Kept you waiting, huh? Nah, pretty sure I only kept myself waiting. So finally, a new page. It's kinda sad, my iPhone couldn't even load the previous one anymore... Does loading embedded frames hog that much memory? Nah, pretty sure iPhones are just sad. Well, I've got a plan this time around, maybe. Dunno if it'll actually work, but... Let's start this fresh page with the epitome of J-Rock... Sign! So, if I keep these inside spoiler tags, will it lighten the load? Only 19 more posts will tell. Sign, by FLOW. I don't have a lot to say... But for starters, FLOW has some amazing music, they really have this unique style of J-Rock that's extremely melodic. I don't have much personal experience with this song, I heard it by playing random songs on Osu! and instantly fell in love. It's a Naruto OP... And there's also a 'sadness' version. Supposedly the song marked a glorious yet very sad episode. I dunno, to me, this song is one of the first things in my mind at the mention of J-Rock. Again, the epitome of J-Rock. I hear this song and I just get so pumped... The main chorus is just so grand and inspiring, uplifting and powerful. Lots of songs are amazing, but somehow Sign always stands out to me with divinity amongst the genre. So, speaking of FLOW, I think I'll follow the next few posts with some of my favorites by them. I'm hearing the FLOW!

Let's flow away with the flow of the sky as we super mecha fly! No, really, there are mechs that soar the skies with its flow. Days: Days by FLOW is the first opening to one of the animes of my life, Eureka Seven. If you ask what my favorite mecha is, there's much competition, but Nirvash always has a place in my sky of love. Eureka Seven is... The first anime I ever saw avidly, as in not just on TV, and it got me into watching anime as again, more of a hobby. I didn't realize it then, but it's one of the most magical experiences in anime. The world it's set in is very fantasy-like (geographically as well)... And a lot of the world partakes to the skies. The mechs literally surf on the air (the boards aren't just a 'style'), on special air particles, which leave behind the sparkling green trails. People also surf on smaller boards, so there's a bit of skater culture in the world's lore. Explosions are a soft, colorful pink. The world is full of so many little details that if you could sit back and take it all in, it's breathtaking. The intermission screens are so awesome and streamlined. And that's without all the supernatural things that happen, like Nirvash's beautiful but chaotic Seventh Swell, a phenomenon where the heavens burst with a pillar of light to rain destruction... Or transforming into some huge mech in the name of love and burning a heart into the moon. The mech designs are just as good. Nirvash's design has just always clicked with me, far before I even knew what Eureka Seven was... My signature mecha color scheme, glowing green eyes, sleek design with styled jagged edges, super style flying, fights with a bladerang, transforming into a car and a ship... I suppose that's enough... And that was nothing about the song. I think it's one of FLOW's best, it's really a sort of brother to Colors, Code Geass's opening, they're a bit too similar. Days really captures the mood of Eureka Seven's themes of the sky. 1:20 of the video is such a memorable part of any anime opening... The camerawork and motions, and flying through the explosion in sync to that amazing, amazing chord at the end of the main chorus... So, in closing, in the same vein of Eureka Seven, imagine an adolescent boy and girl saying: To be continued!

On the topic of FLOW...No colors. I am the sads. (Though it was mentioned.) That aside, I need to watch Eureka Seven. ...I NEED TO.

Listen to the familiar sound... Of Colors!Does it all rush back? The sound of Code Geass? Oh, I remember the days when Lancelot roller skated on walls and flipped around enemies. Its launching sequence in the opening synced to the start if the main chorus... Sometimes an opening is a good song... And sometimes it makes an anime extremely memorable. Code Geass is an unforgettable story, but one never forgets the days of watching its first opening, either. No matter how amazing this song is, it's inseparable from the anime, and it's what you will always think of, the entirety of the story that is Code Geass. To me, it also goes hand in hand with Days, it's like a much more upbeat variation. P.S. you do NEED to watch Eureka Seven. FLOW is an amazing band, and the epitome of J-Rock... And some J-Pop. It's easy to keep going on about their songs, with other unforgettable melodies like World's End, and the second Eureka Seven has a song by FLOW that's a huge throwback to Days. But I'll let the FLOW saga end here, where it began... Go!!!Gone are the days of middle school... Playing this song every single Friday after getting home, so ecstatic and carefree that the weekends of paradise have come. I remember telling my old friend I did that, and I remember he replied by sharing another song he preferred. It was Eureka Seven's third opening... Funny how life can be. This song still represents and sounds like a carefree world to me. But to this day, I'm a fighting dreamer.

I was originally going to post this in the "what song are you listening to" thread, but instead...I felt I'd post it here. Welcome to the Most Stevemotional OST, a very different but similar post from what you might be used to. This song makes me very...sentimental. I don't know why. I have Minecraft. I play it from time to time. So why does this song make me feel this way? Perhaps it's just that moving to me...it makes me think of times gone by, and looking back on my life. Regrets, sadness, and then joy. I was a kid who was a pent up ball of anger and bottled up emotions during middle school. Basically I was treated like a floor mat; stepped on, kinda hated by just about everyone. I didn't know who to fit in with, and I admit it, I'm an attention hog... But I like to crack the funniest jokes, to make people smile. It's something I had always strived on doing. 8th grade was my all time low, to the point to where I nearly committed suicide. And then, one day, when I was at pretty much the lowest I had ever been...I came across this site. Gotcha Force Fan. I joined, but didn't do much. This was February 15th, 2011. I moved along, and forgot about this site for a couple months. Then, in May I came back to it and met a English guy named Alexander David Pritchard who went by the username Alberenza. Him and I...this was our first time really on a forum. He joined rping. So did I. I met a couple people who went by Regal and rubynooby, and we wrote. An ongoing story simply called "Gotcha Force - A New Threat" I named it off of a Dragon Ball Z episode. I don't even really like DBZ, but I did. It came to become the first rp ever finished on this site. Others popped up while we made this, but they never finished. It's funny. I look back on A New Threat now and realize how bad it was...how terrible we were at writing. But that doesn't matter. Any time I read it, I cringe...and I smile. Because this site, that one story, and those people, along with others who were around, and those who followed, who helped me out of the ultimate low of my life. I've lied before about things here, been way too dramatic, blown up over stupid things...but all in all, this is one of my favorite places. Some would call it an escape from life; I would call it my saving grace. Al, in particular...we've argued a lot. We've spouted pointless BS at each other. We've shunned each other. And I know I don't know you fully, and you don't know me. But believe me when I say this: I owe you everything. You, and everyone here. We were welcomed with open arms and nothing but kindness. This is one of the few places on the internet where you can really find that. Writing with you was, and still is, one of the most enjoyable things in my life. Because of this site, and because of you, I've become better than that sad sack I once was. Thank you, Al. Thank you, Claxus. Thank you, Regal. Thank you, Riku. Thank you, Brady. Thank you, Tat, wherever you are. Thank you guys so much. I love music, I love writing, and I love this site, and everyone here I talk to. You guys are amazing, and whether you think so or not, know that you saved this sad sack from years and years of depression...or worse.

This is all I got...
Well, a nostalgic piano song like that does that sort of thing. Gets you thinking... A lot. I'm just glad there's somewhere where some people will always be around, without flimsy bonds. I'm kind of a doormat wallflower. Outside of here I can't say I have any real friends. The two closest friends I had and anyone else long gone. No one ever cared about our social links and disappeared as soon as it became irrelevant. But I suppose I hit the jackpot here. When we've all at some point let out how much this place and the people in it mean to us, maybe more than once, I know there's no point in the story where Steve and Al disappear. And as a whole it's just the nicest place for anything really. Gotcha Force Fan is... Outer heaven.
Basically, I'm happy this is a place where friendship bonds like Persona or (mecha anime) are a real thing.

No tl;dr to go with that last post though. I dunno, this place is more like a hangout for a circle of friends than a forum really... And Al is more of a catalyst than he seems to realize. What really stuck me here was when we used to play Blazblue, and then he got me back into RPing. And... Yet he's not too keen on those things these days... But now I stick around for both of you.
But right, kinda just came here to say I also Minecraft and maybe we should have a timeless journey some time. And I need to get back into this topic.

Better when I get a computer that runs MC faster than 15 FPS, but a good idea.

I can play BlazBlue whenever though I'll be very unpracticed. I was planning on getting back into Arcsystems with Ultimax, though, which is out now. Planning on getting it shortly after Christmas once I've burned out on Smash again.
As for Minecraft, I dunno, maybe if we played a console version.

A song that makes my spirit feel like it has reached enlightenment... Yushi no GaisenI believe it translates roughly to 'Brave Warrior's Return.' When I listen to this... I feel like just giving a speech. About friends, bonds, having come to terms with everything in myself. Ready to face a true obstacle, with a pure mind. I don't watch Dragon Ball Z much, but I've always believed the series should have ended at the Freiza saga... Super Saiyan was so amazing and meaningful, but after that it devolves into weak power-ups. But when Goku first transforms, harder to destroy than a planet, for the sake of his friends and everything he stands for, angry and vengeful with a silent calm. I hear the song now, and I feel a lot of things. Not too long ago I went by Claxus... I never thought I would change to go by another name. Indigo was a sort of alter ego I created in Monster Hunter, to try and make friends... I think I talked about this back in the ridiculously large Monster Hunter Tri song posts? Well, it was pretentious... But it's an act that I think became a part of me. With the latest Monster Hunter, I went with Indigo again, hoping for better closure to that story of Indigo... Uh, long story short, I've made a friend so amazing that, well, I got used to being Indigo... They mean that much to me. And to think it started with the word, towards me, "Lame."! And teasing about being in love... The thing is, the color indigo, in Japanese, is 'ai.' I didn't know until they told me later on... The other thing is, 'ai' also means love, in Japanese. It must be destiny that a name I chose so randomly has come to have such wordplay... It's been about two months, but my time with them has been like no other in my life. I feel I've faced myself in many ways, and truly reached Meikyo Shisui... I've been so happy. I'm no longer lonely... I can really feel all my bonds... I could go on for so much, but I think that's enough... I think I'll be posting here a little more occasionally! And you can probably tell what's with the new title now. I've been getting called Ai a lot... And Ai is incredibly flexible for puns, the Ai puns never end these days... And I guess this is the Yushi no GAIsen to this topic!

A part of me is glad that I did that teasing now. A part of me is also sad that I didn't stick around to watch the two of you more.
I can't believe there hadn't been a post in this thread since December, I'm glad to see you back here.

Wh-What? We're not in love like that... As intimate as we ended up, it's not like that! E-Even if we say we love each other, it's not romantically... It's kind of strange... Honestly, maybe before I would have been infatuated... But I think I've overcome many flaws, including how prone I was to infatuation. And we're such close friends that I don't feel I want anything more. Actually, that teasing isn't what I was referring to, though... When we met, and they called me lame for waving hi, I lamented on my knees, and they asked if I was in love... It was weird. I found out later on then, they told me they said it because indigo is ai, or love, in Japanese. After that teasing, we had our first hunt, and, like you usually saw when you hunted with us, it played out like Chat Hunter. It was so exciting. We bonded through that hunt! That night we had already started to get in contact outside of Monster Hunter (not like in person...), and pulled an all-nighter just talking... We've spent every waking moment spending time together since then, through so many peaks and valleys of emotions! I can almost feel tears when I talk about our friendship... These recent days have sucked, we can't spend every single hour together like we used to. We always relate whatever we do--... There's too much more I can say, but this is getting a little embarrassing... Oh yeah, when I think back to our first hunt, a song comes to mind... I've already posted this one here before. But it's in a new light, now. Isn't it awesome? Can't you imagine a meeting of the minds, casually hunting their first time together, bantering to each other for the first time? Soon to become a bond of a lifetime? That's how the song was first used in the anime, too... So I think the song really feels like a carefree bond in a battlefield.

inb4 obligatory "I-it's not like I like you or anything!"
Anyways, as far as a song that makes me feel like I could do anything, this has got to be the one.
It's the battle theme of Baten Kaitos Origins for Gamecube. Only, it's the guitar version. It's got to be the most beautifully crafted battle theme in existence.

Oh, the stories I could tell you about Baiten Kaitos... I think I have at some point. Possibly in this thread.Incidently, that thread or this thread are the threads you may want to use if you want to share music. I'm sure Indigo doesn't mind, especially since you're responding to him, but Aimotional OST generally exists for Indigo to share various stories and feelings as much as it does for him to share music. I'm not entirely sure why he gets away with it, but it is what it is. Anyway, not really an infraction by any stretch of the imagination, but I just thought I should bring that to your attention. Incidently...

I'm still wondering exactly what I'm getting away with here... This song is just a minute long, but I've always loved it. It's so short, but catchy, upbeat, and inspirational... From Persona 4: The Animation. Ain't Nobody Can Hold Me Down: I guess it's kind of like 'Reach Out to the Truth' to me. Though it's even shorter, it just doesn't get old. When I listen to it, it makes me pretty confident. The lyrics are so simple, but it just works with the melody... A straight-to-the-point song about believing in yourself and going for what you want. Well, the first half is different and may be difficult to understand. And this song is hard to find as it is, and searching the lyrics... I barely even got a result by searching some quoted lines from the song. It's a nice song. And now more than ever... Truly believing in my dreams, making them just dreams no more.

This is quite cool. V For Two: Armored Core: Verdict Day... it's a sort of post-apocalyptic mech game, about rebuilding a lost world. It's full of slimy politics and stuff, and the atmosphere is pretty heavy. Basically, it's a tough, harsh reality of a desolated world. The game starts with this track (starting at 1:15), the tutorial stage. All you do is tread straight forward across a long-abandoned and destroyed highway in a desert area, surrounded by several remains of buildings around you. Along the way, you come across tanks, helicopters, and whatnot. They're kind of worthless against your machine as you just go forward, take everything they throw like nothing, and blow them up in single shots. I don't know... it's just awesome. Along with the song, it just feels like the start of something great. You're a glimmer of hope in the world, as you trek forward against everything in your path as an unstoppable war machine. The song is a little tense and dark sounding, but the piano in it lightens up the mood with some hope, and then the the main melody just sticks out so powerfully and upbeat. I remember when I first played it, the game lets you import data from ACV, so I played through the tutorial with my same AC (mech) that beat the last game... it had such an awesome 'Season 2' vibe as my trusty mech tanked through the desolate world unstoppably into a new arc... Part of why I'm posting it now though, is that the game doesn't have the whole first 1:15. I looked the song up and found out it starts with such a bittersweet little piano. Really sounds like the start of a journey of a depressing, dark, but hopeful fight against a gloomy world. Then it goes earbliteration into the main part. Now, there's all kinds of things the title of the song can imply...
