I'm not sure what you mean by those last two lines. Were those about Toogami's character? I think he generally just grows as time goes on. Otherwise its safe to assume that he genuinely has a pretty huge ego.

Those last two lines were actually lines he said in the game. And the way he cooperates with Naegi and some of the others, despite constantly putting them down... He does have a huge ego, but it almost seems like he doesn't mean half of what he says. Well, he's a cool character.

Hmm... Yeah I really like Toogami, but I don't remember those lines... probably just a difference in translation. Thing is as big as his words are, I feel as though he can back them up, he isn't just hot air. So many characters like him usually turn out to be cowards but Toogami feels like he's talking fact.
Anyway, I eagerly anticipate your reaction to this game's climax. Any ideas of what to expect?

It's Togami, you know. But yeah, different translations are to be expected. I'm not sure just how much the translation patch changes compared to the original, though... It's probably faithful to the original, just with a little more English taste in personalities (catchphrases and the like) and jokes. There hasn't been that many more American jokes, though, and they still mention tons of Japanese stuff. And during voiced parts of trials, I can usually pick up some key words here and there that match up with the text translation, so I'd say they tried their best with keeping it close.
As for the climax... I can't say much for now. At this point anything is just guessing, so I'd need more to go on before suspecting anything that will happen. Well, the only thing I expect is raining justice upon Monobearenza.

Nah, it's not mine. I have a typical cozy hikkomori house. (I'll probably try to make some mech posters)
Well, let's see when things will really pick up... So far it seems we're pretty close to pinning down the puppetmaster, and it's been strangely the easiest trial thus far.

And yeah this trial is kind of easy from what I saw. It may very well be the longest though.

It's already cleared up that it could have been none other than the puppetmaster. Now it's time to find out exactly what went on behind Mukuro Ikusaba's death... So Monobearenza's identity will follow soon.

If it makes you feel any better JB is now a nasty, crappy little scumbag. Like...more than before. Now instead of being a "girly singer" he's a complete idiot. Also, Good luck clax.

CURAIMAXU LOGICU

Listen to my story. This may be our last chance...
I am... CURAIMAXUS
Uh... Monobearenza told me something like, 'if only I knew his true goal, just brilliant.' Hm... I suppose I expected something more besides... What I knew from the moment I saw him. Well, Enoshima was Enoshirenza all along... Offering nothing but, 'there's despair over there, there's despair over there, it don't matter which way you go but you gotta despair, sucker.' Despair because I'm finicky RP maker and I like despair rawr.
Ah well... It was truly a great story. Held back some imaginary tears, had some shivers down my spine, and didn't want it to end... Some excellent feelings just before opening the final door, and so much anxiousness despite all I could think about was how they weren't actually going to show anything. Well, I can only hope the sequel gives true closure... Open ended finales just aren't my thing, although that was the greatest open end I've ever seen. So much fear, anxiousness, suspense, and hope, but ready for anything... And the credits song was also very good and the style and lyrics were perfect for the game.
Well... The randomized main menu portraits always gave me Fujisaki to the point I thought he was a poster boy of sorts for some reason, and I thought I was delusional when I thought it was Maizono one time. After finishing the game and going back to the main menu one final time, Maizono greeted me... I'll go into the new world, with nothing but the strength you gave me...

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The sequel isn't done yet so I don't know if you want to bother reading it, but here is the LP.Anyway release! I can finally start talking about Junko Enoshima, my favorite character in the entire franchise! I mean honestly I love her personalities(s) philosophy and appearance, basically everything about her. The perfect metagame villain for a game like this. She practically sets it up purely to create a good story, and every aspect of her personality reinforces despair. I mean even playing Monobear was a struggle for her, and yet she's so good at playing him that I still maintain the idea that Monobear is his own character entirely, I mean Monobear himself feels completely different to Junko and... oh... just Junko. I could ramble on all day about nothing. Basically everything about her is golden. Except maybe her shouty personality. I didn't like that one because she stretches her face unnaturally. But I guess there was bound to be something I didn't like... Maybe I should go write that poem I promised Steve... Anyway the reason I stated that Monobear's true goal is truely glorious is because, really, Monobear's true goal really wasn't all the glorious. It was done for her own sake, because she enjoys it. This game liked to create sympathetic villains, namely Leon and Mondo, who killed only because of the pressure and situation they were in. In other words, extreme external stimuli which would cause anyone to do what they did. Junko and to a lesser extent Celes however had character based reasons for doing what they did, even if they were ultimately quite shallow. (despair/money fetish. I mean seriously I looked up the translated trials and Junko says that despair is orgasmic for her. Wow.) But Junko really has a lot of interesting things to say if you look past all the crazy personality switching. Specifically, if you look at some of Monobear's lines in the Monobear theatre in such and other places. Go watch Mukuro being killed again, for example, and you'll see what I mean. Also, listen to everything Mukuro says, especially her free time events. Makes me wonder what their childhood was like... Also here's a figure I ordered. Why is it that none of the women I like exist? Oh well.

You two are the sweetest couple. I thought you were writing her lines for a while back there. Well, there's no such thing as a real ideal girl, and as such they only exist in media. Just don't turn into Takumi... I'll never forget you, Maizono-chan.
Also, I've seen something in Dangan Ronpa 2 that almost makes me depressed.

I think you may be the biggest Maizono fan anyway. Usually anyone who would be a Maizono fan becomes a Kirigiri or even a Syo/Fukawa fan soon enough. Just a lot of good characters, basically. But yeah, never seen so much appreciation for her. What did you see in DR2? Assuming you haven't already spoiled something for yourself, I would imagine it would be Toogami's random appearance in the cast. Which isn't really depressing, more confusing.

I'm a Togami fan. Reminds me of me with more money. Also, I bet I know what he saw, and if he did, it's spoilers. And most likely Al's fault. ...somewhat.
