So in the end, the mystery anime ends with unresolved mysteries. I'm guessing I'll have to read SDR2 to find out what actually happens/happened. I didn't think DRTA was the kind of anime to go in the direction that it did with the ending, but it was pretty good. An inspirational speech about hope, always moving forward, and not giving up... kind of reminds me of another anime. Don't even have to click that link to know what it is. That aside, it makes sense; it's hope against despair, a good hope speech was kinda called for. Also, DR2 will answer many of your questions. Just gotta read it.I remember some people in the something awful thread not liking the end to Dangan Ronpa. Apparently it was too silly, and of course it left too much open. I have no idea why they were expecting anything less. Anyway yes if you want answers you should be reading the LP of the second game. The thread not only has the game but it also has DR zero being translated, which will also answer a lot of questions. Recently the translator, Oren, got around to the second volume. DR IF can also be found online. It's hypothetical and non cannon but it does characterize Mukuro and that's always nice. Umm... Don't look for a summary. Don't listen to anything Steve tells you. Either that or you can ignore me and wait for the anime adaption of 2.

So since Njay posted the abridged thing it seems only fitting to go 'HEY LOOK AN UPDATE TO THE ABRIDGED SERIES!' With as much enthusiasm as we would the main games. Speaking of which Chapter 3 of the SDR2 LP has well and truly begun now so... yeah, every post here I'm pretty much just going to direct people to the LP.
Oh, I didn't say it was a new episode or anything. But it was pretty funny even if the first episode was pretty self explanatory in terms of their take on the characters. Here's hoping that unlike every other abridged series ever, this one actually gets finished.

Ahh yes I saw that not long ago. Completely forgot about it. It's a pretty interesting story really. Kind of weird that Nagito was super highschool level luck before Naegi was, though. I was under the assumption that Naegi was the first. Then again, Nagito really DOES have super high school level luck. He could probably take over the world with his luck. I think it's humerous that they provide the idea here that Naegi's luck might work in a similar manner. After all, he wouldn't have become SHCL hope and defeated Junko were it not for the events of Dangan Ronpa.

Danganronpa 3 anime and v3 game announced!
People are saying the anime continues the storyline of SDR2 and AE, while the v3 game is completely new.

Link to ANN article containing screenshots and PV for everything Njay just said.Umm... my thoughts. It looks cool, although it's weird that they seem to be skipping a DR2 adaption. Making an anime only sequel to the main games seems like it would limit their audiences, to people who both play the games and follow the anime. I mean anime adaptions exist to expand audiences for games anyway, but you kinda already have to be a fan of the games to want to watch DR3. You can't watch D3 if you only watched the D1 adaption because they never adapted D2. The V3 game looks pretty cool though. The character design for the girl looked too similar to previous designs, and it's kinda disappointing that they're defaulting to an academy setting again, but the cyborg guy looked cool and it looked like it was incorporating some new gameplay elements. The end of the trailer looked like an Etrian Odyseey style dungeon crawler. V3 looks really good. EDIT: Just realised that the cyborg looks like a replica of Naegi and is probably the MC. Ok cool cool.
