I don't think I'll read it, actually... I'm not much of a fan of reading. It's definitely interesting, but with an anime coming around, I'll just wait for that. Unless the anime doesn't cover the whole story, then I'd probably read the rest.
I prefer visual novels with some gameplay in them, like ArcSys' fighters, technically the Persona games, or even Carnage Heart EXA (Yep, to my wonderful surprise, the story mode is basically a mecha/mystery visual novel)... Or just any medium where it's easier to picture things, like manga or RPGs. I admit, I'm just not much of a reader and get bored easily, even in Blazblue and such, but those have nice action breaks (or hours of programming mechs) in between .

Take a gander at the demo (don't worry, no spoilers) It's like a first person shooter with words. Trust me, it's an enjoyable read and there are also screenshots and it gets to the point quite quickly in most cases. Still, if you want to wait for the anime in many months time, whatever. Even so, they WILL NOT cover the second game.

Because it requires a lot of time and interest and imagination.
I don't hate reading at all, I just enjoy it more when there's a bit more to do. The main thing I dislike is that my imagination always differs from the writer, as text naturally can't describe everything, and sometimes what I'm reading contradicts what I've pictured in my mind. So I feel like I get a more 'full' experience in games which have fully detailed settings and events. Or at least, visual novels which depict to an extent, what the writer meant, rather than my own picture.
I know it's all about imagination, but I don't like how visually open-ended written stories can be. And overall I just like the visual-novel/game hybrid that keeps things interesting and interactive with gameplay segments as the story goes on.
With that said... The actual game looks like something I'd definitely play, especially with it being on PSP. It seems the translation is about 95% done now, too. Dangan Ronpa/Zero will come later, and 2 later as heck, but I'll be waiting for them.

Yeah, its not like reading a novel wherein I'd agree for the most part. You pretty much don't have to imagine anything with the level of detail they provide. Plus, the game is really expensive these days.

I saw a post here and didn't look as I assumed Al was saying there's an update to DR2. I was wrong about Al's post, but there is an update.

First time I watched one of the execution vids. ...that was a very sadistic death. You didn't watch the other execution videos? Fix that! But now it's official. I love Komaeda. Not as much as you-know-who, but he's my second favorite character in the entire franchise for sure.

Gotta say I like how he keeps confusing everyone and twisting statements. EDIT: Also, I wasn't spot on, but ____s death did have to do with the comment of "nobody dies on my watch."

Thanks. Also, I really liked DR IF, it showed more on a character I wanted to see more of, and their Bond with another amazing character. I don't see how it's creepy though. EDIT: Paywall's back up. ._. ... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

EDIT: Paywall's back up. ._. ... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!That sucks. It's alright though, you're not missing much. Essentially they just went to the new island that opened up after the trial, so you could probably leave it for a while and it should be up again as the investigation starts. Also, Nagito made a speech clarifying the position he was talking about during and after the trial. I may have over reacted over if, but what isn't kinda messed up about the protagonist actually being impaled instead of who was supposed to be impaled, then Monobear pushing another character to kill and/or rape him while he's still bleeding to death? So maybe that was just one moment, and I guess the actual games are creepier as a whole, but I think that that scene in the infirmary is probably the creepiest scene in the franchise as a whole. Bear in mind, when I told you about IF I had just finished reading that chapter, and hadn't actually finished. Ok ok I should stop justifying myself to much. I made a slip up, I guess. Was a damn creepy scene though far as I'm concerned... still, damn good IF though and the title drop was just epic.
