Anywho power items? What are these mystical power items you speak of? Sounds like macho braces and the like. Power Anklet/Band/Belt/Bracer/Lens/Weight. You give them to a Pokémon and their speed is halved Macho Brace-style but they get 4 EVs for a particular stat in addition to any EVs they normally get from a Pokémon. Also if one of the parents is holding one in the day-care the baby inherits that parent's IV in the stat. They're all 16 BP, meaning you just have to casually curb-stomp the first 13 battles in Single Battle mode of the Maison and you can get one.

Just caught zygarde. Goodness he was a giant *explitive censor* (is bastard even an explitive?) to catch. He died so many times.
I have discovered however that repeat balls apparently love me, becauss even though i have never caught a zygarde before i managed to snag him with one.
Thats not the first time ive done so either.
Anywho,i also caught a skarmory with a premier ball. And managed to locate shadow ball which means that jeff is finished learning moves until level 100 when he learns psyshock or w/e its called.
Also jeff is my mewtwo, i have a habit of catching him and not being able to come up with a cool name so i settle on jeff. And its not like im like "caught another mewtwo time to name him jeff." Either. I sit there for 20+ min trying to name him. And when i cant im like "alright jeff. Your name is jeff now." And im done.
Btw mega jeff y is awesome looking.
Oh and i got all the megastones in y. Minus venusaur and charizard. But i can buy those whenever. Time to friend safari i guess...

Tip: Even if shooting fairy-type hyper beams is awesome (which it is) Florges, Flabebe's final form, does what Sylveon was made for (Special tank with high SAtk as well) only nine times better. Point 1: Base stats. Sylveon's best stats are a base 110 in SAtk and 130 in SDef. Florges has 112 SAtk and 154 SDef. As for other stats... The only stat sylveon beats Floges in is HP. Sylveon's base is 95, Florges' is 78. Their attack stat is the same, 65. Neither of them will be using that stat most likely. Florges' defense is 68, Sylveon's is 65. Florges' speed is 75, Sylveon's is 60.
Considering Florges excels in every stat except HP, there's a big point for the flower right there.
Point 2: Sylveon gets wish from egg moves! Counter: Florges learns Wish and Aromatherapy from level-up. Argument invalid.
Point 3: Sylveon can turn its normal moves into Fairy moves! This would actually be good if she had the stats and moves to complement it. The only moves that would even be used are Hyper Beam and Echoed Voice...neither of which are very good. Nevertheless, it's still a better ability than Florges. But neither are particularly good.
Extra points: Sylveon's movepool is REALLY bad. Offensively it gets Fairy moves, Normal moves, one ghost move (Shadow ball) and Dig, which sucks. Florges gets a slightly better offensive movepool, only because there are more good options.
Either way, they're both probably going to be used as Healers, and Florges has Sylveon beat in that aspect easily, with more bulk and speed, along with Aromatherapy.
EDIT: I actually forgot, Wish is based off the users HP, so Sylveon WOULD have stronger Wishes. So there is a small niche.
EDIT2: I am definetly getting a Clawitzer. That thing looks awesome, with good SAtk and a great ability with all the right moves to complement it.

So sylveon is a crap eveelution? I figured. They shouldve made a dragon or steel one... id have settled for a bug one or a flying one.
Or a second psychic one because espeon looks freaking stupid.
I guess im going articuno hunting. Yay pokemon that runs before i can do anything!
Also i find it humourous that ninetendo didnt include a minor trio or duo of legendaries in X&Y i guess there is "dlc" now and all, but still, im surprised.

I'm at the elite four, carrying the same party I had since before the 2nd gym. It's been brutal at times due to not using the EXP share, but these guys have pulled through for me. The final trial awaits...am I prepared? Going in with 30 Full restores, 30 revives, 30 full heals, and 30 hyper potions, along with this team:
Starboard/Greninja lv. 63 Empress/Mawile Lv. 62 AZ/ Florges Lv. 59 Haruhi/Meowstic Lv. 60 Overrated/Charizard Lv. 59 Wengi/Vivillon Lv. 57
Each member has done extremely well, with minimal grinding. I question if they can take on the Elite Four like this...but I'll try.
EDIT: and as I figured, the water E4 is the one who will screw me over. No grass or electric types; the closest thing is Thunderbolt on Haruhi. As soon as that Gyarados got in two dragon dances, I knew I was doomed.

You have 5 times more items than you need and a well-balanced team that isn't almost entirely weak to anything in particular and you're not sure it's enough to win? I mean, yeah, level gap, but that's hardly even a level gap.

Teach vivillon draining kiss and hurricane steve. Hurricane beats litterally freaking everything and my vividwing never misses with it. Then again vividwing is a beast but still Also berry farming is super fun XD Oh and DE, you give out pupitar, rhydon and lamely dwebble in your safari. Had i found a decent rhydon id would have caught it. I did catch a pupitar though.

YOU TAKE THAT BACK

I haven't had my Vivillon miss with hurricane yet, and I have Shield Dust. After four attempts and hax trying to ruin my day, I finished with a mere time of 12:56. Lots of close calls, and Mawile was definetly my star player, but I pulled through. It felt so much more satisfying this time.

I was way worse off than that in the E4. In short, all I ever used was revives and super potions in between rounds. Just a max revive at the championship, and I didn't even need it, just wanted to finish things off with Golurk. All of my Pokemon were about 5 levels below their average... They're just a joke. They may have been a force to be reckoned if they had more than 4 Pokemon, but it's so easy to win just by the fact of having more Pokemon. If you have that many good restoratives and don't limit yourself on using them, even without clear advantages over their Pokemon, I don't even know where you'd begin doubting you can make it. The Scizor at the steel part getting full restored two times and taking out the majority of my team threw me off on difficulty, but it was an overall joke.
So... I'm training a Helioptile right now. Gonna try to get a pseudo-rain dance team going with him. He learns Surf, and with Dry Skin, regens a bit at the end of every turn in rain. Could be great with his Electrify, as well as leftovers. He'll regenerate 1/4 HP from water attacks, too. So if someone tries to make use of that rain (or just use water attacks in general), they may be risking attacking a switched-in Heliolisk.
Problem is, he's weak to fighting and ground. But that's not too terrible all things considered. He also gets STAB on Return.
I also kinda wanna use Jolteon, but that'd be my third weak to ground... He was pretty great with Agility and Baton Pass.

The flaw i see in your baton pass jolteon is that you can only switch until everything else is dead lol. And with agility making him first... arent you just throwing out a pokemon to die in his place? Then again that could be useful if you were to say throw out a flying type to counter earthquake i suppose.

I just didn't have a good advantage and I got dragon dance sweeped.

And with agility making him first... arent you just throwing out a pokemon to die in his place? Then again that could be useful if you were to say throw out a flying type to counter earthquake i suppose. Depends. Jolteon is very one-track minded to begin with, not a whole lot of diversity with him. Besides the meta game, I don't think it's too bad to give him somewhat of a support role with his speed. He already moves first by default, against almost anything in the game. The agility is to throw out a Pokemon with doubled Speed, and it doesn't necessarily mean it'll be dying. It's not like it's all I'll do with him, he's still a good Sp. Attacker, but if I get a chance, I can probably use Agility if I think I get a chance, and then, for example, Baton Pass to Bisharp against a Psychic attack, or a physical attack it's strong against. In the fight with my friend, Bisharp countered their Pokemon, so they had to switch, and I got to Sword Dance during that. After that, Bisharp had speed that guaranteed it to move first, and was ready to do huge damage, even possibly flinch with Iron Head. Jolteon's also not a bad idea to Rain Dance with if I get a favorable matchup that doesn't have ground, he can then Thunder with 100% accuracy. But anyway, I think I'm removing Jolteon for Heliolisk, to not have a bad Earthquake weakness. As for Gyarados in the E4, Emolga lol'd at it. Thunderbolt nearly OHKO'd it, and paralyzed it. It got parahax'd and then I finished it. But it's understandable. Scizor was my Gyarados, that thing resisted most of my team and I had nothing with fire.

Fought Metal. I LOVE MEGA MAWILE IT CRUSHES EVERYTHING.
Oh hey mega mewtwo! *sucker punch* *OHKO* good times.
I've been using Mega Mawile in Pokemon Showdown too. (my team on there is pretty much my ingame team actually: DW male Meowstic DW Talonflame Greninja Aegislash Florges Mawile
The last four are in my ingame team now.)
Anyway, gg. Those parahax on Xerneas made me laugh. Geomancy is like a bad version of Quiver Dance.

Switched up my team a ton. Well, this is more like an alternate team, anyway. It doesn't have Bisharp or Mawile! Actually, I traded my Mawile to someone who really wanted her... Someone I know so it's not like she'll be gone forever though, she's just having happy times with someone else. And Bisharp, I'm replacing with TAUBUUURN (Gallade). Jolteon will hopefully help a lot with Gallade's speed issues. So my new team:
Gallade (Tauburn) Heliolisk (Akito) Flygon (Switchy) Jolteon (Excel) Emolga (Kaitus) Floatzel (Luberyl)
Floatzel and Heliolisk can do their thing with Rain Dance (Floatzel's doubled speed, Heliolisk's ability, and both increased water damage). Jolteon can also benefit with his Thunder for huge damage that won't miss. Emolga benefits, too, on the 1% chance his attack would miss. Flygon is the dragon backbone of the team, with all-roundness and Earthquake. Jolteon and Emolga can help with Agility -> Baton Pass and Light Screen respectively, Gallade is an Sp. Defender and physical sweeper that can use Reflect for the team.
That's how it works on paper. I might take out Jolteon to try and give Kecleon a role... But more importantly now I need experience in battle to fix the team's flaws.
