discussion of these games, a repetitive duo of the original, goes here.
also, What's your favorite Pokemon?
Mine is, and has been since 3rd gen, is Breloom.
now I have a shiny DW Breloom
here's the set.
Breloom(shiny)
Ability: Technician
Item: Life Orb
Nature: you want to try to get adamant. Of course, I got a shiny, so I didnt go after nature. funny thing, it ended up getting Adamant nature anyway. ;D
Moves: Bullet Seed
Superpower
Swords Dance
Mach Punch
great set. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.
EDIT: had to add nature bit.

I got Pokemon White Version, and that's basically it.
My strongest Pokemon is, like my previous plays, Servine. Main chose him when he was a Snivy just because I saw an Ad on TeamFourStar's site that had "Hater's gonna hate" on it, with Snivy wearing an awesome top hat.

I thought there was already a Black/White thread...Anyway it's probably long forgotten.
I have to admit I was quite impressed with this game. I like alot of the new Pokemon, even though with some it was quite obvious they have run out of ideas (a friggen ICE CREAM pokemon!), my new favorite for this gen is eiether Galvantula or Kamen Rider Bisharp. I really liked the story of the game as well and it felt refreshing and actually pretty well done considering this is a Pokemon game, admit it, you liked N as a character. I also really liked the music tracks of the game, from the fun town themes, to the event themes that are sometimes emotional (Unwavered Emotions and Farewell), to the epic battle themes. The only thing I have to complain about this game is probably they could have done better with the graphics, on how they probably could have taken better advantage with the DS, but still a nice improvement from Diamond, Pearl, Platnum.
^Wow this just sounded like a review.
My favorite Pokemon is Blaziken, also a Gen 3 Pokemon. I'm having difficulty trying to breed an EV trained one because my lvl 100 Blaziken has the exact nature I want but it is male. Does anyone know a way to breed a Pokemon to have the same nature as the male parent?

Also I have to breed it with a Ditto (since I have no female Blazikens) which I don't think the everstone works if you do that. I'll try it though.

first of all, BEAM GUNNER HOW COULD YOUR BRELOOM NOT HAVE SPORE SHAME ON YOU! i really like a lot of the gen 5 pokes too, but my favorite will always be Scizor, who was surprisingly the most broken pokemon when 4th gen came out ;D okay... breeding, huh? i lurves me some breeding! okay first of all you can't breed EVs... and IVs are completely random... second, to get teh nature you want, just give an everstone to a ditto, and have that ditto breed with one of your pokemon. the baby will have a 50% chance of having the same nature of the ditto. it doesn't matter what the other pokemon is, the nature is dependent on the ditto with the everstone, so its good to have a library of diffferent natured ditto to breed from.

I think the everstone trick works for any pokemon you breed with, except it has to be placed on the mother. Also, in B/W, breeding with foreign dittos (or any pokemon for that matter) increases the chance of the offspring being shiny from 1/8192 to 1/1366. Dittos are just so useful.

It has crappy defense. But it's cool anyway. When it isn't dying in one hit.

I seem to have heard of it before the release of B/W... yeah that came out in fourth gen with diamond/pearl. its called the Masaki method iirc. but the thing is, if you use it, then you cannot do the everstone thing... well that is in fourth gen you cant... not too sure about fifth gen

Masuda Method. And I'm pretty sure you can still use an everstone, but I may be wrong...

guess what? I now hate Breloom. I've now started to get into competitive battling, to realize there's a much better pokemon out there to use.
(plus, breloom has x4 weak to flying. I knew that, but that makes it all worse)
It's name....is Whimsicott, the best frickin subseeder in the world. I love prankster. but now Reuniclus is my favorite pokemon. So my team is looking somewhat like this.
Reuniclus Mienshao Whimsicott Breloom(I keep it in party for singles, it throws people off on selection) Haxorus and Darmanitan/Chandelure
still deciding between those 2. I'll probably go with Darmanitan, since it's faster than Chandelure, and It's power is nuts. I know, I used one through most of my 1st Playthrough.

If you do competitive online, Dream World Chandelure is so boss. (he hasn't been released in-game though) Shadow Tag + Calm Mind = DESTRUCTION

Dragon here. My character's name is "Drake" and "I'm a DRAGON trainer". I have every friggin dragon in the game that I can have. Minus the 4th gen ones, or at least until my friend can hack me in some copies. My favorite Pokemon is Blaziken, also a Gen 3 Pokemon. you know he's banned from online right? Dream world blazikan has speed boost so they banned him from online, rather than changing his dream world ability.
