Wait, which one is the bat's evolution? Woo or Swoo? I'd like the evolution. My goddang bat won't get happy enough to evolve even though I've given him massages for the past WEEK, and let him fight with that bell thing. >:C I would go through my typical problem-solving method of asking a bunch of stupid questions about what you may be doing wrong and ask such questions as "Has the Woobat leveled up during this time?", "Have you been letting your Woobat faint in battle, have low HP, have status conditions, etc.?", and "Are you absolutely sure your Woobat isn't a Swoobat?", but that never works and you've probably thought of these things already, so I'll just say that I'm pretty sure you can catch Swoobats in the wild. And that Swoobat is the evolution.

Can't catch Swoobats in wild, haven't fainted/status'd the Woobat, he's in Luxury ball, and he's leveled up over 5 levels during the week I massaged him. WHY WON'T YOU LOVE ME WOOBAT

are you putting him in the box? because that resets happiness.

Nope, I've had him at the front of my team the whole time. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. :\ My brother battles on there all. day. long. He's got a pretty high ranking as a result though.

i think he also has to level up after reaching 255 happiness(which is an unreadable value, which sucks.) to evolve. All of mine have that way.

it hasn't been traded, has he? Pokemon that you don't own gain happiness MUCH slower than ones you own. If it's anything like the Togepi from XD, You'll be training and battling for a LONG TIME. a VERY, VERY long time. my Togepi on that game started at lv: 25. It didn't evolve till lv: 61, and it had Soothe bell, didn't faint once.

Yikes. You're patient to get him to wait to 61 to evolve him. My bat isn't traded. :\

^I love Togetic that much. ;D also, if it isn't traded, I have no idea. Also, on the topic of LV: 61, that's the ideal level to evolve Litwick. Why? That's when it learns Overheat, it's last move. of course, If you have the TM, there's no point...............

I'm currently using a Togetic for Soul Silver. Luckily mine evolved into a Togetic when it was around Lvl 20. I think, I often had Togepi in the front of my party and would switch it out on most battles. Eiether that or I'm really lucky. ;D

oh, you have the Japanese version? Yeah, saw that that event had started in Japan today, on Serebii. I have Black, so I get shiny Hydreigon. YESH!
also, about the thing with the Togepi, the one in XD is DESIGNED to be traded away. It can evolve, but on serebii, it specifically says that it is insanely hard to evolve. That's why it didn't evolve till lv: 61
also, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MANAPHY. IT IS SUCH AN AMAZING POKEMON. too bad it's in ubers. My favorite non-uber is Whimsicott.

PUNY HUMANS! BOW BEFORE YOUR INSECTOID OVERLORDS! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH--
What? What do you mean we haven't taken over Earth yet? RAID?! Seriously? That's what's stopping us?! Grumble, grumble...
So yes, nothing to see here. Just another perfectly normal Human Pokemon Trainer. Definitely not an English-speaking Scizor in disguise? Where'd you get that preposterous idea? Did Steve tell you that?
...
But yeah, I love me some Bug types. So much so that when my friends at school decided to have a "Gym Leader" tourney, I snatched Bug as soon as possible.
After someone else stole Fighting, the jerk...
Oddly enough, my favourite 'mon is by far Sandslash. He's always been my favourite.
I was actually a regular on Pokemon Online for a while, frequenting the Mysidia server and doing semi-decent. Never was a top player but was a founder of a formerly high-ranking and popular clan on the server. I still go on now and again, but I find myself spread between far too many things.
Also, I can't stand OU. UU has more variety and isn't stupidly overrated.
P.S. Shiny DW Adamant Crawdaunt with Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Crunch, and Superpower. u jelly?

A bug leader eh? I prefer Dragon myself. Although like you, my favorite is not that type, but rather Zoroark, or as I call him, Shadowfox. But most of my team is made up of Dragons. Or they would be as soon as I can borrow a friends DS to transfer all my dragons over. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This...Just...This..... edit: posts merged. Slightly off topic, but I'd just like to put this out there; I really hate almost all 4th gen legendaries and just the pokemon in general.
I mean seriously, they all suck so much. The only things I can stand are; Turtwig line, Empoleon, Darkrai, Manaphy (to an extent), and the evolutions of old pokemon. I seriously can't think of another I like.
Oddly with 3rd gen, its the opposite, I'm struggling to think of a Pokemon I dislike... maybe the Wurmple family? Bout it though.

I know, it's strange. I like almost nothing in 4th gen. What I do like is Manaphy, Gliscor, and Porygon - Z (Which I mainly like because it lets Porygon 2, with it's decent base 105 defenses) use Eviolite. Plus, Porygon - Z has SICK power. Gliscor (DW) gets Poison heal. Manaphy is the best Water type I can think of. (100 stats around the board, acess to Tail glow, which increases Sp.Atk 3 levels)
I like almost everything in 3rd gen. However, for some reason I hate Breloom. It's too [censored] fragile! Hate Luvdisc too. Probly the worst pokemon in the game (not including Magikarp and Tynamo, who get less than 5 moves.)
same for this gen. I like almost everything in 5th gen. Except Amoongus. It's got spore, but it's just too slow to use it.

Did someone just diss Amoongus?!
Reasons why Amoongus is a total badass:
1. Its pre-evolution is called Foongus. There's a Foongus Amoongus.
2. It has Regeneration and is disgustingly bulky. On my PO account, he makes 75% of my teams that aren't mono.
3. It is the only bulky Spore user in the game. Parasect, Breloom, and Smeargle are all frighteningly fragile.
4. Clear Smog mixes well with Spore. You sleep them and then wipe their stats.
I love the new shroom and think it is an incredible tank and can deal well with anything that isn't too beefed up and hitting with STAB SE attacks.

eh, my shiny Tangela is bulkier, at level 100 it's defenses are Def: 300 Sp.Def: 196
and 307 hp.
Now, it doesn't look impressive now, but Tangela has Eviolite. so that's 450 def and 292 sp. def. and, It has reflect. I'd try not to mess with something with 900 defense. and it has Ancient power, Wring out, leech seed, AND it has regenerator as well. It does have acess to sleep powder. and amnesia to increase it's iffy sp. def.
beat THAT.
