Gundam Breaker, like 95% of anything Gundam or mecha, is unfortunately Japan only. At least, as far as current information says. LIKE BORDER BREAK. Also holy crap, I just finished playing through the Astebreed trial, which was released on Comiket 83. AMaaaazing mecha shmup. Amazing even putting aside the fact that's it's a mech-based game. I'm definitely gonna look forward to the full game later on... Still, Carnage Heart EXA is the game of my life that I'm waiting for, the mech game I wanted the most, and the one that's getting localized... Destiny can be so nice sometimes. Border Break would have competed for number 1, but that's not even out of Japanese arcades... And for the 3DS XL, why is it overrated? I prefer the smaller one as a portable, but 3DS games in a pseudo-HD seems pretty awesome. We don't even even get enough game consoles to be able to call them overrated...

www.xseedgames.com/news.php?id=176Pandora's Tower is coming to NA in Spring 2013!!! XSEED has made agreements with Nintendo, and will be publishing the game for North America, like they did for The Last Story. So pumped. The main reason I bought Xenoblade and TLS were in hopes that Pandora's Tower would be brought to NA. My $100 in pre-orders paid off! I really hope there's a limited edition that is the same price (like how XSEED handled TLS). It looks like one amazing game that actually utilizes the Wii's motion controls in awesome fashion, something I really enjoy when done well. Add in the fact that it looks like the chain will be employed a lot makes me even happier, as my favorite tool in any video game has been the Hookshots/Longshots from LoZ. Looking forward to the final splash on the Wii's lifetime, as I have been ever since I saw the trailer for it. I hope it's as great as it looks, hopefully I can finish Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Story before it ships!

^ I plan on it; it shouldn't take too long haha. And in other news, screens of "Killer is Dead" by Suda's Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes/Killer 7 creator, two games which this one is supposedly based off of, or at least the rumors say) have been released. There aren't any videos or anything yet, but there are screens in the link if you are interested. The game follows a dude on death row, who must escape execution with the help of his handy dandy katana....or something like that. gamingeverything.com/37514/killer-is-dead-scans-show-first-screenshots/Can't say I'm a fan of NMH yet, I love the battles and boss fights but grinding for money is needless filler that turned me off. I plan on finishing it eventually and playing NMH2 though; apparently that one doesn't have as much filler. I'm still looking for a nice copy of Killer 7!

Yesterday I was sad that I got a 3DS because the upcoming Monster Hunter won't have online on it.
But now, the game where I can have the ultimate badawesome duo of Dante and Haken along with awesome stuff like Gods Eater is being released here... It seems my 3DS will be seeing some bright days besides Kid Icarus.

Monolith Soft's Wii U game: Freaking yes. Looks like Xenoblade, but I think I'll like it better because it has more action and mecha. Wind Waker Wii U Remake
Mario Kart announced [playable at E3]
Yoshi Wii U is being developed as well, by Good Feel [Epic Yarn guys] and Hal.
3D Mario Announced [playable at E3]
SMT x Fire Emblem Crossover announced
Looking good. I'm going to go get some coffee now.
@al, sure thing I'm looking forward to it
@steve, just finished SotC, amazing. Truly serene, but I do have some minor gripes overall. Simply amazing though.

Herpanda... You announced a spiritual successor to xenoblade A remake of my by far favorite zelda. And an SMT (Shin Megami tensei- as in, my favorite RPG series) and FIRE EMBLEM (My favorite strategy series) crossover! IN ONE POST. Not to mention other cool things but those are what I'm
I KNEW THE WII U WAS WORTH IT.
I just hope Atlus doesn't bugger us Europeans over with it like they always do... I simply pray that Nintendo has a hand with publishing it, they're really good in the European branch it seems. And if it comes to Europe, it will definitely come to the US.
... Still no word on persona 4 arena, by the way.

*lost himself at 0:46*
So. Ideal. Running up to a red mech at the end of a cliff, and taking off into the skies... Just like what I wrote in one of my classes' first assignment writing about anything for 2 minutes.

Monolith Soft's Wii U game: Freaking yes. Looks like Xenoblade, but I think I'll like it better because it has more action and mecha. I can tell solely by the thumbnail of that video that this will be interesting. I would've needed a new pair of pants if it had somehow been A Link to the Past, but I need to play Wind Waker at some point anyway, so this is pretty cool. Not that that's surprising or anything. That tells me pretty much nothing, it's pretty great. They didn't give a title or anything? Calling it right now, it never leaves Japan. I like the idea of anyther Yoshi's Island, but I don't know what to think of Good Feel being involved; I feel like they're going to take this in a similar direction to Epic Yarn and it's going to be oversimplified like crazy. Granted, Yoshi's Island and Epic Ya- EDIT: Yo, past self, I'm real happy for ya and I'mma let you finish, but not really because the rest of that sentence is entirely pointless. You can't throw eggs, you're collecting beads, meaning you're not going to be able to die and the only consequence of damage will be losing some of them. This is just another Epic Yarn with slightly different mechanics.

Entire Nintendo Direct, for those interested. I'll have the snippets that were easy to find down there as well. Miiverse -- 00:56 Wii U Updates including Virtual Console -- 07:40 Spring and Summer Games -- 18:30 The Wonderful 101 -- 18:53 Bayonetta 2 -- 20:27 New Super Smash Bros. -- 23:31 New Titles From Nintendo -- 24:11 Yarn Yoshi -- 26:56 Shin-Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem -- 27:53 The Legend of Zelda -- 29:21 Monolith Soft -- 34:01 Another The Wonderful 101 trailer (the other one is much more epic, so if you're disappointed go watch that one instead lol) Another Bayonetta 2 teaser Yoshi (oh wait, it IS a Yarn game. And here I thought it was just Good Feel making a Yoshi game, not a Yarn Yoshi game...hmm... I wonder if its just the art style, or if it will have some impact on the gameplay as well. Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem trailer X (Monolith's game, for good measure) Everything else is in the main video. Aonuma also talks about Zelda Wii U (not WW remake), and how he wants to make it less linear! I'm excited for that. GBA games are also coming to Wii U VC as well. There's also another Wii U Party game! lolHope that wasn't too intrusive lol, wall of videos. I'll catch you guys later, herpanda EDIT: Death Eye ninja'd on the Yoshi! I can't complain though, I haven't played Yoshi's island yet I'll complain after I play it lol. EDIT 2: And apparently Monolith's game is named "X".

A return to nonlinearity has been long overdue. Don't play it until you've played the new one. (It pains me to act like this even qualifies as a Yoshi game, but this is the easiest way of phrasing it.) Play the new one (ugh), form an opinion on it, and then go back and have your mind blown by how much better the original is. Unless you don't have much patience with difficult games, in which case you may have a problem, because YI gets absolutely brutal at times if you're going for 100% completion.

On the bright side, if Epic Yarn was any indication, not too long after this we'll be getting Yoshi's Return to Island (Yoshi's Story Wii U in Europe) and I'll not get it until over a year after its release. Speaking of incredibly lame half-jokes I just noticed were there to be made: EDIT 2: And apparently Monolith's game is named "X". It won't be as good as the original.

It was at least better than Epic Yarn, though. I mean, it's actually possible to fail, it pretty much has to be an improvement. ...Right?

Either way, it should be pointed out that Yoshi apparently shifts from yarn outline to 3D yarn thing upon eating a Shy Guy in the video, so this might at least have a bit more depth to it than I originally thought. Not sure what exactly it means though. Could be a buffer to avoid losing anything when you get hit, could give you some other ability, could even be a health system. (Well, okay, it couldn't possibly be that, but one can hope, I suppose.)
