O____________________O BLEGH, the two colors that I'd totally get an XL for, and they don't come to America. Europeans get all the cool stuff Admin would definitely argue otherwise Although those ARE some pretty tight colors Pikachu Yellow! Seriously! :3

THAT LOOKS AMAZING. The amount of control those guys have...is phenomenal lol. I'm guessing it's a PC game though, the speed and accuracy looks too good for a console game. If that's on a console though...even more impressed . It's been so long since I've played a decent mech game (It seems they don't like Nintendo consoles lol, or coming West), I think the last I played were Cosmic Break and SDGO (the former of which I got bored with playing UC, and the latter I was just so addicted that I had to delete it xD Rank C Zaku II, Missile type FTW! Took down so many Rank As with that Zaku). It reminds me of...Exteel? I wanted to get into that game, but when I found out about it they shut down the servers the month before so no mech hunting for me. But yeah, that was great. Awesome title too (they'd probably have to chage it if it came NAside though...ha...heh...<_<... nvm). I just can't get over how well they were controling the mechs xD so smooth and reflex friendly. Speed of the game was awesome too. Wow. And, I guess my ignorance is showing about EU xD, I guess I never miss what I...never missed? I guess. It looks like Nintendo is using EU as testing grounds now for localizing games though, so I'm a bit worried but I guess it's PAL's turn to get cool stuff...(hate region lock lol).

It's an arcade game, actually... Here's a video that shows the game being played through the arcade machine. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=P492Js_Hd3cIt doesn't seem too controls-heavy, so I think it'd be playable on a console. Although I'm not sure what the touch-pad thing is for, but I imagine they'd be able to find a way to fit it into a game controller. Still, it's Japan-exclusive, and they have no plans for any console or PC release... Although they're releasing a mobile Border Break game (and the trailer I linked is a new version of BB, like an expansion sequel I believe), I think it's like an RPG. So it seems the series is starting to become popular, and so it's possible they'll make a console/PC port eventually. But if it never leaves the arcade, we don't have a chance at all of an English release...

^The arcade machine has a mouse on it xD weird, never seen one before, but I guess my assumtion was half right lol. And...Touch screen on a controller...hmm... I know of a console that has a touch screen on the controller! That guy looks really calm though, gotta admire that. If it was me on that machine I'd be like, blghaharrg! *twitch twitch* lol.

So yeah, it's basically showing some stuff on the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 that the PS3/360 versions don't have. The Tekken Ball Mode might be a timed exclusive thing, I dunno, but I'm pretty sure all of the Nintendo costumes are exclusive to the Wii U version lol.
Anyway, it looks cool. I'm more of a Soul Calibur guy, but I got into Soul Calibur because I saw Link on the cover, so there's some brand regocnition for you. Tekken might have the same effect on me with all of the costumes, who knows.

I don't know how much I like 3D fighters... I mean, I really liked Soul Calibur (also got into the series because of Link, and dang, I miss his moveset), but these games seem to lack the precision that creates the gap between button mashers and skillful players.
It feels like it's just a big guessing game, like on SC5, characters like Siegfried and Xiba have near-instant attacks that are long range and hit low, and in general just have huge range. Ivy has some ridiculous range, and an unblockable that can only be avoided by moving backwards, but it also has huge forward range. Nightmare swings that massive long range sword as fast as Patroklos... Well, basically, there's not much of a downside to button mashing or throwing out long range attacks. The lack of mobility like a 2D fighter makes it more into a guessing game...
That's what it seemed like when I played, I played for ZWEI for many days, going into training a lot and learning his moves and combos, but at the end of the day, I would still lose to people spamming with Xiba, Nightmare, and other characters occasionally.
Although I'm not entirely sure with Tekken... Since no one has abnormally huge swords or spears, I guess there would be more room for skill. But when I played Tekken 6 on PSP (very casually) I would lose a lot of times to my friend literally button mashing with Christie or Lily.
Maybe they're just not the type of game for me, but when the same button mashing friend tries to spam or abuse attacks on Blazblue or Persona, I wreck him into next week, even when we first originally got into Blazblue and I had almost no knowledge of the characters or moves.
On another note... How's the customization on Tekken? SC5 was a huge disappointment, despite them advertising customization as a big thing, it barely had any clothes to choose from, with bad voices and like only two decent faces. The PSP Soul Calibur had at least like 3 times more to choose from...

^Yeah man, I get what you mean about button mashing. I don't really play fighters apart from SSB (where button mashing doesn't work...at ALL lol) and Soul Cal 2 (where button mashing can get you places, but range helps more lol). I used to main Ivy and she has some TROLL moves with that whip sword. Kilik isn't any better, and to top off their range, both of them have grapples that can ring out if you're hugging the side.
My first main was Raphael, and now I've gone back to him and Taki because they're more fun to play (and are more exciting than taking stabs from afar lol). And yeah, it's mostly a guessing game in most fighters I've played (sans SSB, and more recently Tatsunoku vs. Capcom. Button mashing == impossible there, impressively), but I don't really play SC competitively, but more just for some "poke poke parry" battles, which my friends and I find extremely amusing (more like how people would fight in real life with weapons, a duel if you will).
I hate memorizing button strings or really learning all of the moves only to get button mashed in the face too, so yeah I don't really play those xD, but if we do we play "pokes" using the general knowledge of attacks (which ones hit high/low, are generally fast, heavy, emphasis on blocking/parry, etc.).
as to tekken's customization, I found this video for you. It looks like you can change a lot about each character, from skipping through the video. Multiple costumes, colors, and clothe pieces it seems.
After looking at the character select for that...I'm thinking I want this game now lol. It's been a while since I've played a fighter, and I wouldn't want to miss out on one of the biggest names in fighting. Arcade is all of my Tekken experience lol, so it couldn't hurt to try it on console eventually I think.
And, as for "new" stuff goes, the Vita got this:
I played Little King's Story on the Wii for a while (but put it down because I got Skyward Sword, and I haven't got back to it yet), and it's a really good game. It looks VERY different from the Wii version though, and I'm not sure if it's a remake or a sequel, but either way I recommend it on either the Wii or Vita. Another overlooked Wii title, but it's good to see a dead franchise with some life back in it, regardless of platform.

New little king story? Nooo! Why does it have to be on the playstation vita! It's just not fair, life is too cruel. I completed the original on wii a while back. Really good game, better than skyward sword. Anyway I'm not sure what this is but I hope it's simply a remake, which it isn't...

Really good game, better than skyward sword. Anyway I'm not sure what this is but I hope it's simply a remake, which it isn't... From what I've been reading on GameFaqs, it's essentially Little King's Story 1.5, but not necessarily LKS 2. Here's what one guy said: JongJungBu posted: "One thing it is NOT is just simply a port. People say that but when you look at it, it's obviously not even without playing it. I could go with remake though. Some changes besides art? Off the top of my head... -Everyone that can come with you has experience levels (you, Princesses, citizens, animals/monsters) and equipment (couple exceptions for some immigrants) -Princesses can not only come with you and gain exp, but they each have a magic spell they can cast a # of times. -One Princess lets you recruit monsters and animals into your party and raise their levels -Lots more equipment and costume choices it seems to me -Touch control options -Alchemy, which you can match with other players, to create items, equipment, or costumes -Some new characters like Azul and the Demon King -Different storyline and multiple princess endings" So, it's an enhanced remake I guess? Lots of new things to do, more micro management, troops level up RPG style, princesses in battle...but I think it's the same world and the same bosses, enemies, etc., so yeah. I'm just gonna stick with my Wii copy though

Danball Senki W is finally out! Just as my weekend starts. I'm so happy and hyped and excited, Danball Senki is definitely one of my top 5 favorite games and the new one looks amazing. I was a little doubtful that it wouldn't be very different, but I looked at the main site and gameplay on this video, so many additions to gameplay, including coloring the mech parts! www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4M_781UVBY(If you really only wanna see the actual gameplay, skip to about 1:14) Also, because I'm hypecited, I'll post this other video here, too. It's a nifty stop-motion video, ending with a little gameplay. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YgqTKCVkrtcAir combos, recovery roll, non-special-attack transforming, completely new HUD, air dash, new weapon attacks, new specials, some sidescroller mode, new bosses that look like Monster Hunter quality... I'm off to play now. The happiest weekend ever.Edit... YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING THE WHOLE GAMEPLAY IS COMPLETELY REFINED AND FEELS SO MUCH SMOOTHER AND THE MELEE MECHANICS ARE CHANGED AND TRANSFORMING MECHS CAN TRANSFORM AND FLY AS AN AIR DASH AND THERE'S SLIDING PHYSICS IF YOU SHOOT WHILE BOOSTING AND THE MELEE RANGE CAMERA IS ALL DYNAMIC AND THE MUSIC AND THE HUD AND JUMP/BOOST ARE SEPARATE BUTTONS NOW I JUST FINISHED THE TUTORIAL BATTLE THIS IS THE GAME OF MY LIFE

I'll have to look into those links later, it sounds fun, and sounds even more similar to GF's gameplay (with air dashing and sliding and shooting). Keiji Inafune and Team Ninjas: I wouldn't care for a zombie game, but Inafune's name popped out at me. Interesting. I like the art direction. "Comcept officially announced Keiji Inafune's zombie game Yaiba today, though it declined to offer much in the way of detail, as we still have no idea of platforms, release window, or even how the game actually works.
According to creator Keiji Inafune, it's inspired in part by fan feedback. "There are so many zombie games out there, yet people ask me for a new Inafune zombie game. I am grateful for people's respect for me as the 'zombie game creator' and to fulfill that I must answer their expectations with YAIBA."
Those expectations are being fulfilled with a concept of "zombies with action, ninjas and mechs." Get an idea of Comcept's concept in this stylish (but bloody) teaser video. "

Ace Attorney 5. (in other news, Layton vs. Wright is also coming West, but I'm less excited for that , now, I'll see ya'll later, I gotta study.)

^THAT 3D ANIMATION! ;D Being a highly biased Apollo Justice fan, though, I'm a bit disappointed he and Trucy (presumably) aren't making a comeback I mean I appreciate the Phoenix crew but ... but ... we're not going to find out more about all the spoilerific spoilers in the last game then? D:
