^even if it is a real game, the way things look I think they're trying to troll Inafune regardless lol. You have to admit, that's probably the LEAST sensitive title right now xD.
But yeah, I think those are similar to chips or something, like njay suggested. Maybe cards? So maybe it's one of those card/chip attacks, and they just have pictures of megaman stuff in there. Like the MM card could be "thunder attack!", or maybe it's an equip that gives MM thunder attributes or raises his stats or something. A cross over would be cool though, but I don't think they'd make something that cool for iOS...
or..would they? hmm..
@kazu, ah, I see, thanks. I was comparing the actual megaman people together (not that wolf spectre thing), and Starforce almost looks like NT Megaman with his hair spiked up or something lol, so I didn't know.

Bandwagon? I think it's much more than that. They canceled the Mega Man MMO they were making, they canceled Mega Man Legends 3 and blamed the fans for not being 'involved enough' (it was easily one of the most hyped up games, and when the news got out it started a massive riot that still exists). Capcom seems to have ignored the countless petitions that got thousands of supporters, and wasn't there an 'official' petition that reached its goal, yet went ignored? 'Become a servbot,' or the like. They wanted at least 25,000 supporters, and got over 100,000. Now that page is gone. And people are still signing petitions for it. It seems like one of the most wanted games of all time, and Capcom just gives us the cold shoulder and says it's our fault. They didn't include Mega Man in Marvel vs. Capcom, and they didn't include him in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom which added tons of characters, yet he's in the character select background, in the background of a stage (in a pretty insulting way), and two characters have a Mega Man alternate costume. One is Zero (not too bad), and the other is, Frank West... media.eventhubs.com/images/2011/10/13_megaman.jpg

^if it makes it any better, X was confirmed a few months ago for that Project X Zone game I think. I'm pretty sure. So, at least Megaman isn't entirely forgotten...(I made a servbot for that thing too >_> it looked like a real online petition that would actually mean something lol, but I guess not. Speaking of which, Gotcha Force doesn't even have a group on Capcom Unity! We should make one!). And, that poster always gave me the chuckles lol. It leaves you wondering, will he be apprehended, or slain?

X is in Project X Zone, along with Zero. But it's a massive crossover game, so it's nothing really significant... And we're getting this half-hearted iOS game. It's hard to tell anything about it now, but it almost seems like an 'on rails' shooter. The first clip says 'Auto=Play' near the top. I don't know if it's an option or an indication, but it's clearly one of those 'automatic run, just jump and shoot' games at that point.
The second clip against Storm Eagle has a button labeled "SKIP." I'm not sure what this is... AI battle, I thought at first, but it has two shot buttons on the other side (no jump button now?). My point is, from this video, it seems we won't really control movement, only to an extent...
EDIT: I just remembered, Mega Man was the #1 (IIRC, at least top 3) most requested character for Ultimate MvC, according to an official poll on Capcom. They said he wasn't wanted enough compared to other characters to add into the game.

Bandwagon? I think it's much more than that. *valid points* Just because it's a bandwagon doesn't mean it's wrong, and just because it's not wrong doesn't make it not a bandwagon. Or maybe it does, I don't know. Point is, everybody proceeds to get on Capcom's case about killing off Mega Man any time they do something that makes it look like that's what they're doing. Which they should, because Capcom has been incredibly stupid lately and they deserve all the criticism they're getting, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a bit bandwagon-esque of a behavior. The first clip says 'Auto=Play' near the top. I don't know if it's an option or an indication, but it's clearly one of those 'automatic run, just jump and shoot' games at that point. The second clip against Storm Eagle has a button labeled "SKIP." DAMN YOU, CAPCOM! GET YOUR MODERN GAME FEATURES OUT OF MY MEGAMAN! ...COME TO THINK OF IT, GET THAT IOS S*** OUT OF HERE, TOO!

What's more, the title is Rockman: OVER. Over as in, dead Normally I'd be the first to jump on the They Killed Mega Man Bandwagon TM, but no, that's not what it is. Note the X and the presence of Storm Eagle at about 0:41. It's clearly a crossover of some sort. well in a lot of japanese games and stuff, X tends to mean "cross," so if the title actually means Megaman Crossover, then you could be onto something there. i'd have to see what the gameplay is actually like before making an opinion, but right now i'm really wanting Corrupt instead of Xover.

But... It is a crossover. Didn't you notice all the Mega Mans at around 0:09?
On another note, anyone hyped up for Danball Senki W? ... ... ... No one? It's not even slated for an English release, but these games are so fun... And really simple to understand, I played through the first one without being able to read at all. The gameplay and customization is so fun.

*thinks about everything you guys just said* I get it now lol. @de By "Notice the X" I thought you meant X as in Megaman. I've also been mispronouncing Project 'Cross' zone. Cool, that's some Japanese style that I can figure out in another game later lol. and, I thought the group shot at 9 sec was just a little 25th annivesary "reuinion" of sorts, to make it look nice lol (even if that particular shot was missing Volnutt . So it is a crossover then... Nice catch on the controls Claxus. I wonder how the boss battles will go? Only time will tell... Indigo, Danbal Seiki is that little brawler fighter game? I remember people saying it was a lot like GF, is that true past the mini-robos?

Well, the gameplay is totally different of course, but when I think about it, all of the basics are the same. You have a slowish normal run, and you can boost, limited with a boost meter, and you can sidestep to avoid attacks (also a very restricted air dash).
The combat plays out depending on what weapons you use. Generally, ranged and melee, with lots of different types of each with different movesets (handguns, machine guns, snipers, rockets, sword, lance, axe, etc.) You can equip two weapon sets at a time. Also, the game has special attacks, which can be thrown out randomly (and dodged) or used in melee combos, and super attacks that take a while to charge but can be canceled by being attacked enough during the charge.
Again, if you look at the concept and controls of battle, it is pretty similar, but the game 'physics' are completely different, and it's more melee-centric with more melee attacks and combos. Boosting and attacking drain the tension bar, so it makes it less spammy. Guns do less damage the closer you are, and can be dodged easily, but they hurt a lot more than melee if they do hit from a good range.
Well, just look for yourself if you haven't already:

^thanks, yeah it does look pretty similar, but a little slower. The music at the end reminded me that there's also the Gundam Vs. series on the PSP, maybe I should get an old psp somwhere and import some of these games lol. That also reminds me that Gundam 3D battle didn't come Westside <_< too bad the 3DS is region locked lol.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge (Wii U)
kind of old news, but there's new gameplay footage. For those that don't know, Ninja Gaiden 3 is being "remastered" in a sense on the Wii U, Team Ninja is re-programming the enemy AI, adding gore/dismemberment back, adding more weapon types, adding Ayane as a playable character, just remaking the overall gameplay, etc., and it looks pretty cool. I only ever played the NES games, but for those interested in a "real" Ninja Gaiden 3, if you will, here's a short trailer.
(note, I skipped the first 26 seconds. No need for butt butts here lol. *preview* and oh crud, it looks like butt butt is the preview image anyway, oh well.).
edit: <_< looks like the time skip youtube mechanic doesn't work on proboards. It's not too bad anyway.

Are remakes the thing now? I swear, more games this year have been remakes than actual new games... Well, I'm not a fan of overly violent games, but it seems like it's a pretty good upgrade. I've really only played the NES ones, and the demo of one of the PS2 ones for like 5 minutes. Maybe DMC (the new one makes me cry) has spoiled me though, I no longer find any other beat'em ups appealing.

^In this case, I think it's just Nintendo trying to grab the "hardcore" crowd back with a "mature" title. They're funding them to rebuild the game, and while personally I feel they could be spending that money elsewhere (like, on a new IP, or reviving one of their old, dead ones, or even recent dead ones, like F-Zero and Custom Robo), it's nice to know that the fans of the NG series will get a decent version of NG3 lol. Ninty is also funding Bayonetta 2, so yeah. Just trying to grab the mature audience I think. but yeah, too many remakes. Personally, I don't mind old ports (as the budgets are relatively lower, and I prefer playing games how they were originally), but remakes and remasterings and what not seem like wastes of resources to me when they can be funding new stuff. In other news, Humble Bundle timeYou guys getting Humble Indie Bundle 6? www.humblebundle.com/Humble Bundles are "pay your own price" kind of deals, so you can get them for a cent if you wanted. But, if you pay more than average, you can get bonus games, which are usually the games that get me to buy them lol. For those interested, the games this time around are: -Rochard -Shatter -S.P.A.Z. -Torchlight -Vessel *and these are bonus: -DustForce -Bit.Trip Runner -Gratuitous Space Battles -JamesTown -Wizorb I've gotten a few bundles, and this one isn't all that great in comparison to the ones I got, but if you're interested in indie games on your computer (PC, Mac, and Linux compatible)

^It is, but you have to pay at least $1 to get the Steam Keys (some people were abusing it by getting a bunch of keys for one cent, so they raised it to a dollar). After you buy, you get a download link where you can get your Steam keys, or just download it from them directly. From there, you can choose your platform and which games/soundtracks you want to download. Also, Nintendo confirmed the official Wii U Launch Lineup. Here's the link from Gamespot: www.gamespot.com/news/wii-u-launching-with-23-games-6397199And a short lineup video from IGN: and here's the list for convenience (for North America) November 18: Call of Duty: Black Ops II Skylanders Giants Transformers Prime Wipeout 3 Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two FIFA Soccer 13 Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition New Super Mario Bros. EU and Australia Launch: Nov 30 Japan Launch: Dec 8 I don't know about you guys, but this has got to be one of the best launches. Who cares if there are bunches of ports, most are GOOD games anyway, ports or not. Too many games being released between now and March LOL, that might stab them in the back, but I'm looking forward to Pikmin, Rayman, and the Wonderful 101 .......when I get one...eventually...(when SSB comes out)

I see at least 3 games on that list that I legitimately want. That's a rare occurrence these days. From what I've read the customization systems of the game make it possible to play without a single gun of your own, forcing you to rely on guns from the environment in exchange for the option to have, like, half a dozen perks. That is in all likelihood the single greatest thing I've ever seen in any CoD game. ...Still not getting it, but I really like the idea of it.

^which 3? Now that I'm looking at it a second time, I'm thinking 6 of em lol: Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, The Wonderful 101, Scribblenauts Unlimited, NintendoLand, and Little Inferno Too many games for me to buy lol, but I'd probably get NintendoLand first for the multiplayer. By the time I'd be done with those, Monster Hunter Ultimate 3 would have come out in NA (in March), and I heard that's another huge timesink game. Not enough time to play everything lol. ----------- So...Black and White 2 are coming out on Sunday, who's thinking about it? I WAS considering them, but considering that I got bored out of my mind after the 7th gym in White, I'm deciding against it.

I forget what exactly was going through my head at the time, but NSMBU is obviously one of them. If I ever get around to finding myself a copy of Pikmin 2 I'm going to want to get Pikmin 3 and probably play all three games consecutively at some point, so there's that. My siblings with money got massively into the first Skylanders (to the point where we have 31 of the characters), and I found it mildly entertaining (if a bit lacking in depth), so the sequel is definitely a thing to get. And it'll be substantially better, since I'm pretty sure they're including difficulty levels, and I tend to be a fan of higher difficulty levels. Assuming Arkham City doesn't have some annoying motion control gimmicks on the Wii U I'll probably want to get that (or at the very least rent it), if Arkham Asylum was any indication of what to expect. Lego City looks like it might be fun, and I enjoyed what I've played of the other Lego games (except the Harry Potter one, for whatever reason), so that might also be a thing to get. ZombiU looks like it might possibly incorporate some of the cool elements of every serious roguelike I've played for more than two hours (it's a short list), but that's more likely to be one of those games I rent at some point simply because it piques my interest rather than an actual purchase. And it probably won't turn out like I hope it will anyway. And the rest of that list I either don't know about, don't care about, or didn't notice. It's Pokémon with hard mode and they're giving away Genesect. I think you know whether or not I'm getting it.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate footage (Wii U/3DS - All regions) Want -3 3DSs can connect to Wii U for 4 player local -4 3DS can connect to each other for multiplayer -Saves are transferable between the Wii U and 3DS version, so you can move it back and forth as needed -new content. I'm not sure exactly what, but I heard they added more weapons, armor, and 50 monster types or something (up from the previous 18). The added content and local co-op is what's keeping me from buying the Wii version, can't wait lol, co-op console rpgs are few and far between, I think the last one I played was Crystal Chronicles on the GC? Maybe Symphonia...I dunno lol. _________________ EU is getting two new 3DSXL colors on November 16th this year White 3DSXL (with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed) Pikachu Yellow 3DSXL O____________________O BLEGH, the two colors that I'd totally get an XL for, and they don't come to America. Europeans get all the cool stuff
