Yeah, I knew about The 2C JC cancel, although I didn't know that I had to hop. I'd been trying it constantly in practice but I didn't know how it was supposed to work, so thanks. I knew about the buffs, too, That's why I always tried to use Heat Riser over Vorpal Blade in most instances. Wait... where did you get experience fighting Adachi? I notice you had a lot of player matches under your belt, you never talk about those. It doesn't matter though, evidently my Minazuki needs some practice if he's getting beaten so badly at just about everything. And yeah Steve wasn't being silly calling Ken High tier. He wasn't listed as S tier on LK's list, but Ken was still high tier. EDIT: MOON SMASHER. I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT MOON SMASHER. I didn't mean it!Seriously, Moon Smasher's input is 214214A/B and the rekkas are 214A/B. I haven't grown used to playing Minazuki in awakening, especially not with meter, so when I finally get momentum towards the end of the match and it looks like I'm finally going to get a 3K+ combo off of you, I immediately screw up the Rekkas after 5C and throw it all away with a stupid, stupid moonsmasher. It's awful. I hate Moonsmasher so much.

I knew Ken's high tier, I was just wondering where Steve has been researching since he kind of came in here almost like he had the game. Most characters are great in any case, only 5 are below A-.
The player matches are from someone I know. They happened to have the game, too, and we played a lot. He played Adachi exclusively, and I kind of saw him develop over the days and did some studying myself to help them out. I think they quit now though, haven't seen them for a while.
I'm pretty used to inputs being intertwined though, the characters I played on Blazblue had mixed inputs like that. Bang has a 236B, 3236B, 236A, 236236A... And other weird inputs all over the place.
Well, I thought the Moon Smashers were on purpose, since you occasionally do use random supers, mostly with Marie, or Minazuki's blade waves, which at least is more safe. But intentional or not Moon Smasher is pretty scary. 4k+ on counter, and it can cross-up if I'm not careful. At least it's not like Sho's, his is air unblockable and can be OMC'd. I think I may learn Sho as a secondary, he felt pretty good for my playstyle. Or Aigis.

I always use Minazuki's blade waves on purpose, and I always use Marie's card super on purpose. Her shell of denial is often something I pull out accidentally though, trying to do the purse slam, but unlike moonsmasher it's much safer.

Just fought my first Minazuki in ranked, he had nearly double my PSR... At the very end of the match, I burst out laughing (Practically in tandem with Minazuki himself). I look forward to watching that back later. EDIT: Should probably mention that I received a message reading 'GOOD MINAZUKI' before the after battle quote had finished. I should also mention that I fought a Marie for the very first time. I'm so sorry Claxus. Is there any way I can repay you for all the j.Cs... do you want me to pick Marie and rhythmically use j.C just so that you can bat it away using Junpei's DP? How many times do you think we'd need to do that for me to repent for my sins against humanity? The player could barely combo past 2K meterless (Although she did reveal that the card super is much more easily chain able than I initially believed) and she barely used anything else other than normals (No D normals of course, she couldn't mix it up with a few light arrows) and j.C. Those swirling lights will be in my nightmares. MINAZUKI! DP! DP! YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! WHY WONT YOU DEEEEPPEEEEEEEE!!!

Honestly I'm pretty alright with Marie's dive now. One of those things you learn to play against... If she's in the air you know to be ready, and react to the Persona appearing. 2Bs beat it, too, but her trajectory is weird and it's difficult for characters with mediocre 2Bs like Junpei. Or you can just evasive roll. On the other hand, you should be apologizing for mashing out with her ginormous normals, which are what pain me the most... Aside from that Minazuki's probably more annoying... The teleport disrespects so much, and he can start combos with his instant full-screen Persona with it. They're harder to react to, too. His 5A is on par with Marie's but cancels with virtually no gap... And his DP sets up perfectly into a safe jump, rather than just resetting pressure, he gains the lead off of it. Evil all-out-attack, too... But mostly the teleports. I've started to work on instant blocking though, it actually let me break out and counter your blockstrings a few times. And right at the end I started trying option selects. Worked beautifully. So that's how true high level play is... When blocking high and you think they may try to grab, just inputting C+D while holding back either will continue blocking, tech a non-command grab, or grab them as they run up to you. Same works with blocking low, though you don't grab from a crouch, so no harm in just pressing C+D if they may cancel into a grab. But if it's a command grab, you can do the hop input, and if they drop pressure to grab you'll hop, avoiding it, otherwise you'll just keep blocking. It's basically a whole set of logic for covering multiple options at once. The best players aren't just teching throws with godlike reflexes, they just are doing inputs while blocking to maximize their defense in safe ways according to what they expect. Option select... And instant blocking. Good stuff. So anyway. Aigis is best Waifu, sorry Yu. Aigis has been incredibly difficult to learn... She doesn't actually have any combos without Orgia, and her inputs in general are very different than others. Come to think of it I wanted to play her in Arena, but avoided her for being top tier. Can't go much higher than Yu at this point though. Still, Aigis s extremely fun to play. She's like Bullet who has to 'heat up' for combos and mobility. At the same time, Orgia is like a built in Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan, giving her free movement in any direction at blinding speed, and has projectiles that run out like Bang's nails but give tons if coverage. 120 ammo at that, which drains in multiples of 10 generally, 12 nails much? Oh, and whatthewhat she got DAIFUNKA in this game?! Bullet had her own carry-across-screen move, too. She seriously feels very similar to Bang and Bullet as one character. Not just the gimmicks, but her mobility and rushdown playstyle aided with some long range poking, and combo heavy. I sucked with her, but it's been taking a lot to learn her moveset and basic combos as it is, and controlling her speed. Despite her status she seems pretty respectable for how complex she is to play, and she's not all that popular. She gas great tools I neglected like 2B which easily could eat teleports. Orgia mode is what makes her scary and top tier... She can cancel virtually anything into boost, so she can confirm off anything and make up ridiculous blockstrings and cross-up. I failed to use her j.C which is about as good as Adachi's and central to her game. Speaking of which, Athena is really cool, giant shield and spear and all, countering if you attack. Interestingly Aigis has a secret Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan technique. 150 meter, overheated Orgia, out of ammo, and Persona broken... MEIKYO SHISUI ORGIA MODE, she just replenishes everything and goes into Orgia with extra benefits I think. Don't think I'll ever save 150 meter with my desire to DAIFUNKA. Awesome command grab, but it's air only so the input is weird and needs a few frames to jump (2352369A) and you can crouch it if you see the flash. Anyway, time to start some practicing with instant blocking and option selects, before Minazuki blockstrings and grabs overtake me. I've never gotten this deep into fighting games...

I've never gotten this deep either, although you definitely seem to know what you're doing more than I am, at least, I've never heard of this 'option select' stuff before, though it sounds interesting. I'm really glad I can push you to the point that you want to learn all this stuff though. You do great anyway, but luckily I have some annoying moves and high damaging combos which put you on your guard.
But yeah your Aigis needs work, and I've honestly fought an Aigis in ranked who gave me more trouble (although you definitely picked up towards the end, especially when you started using the unblockable(?) air super). I think you need to be more aggressive with your long range game, and maybe use Athena a little better because she was never really a problem for me.
EDIT: I just remembered that you can play extreme orgia mode Aigis during the story mode. I thought that was a boss mode or something.
I'm going to see if I can't pull out even more damage by learning some one more burst combos, though apparently blocking blockstrings is going to become much more difficult in the future... I need to learn how to use Minazuki's command grab better. You can go 2A once and go immediately into the grab with no forward input. More than one 2A or any other attack and you will need to go forward to confirm the command grab. I'll probably have to go forward to use 2A anyway though, considering how I usually structure my blockstrings.

Daifunka is an unblockable command grab super, yeah. If I catch you in the air you're screwed, but it can be crouched on the ground. It's a pretty powerful tool, but can't be used in pressure, since it's air only. I have to do 2362369A or hop and do it, both of which need a few frames. And being an aerial super it's fairly difficult to do it on the spot, I usually have to predict a jump-in to use it as anti-air. Unfortunately it can't be used in combos either, being a command grab. Still, dat lunging range and screen-carry.
Aigis' instakill is aerial only. It seems pretty lethal however... An aerial instakill, it starts up pretty fast and she shoots her vulcans diagonally down which can reach across the map. But really, Bang astral finish much? Athena impales them with the spear and they keep flying horizontally, Aigis gets a face close-up while charging a massive beam cannon and deals a finishing blow while they're stuck. And it's aerial only like Bang's. Aigis can chain 3 supers together to do huge burst damage, which feels a lot like Bullet's 3-part super. Her Daifunka is a command grab super like Bullet has... While I'm at it, Orgia mode gets a flaming wheel attack which is a bit like Bullet's lock-on in the huge AoE around her, and it's crucial to ending/starting all her combos.
All the similarities are too much.
But still, I'm pretty terrible with her, I'd hope someone in ranked could do better than me, I didn't even know what I was doing half the time. At the same time I'm starting to think she'll be my main. I'm feeling a little more confident now with some more practice and a grip on all her moves, it's just her muscle memory is all over the place. Her long range game is good but it's more for being annoying or charging up Orgia mode or poking since they're laggy moves, plus saving her ammo is important, especially for her 2B which sweeps the screen with bullets, and her autocombo gatling which, surprisingly, is very important for her despite being part of an autocombo. Her anti-air bouncy mortar is also really good, but overall the problem was the teleports and the ground-lurking Persona. The moment I try to zone, I start getting combo'd out of nowhere. Once I'm in Orgia, Macross Missile Massacre is much better though, not consuming ammo, and it flies back while shooting.
By the way, I hate DLC. Why are there never any pictures of anything? I've searched and searched but there's nothing to be found about the new alternate colors. I really want to see what those look like, but I'm not buying them blindly.

Yeah, I want to see them as well. Even if you buy the DLC, you don't get all the colours though. I think 25-30 are japanese famitsu exclusive. Didn't you buy Yu's glasses? I could swear I saw you using them, but I haven't really been paying attention.
What annoys me is that there are no individual DLC packs for Europe, other than songs and characters, and the Navigators are split into two sets. If I want to have anyone else narrate my matches other than Rise, like, for example, Fuuka, I have to pay the full £9 for a pack of all the navigators in the original arena, or £15 if I want all the new ones. I can't simply pay a buck for the one I would actually want to use. And no, screw score attack, I can't even get close to beating it once on Risky, let alone 4 times. And yeah, I have to pay £5 for all the colours or all the glasses, too, so I can't pick up those swagilicious shades for Minazuki for anything less than a dumb price. Thankfully buying DLC characters gives you all the colours and the glasses for that character with no extra hassle.
Yeah, I recommend practicing with Aigis, try ranked or something. You'll either get a challenge or combo practice. I can't play today. I guess I'm tired, since my hands couldn't be bothered to move with much energy when I tried golden arena today. Just one of those days I guess.

I had two dollars lingering on my account for the longest time, since the PSN is so fond of $5+ increments only, and finally had found something good to spend that on, Yu's glasses, that is. On the 360 original I had Yosuke's color and glasses pack, which is a shame because his packs include Aigis.
Those full-packs are really worth it though, it's half the price than buying them all individually. Interestingly enough. the USA store doesn't have a full pack for colors, though. Because of the PSN 5 dollar rule though, I once again have leftovers, enough to buy two individual packs, so I'm really tempted... Maybe I'll shell for Yosuke/Aigis glasses since she gets that super badawesome combat visor, but I reaaally want to know what I'd be buying with colors. Basically I just want a new green hair color, and I'm not spending for a Big Gamble on that, especially considering two of them are the filler offline black/gold ones.
The Famitsu colors are great, it sucks that we're once again left without those. Well, I was mostly fond of Ken's because he keeps the brown hair and gets a nice red/maroon suit, but I don't play him anymore.
Why is Aigis so technical? Her BnB Orgia combo is (j.B) > 2A > 5B > Sweep > 66 > j.B > 5A > 5B > j.B > j.B > j.C > j.236D > Carefully timed 5B
It's pressing a different button and direction every other attack in very short succession, and the sweep into Orgia Boost j.B is a little weird and very timing strict. Super fun to pull off though, I got it down for the most part.

EDIT: SCRATCH EVERYTHING DOWN THERE, I FOUND THISI was looking over the three DLC colours I have for 3 of the characters, and I noticed a pattern. Margaret seems to buck some trends, but I assume this will mostly hold over for the other characters. The DLC colours gives you 19-24, 30 and 31 are worthless. (Actually, Magatsu Izanagi 30 looks pretty cool) 19 is a light greenish colour (like, almost white), with some dark green/brown. It looks a bit like a military camo colour on Marie. This was the only green hair one I saw on the characters, so, yeah. 20 is a sugar rush. Basically light blues and pinks, though Marie has far too many colours. Doesn't look good. 21 is a but like 20, the dominant colours are blue and red, but it uses darker shades and fewer colours, and overall looks much better than 20. I actually wouldn't mind using this colour. 22 is a red/black colour that looks pretty cool. For Adachi, 22 would be my second choice. 23 is the velvet room colour, so basically blue/black and white hair to make you look like Liz, Marge, or Theo. Think of 22 like a red version of 23. I use 23 on Adachi. I think 23 is the best colour of the DLC sets, although Margaret gets a purpleish colour which is just ok, but she and Liz would be exceptions I assume. Lastly, 24 is an orange/purple colour. It looks ok actually, but there are better ones. But maybe someone has a really cool looking 24. Not sure how those will look on Aigis or anyone else, but hopefully those were helpful.

Al what's happened to your defense lately Oh, right. Your pressure is very good these days but I don't think you blocked a single time today. Well, that's an exaggeration but even then, it was rarely for more than a second or two before you got hit to basic blockstrings or just mashed out with 5A or DP. And on wakeup... Nearly every time was 5A or DP. I could barely do anything with Aigis because I'm still not sure how to utilize her blockstrings and was getting DP'd so much. I mean, if something works, I don't care how much people abuse a tactic, but it was just a joke when I switched to Yu and simply stood there baiting DPs or using safe-jumps (landing some air attacks with enough active frames (Yu j.B), to coincide on wake-up frame 1 so you get hit if you try to DP). I almost want you to go back to Blazblue with Relius so you learn a real strong defense and stop getting ruined by this game's overly-promoted DP gameplay. I try to play without DPs except for hard-punishes on certain moves, and it's gotten me a long way in just sitting there blocking everything you throw, only now I just have trouble finding a good chance to break out. That in mind, it's time for me to start remembering GUARD CANCEL ATTACKS, but the instant blocking gave me some punishes today, too. Still, I'm kind of disappointed... "Come on, you should be better than this."On another note, I read Minazuki is Aigis' worst matchup... And it makes sense, even though I believed it couldn't be all that bad. I was wrong, 2B doesn't beat his teleport, not on reaction. Her 2B has no head-invulnerability (which is what makes most 2Bs beat out most air approaches without getting hit) so she just gets hit. Same with the final hit of Minazuki's rekka where he slashes down in the air, sometimes I do 2Bs in that gap but it doesn't work with Aigis... Minazuki's range dominates her as she has some of the smallest range attacks in the game, though her j.C is on par with Adachi's, it still gets outranged by j.Bs and Persona broken easily. I felt like I knew what I was doing this time at least, but she's still hard to control and confirm her combos on a whim. Also, thanks for that find on the colors. Glad I didn't buy them... The white/green one is really nice though, with brown hair, can't help but think MARU when I see it. reminds me of Rinne no Lagrange... There's also the Miku colors for Aigis which look great, but the one that actually has green hair is... That crazy clown crap.

Ahh sorry. Sometimes in the heat of a moment I quickly justify my DPing and wake-up choices in something which I will, in the spur of the moment, call the 'rock, rock, rock' tactic.
Basically, say we play a game of rock paper scissors, I choose rock, and you choose paper. Next match, I think to myself that you wont possibly expect me to go rock again, so you'll choose either scissors or rock. I go for rock again, and there's a good chance you'll be caught out by this line of thinking a second or third time. By the fourth time however, you've caught onto the fact that I'll always choose rock, so from then on you'll always elect to bait my DP- I mean, paper my rock. That was probably obvious to you though...
Online, it seems to work really well, especially since a lot of players I run into have even worse defense than I did today. On the other hand, I can always justify myself by saying that I'm not used to Aigis' blockstrings yet, and you've fought Minazuki so much at this point that you probably have answers to most of his pressure variables. I did TRY to block at some points, but you usually caught me out on the second hit so it didn't really matter.

To be fair, I don't think you block Aigis. Like, no one does. Once she's in Orgia, she has by far the best mix-up and cross-up in the game. She can cancel nearly anything into an Orgia Boost, which is itself cancelable by any attack. In short, she can do stuff like 5A > 5B> Sweep> 66 > j.A/j.B. She does a blockstring and can instantly convert from the ground into an air-dashing overhead. It's nearly impossible to deal with for extended durations, it's a mix-up onslaught for as long as she drains the ORgia meter with each boost. But for starters, always block low when she's not in Orgia, and if she tries to jump cancel into an aerial there's too much of a gap. And just try to react to all-out-attacks. They're universally 34~ frames, which is enough time to react to if you're focused well enough in your defense. Even though Sho's has dirty range and crossup... Well, overall they're considered to be not very good, because you'll probably never hit an experienced player with them, much like I've gotten used to the empty teleports, and blocking other character's AoAs on reaction.
Anyway, in Orgia it becomes incredibly difficult to block her, you have to predict, really. She can do lows and highs whenever she wants in a flash, and there's proper ways for her to do it that you can't DP. Not only that, she could bait DPs with her air A+B, which is a very fast air dash boost with invincibility, that crosses to the opponent's other side. And... She can tri-jump. IAD > Downforward. She does a very quick boosting motion where she jumps over you and boosts back down behind you, allowing for near instant cross-up. Her pressure is kind of weak to mashing out or DPs, but a good Aigis player definitely has strong options against that. Also you could escape sometimes with evasive rolls, but like with any character, you have to be careful of not just getting punished during its recovery afterwards.
When she's in Orgia mode, basically you want to avoid her gaining momentum, or otherwise try to guess her mix-up for as long as you can so she has less Orgia meter to do damage with. Without Orgia she's completely defenseless outside of poking and j.Cs, and no way to escape pressure besides DP. Also all her combos won't do any more than 1500.
... Still, I feel much more clear-minded with Yu. I don't even do anything that does over 2.8k with him which is what he's notorius for (easy 3.5k/4.5k+) and I tend to win much more easily than any other character simply because of my neutral game.
I wonder, am I actually better with characters who play more calmly? On Smash I've done the craziest comebacks or reads with Marth... I know back when I played Jin I did pretty good with him since he was basically that game's Yu in playstyle. Though Bang fits that bill in his own ninja way, too. Even though I did great with Bullet, I also got blown up too many matches...
... I'm starting to miss Blazblue.

I am a Shadow... The true, clear-mirror, still-water self. I think I may miss Shadows, because they're much more similar now, and are dangerously close to being even better than their counterparts. But only time will tell... I'll just main whichever is the lesser version. For now it's back to S. Yu, I realize how much I miss forming my own combos and tactics with Frenzy-Ka-Zan. And I find it's better for my playstyle, when half the time I win or lose a round I was sitting on 150sp, or tend to dump it all at once the other half. Aigis... Is amazing, but I think her playstyle isn't quite cutting it for me. I think I've gone a long way in playing her, but she's more of a technical character. I think I'm better with characters who focus on good neutral and mindgames rather than speed and mixup... I'll keep at it though, I was able to beat Minazuki a few times this time.
Your game was back with some good blocking, and much more effectively selective DPs. Less empty teleporting and more use of spacing tools, command grabs and mixup... Just the wakeup 5As gotta go. And maybe the random supers.
Margaret was interesting. Though not particularly threatening I felt, my HP always ended up very low... She has short but powerful combos? I've never actually seen her before. But it almost felt like a mirror match when I played Yu because they both have some similar, versatile options. Your Adachi was good, too, considering I lost some rounds while I probably know him well enough to pick up and play.
Don't ask why I'm posting this now.

Been playing Adachi a lot in the Golden Arena. I beat the Golden arena with him. At this point I consider him a full on sub, maybe even a joint main with Minazuki. I don't know many damaging combos with Adachi, but he's so good at getting random damage, not to mention the buffs, that it doesn't matter quite as much. Minazuki and Marie's 5A has spoiled me though, I keep using it on Adachi expecting to get a hit and missing.
You've seen Lord Knight's Margaret. Margaret has just as long combos as anyone else, I just suck with her, and I used her today mostly just because I could, even though I know no actual combos with her, and I don't know how to use her many neutral tools properly. I really want to learn Margaret but I just can't wrap my head around her. I think I'm going to have to start using heavy use of online tutorials, because she has a really unique playstyle and it feels pretty cool using her. Of course, her 5A would ruin me even more, since it probably has the most range of any 5A in the game.

Wow, how does someone play better when they're using a character they can barely use. I mean, auto combos aside, I also noticed that at at least one point I saw you trying to teleport, but you used the command grab instead... that was depressing to watch. But it's still Minazuki, who I've only ever learned to play, not fight. I've only ever fought one other Minazuki, who I don't remember using a single attack before both rounds were over. So empty DPs and teleports are going to catch me out because I never learned to respond to them, since you DP faaaaar less when you're using other characters. I really should learn to bait bursts and DPs properly. Obviously you still understand the fundamentals of blocking Minazuki's pressure and mixup, which I think is what saved you, and embarrassed me immensely. But hey I perfected shadow Yu and I dropped far less combos than usual, so there's a plus. Stick to regular Aigis, you never used any shadow combos with her so it was just worthless. I kind of wanted to fight her at some point. I had a good time using Sho and Aki today. I might learn them both in more depth, but I'll still keep using Adachi now and then. I've never really played a fighting game, besides maybe Smash Bros, where I've wanted to learn so many different characters. EDIT: Oh hey I found this. It's a funny.

I feel robbed. Minazuki clashing 4 DPs...?
I was mostly sandbagging today, I dunno why. And trolling with Minazuki mashing and teleports and DPs. Partially to get some vengeance... I never even used him before and learned right there on the go. And trolled with SP Moon Smasher. Who's decision was it to make an instant reversal super do more than a 150sp or Shadow Frenzy combo? I can see why so many people hate him, though. I felt so cheesy playing him, with that his range and built-in pressure and cross-up and teleports... I mean, I know you don't know how to fight him, but you still know how he plays, I won those matches purely on the mashing, autocombos and teleports. And pressing 214214AB one round. I won because of the character and his Marvel antics. No offense. I just wouldn't play him personally, most of the time I already feel like I win just because I'm Yu and he takes a little more to learn and play neutral.
I should have gotten more serious though, since you were starting to do new stuff with your blockstrings. I have no idea what to do now if you don't do the jumping strike, he just slashes forever and I can't even DP during any of it, and everything he does gives him frame advantage... Though maybe 5C/5D(?) has a gap when you use it in a string. I almost caught some command grabs with my own grab, if only they were techable... But at least you weren't doing it off 2A. I should just try jabbing or hopping instead when I see you run in.
Oh, I realized earlier, normal Yu can basically do the Shadow combo. Cross Slash into his sword thrust super is something he can naturally do, and with the 20% damage buff, just that segment does more than my Shadow super trinity combo. With 150sp, he can do the last OMC in the corner and do 5C > 2C > 214B instead of OMC into Ziodyne, which will do 5300.
I want to get better with Aigis, but I dunno. I could barely even stand up against Akihiko. Though in my defense that was partly because your 5A/DP wake-ups kept getting me every time, I'm still not sure how to attack wake-ups safely with her. And also because of that, I rarely even got hitconfirms on the ground when I had 100 meter. 5A > 5B > Sweep is what leads into one of her Shadow Frenzy combos which I had been practicing. Except half the time I tried, the sweep ended up kicking you too far so there was no follow-up, and the two the times I had set up properly I dropped the combo after the 2C > Mode change. her Shadow is definitely worse, though. Pitiful damage without Orgia, and her command grab does 2400 isntead of 3000, which is already questionable for using 50sp on a super that's purely based on setup or hard reads.
She's too execution heavy for her own good... She has so many different ways she has to do her combos depending on hitconfirms, and her attack hitstun is terrible so everything drops if I'm 3 frames too slow. And I'm still pretty bad with her in general, her neutral game is so poor outside of j.Cs, but that gets Persona broken a lot, and I have like one lousy frame to land a 5A > j.B after it to do a hitconfirm combo. Outside of Orgia she never gets over 1200 damage outside of counters, and even then it's 1800 tops. In Orgia all you have to do is shut her down since her normals are so tiny and j.C can get beat out. I don't think I can actually do anything if you just keep doing 5A with Minazuki when I boost to you unless I try to go in from above. She's virtually guaranteed to do damage when she gets in on you though, if I'm not a couple of frames too slow on anything.
I really like her though, but like I said before, she doesn't feel like my playstyle at all. I find I'm better with characters who focus more on neutral and yomi. Like Yu... I just really want to stray away from playing the Ragna/Sol/Ryu/Shotoscrub supreme who immediately went for the main character as soon as he saw him, despite how much I love the character. I think I'm going to buy Adachi very soon... Because neutral and yomi is his game. And to be honest, recently I've changed my mind about him a lot as a character because the P4G anime portrays him in a much more glorious and understandable way. Plus Magatsu Izanagi still looks stupidly fun, the way the two of them combo together.

I would like to see your Adachi. I still need to finish P4GA, I never got to the Adachi parts. I can't imagine him being portrayed as 'glorious' though I hear they really try to hit you in the feels there.
Honestly, a lot of the players I fight are so good that I don't feel too dirty using Minazuki, although I certainly felt violated fighting him. If I try to abuse Minazuki's most annoying moves I just get punished. And I'm pretty fond of fighting Yu, especially since Shadow Yu can't burst or go into Awakening so I can combo safely. Oh, and for reference, 5C is the move I basically always use in my standard combo that I use basically whenever I can. 5D sucks, it's only useful in certain OMB and counter hit combos, so I don't use it, but it's the one that sends you flying into the air. 2D is much better because it's basically a 5D that homes in on the opponent, and it's what I'll usually try to use if I see you waiting at the other end of the screen waiting to DP my teleport.
Yeah, I brought all the glasses as well, and I'm pretty fond of them. I didn't buy Labrys though! Not sure if you even noticed her cheering me on. Score Attack was a real pain to get through, but thankfully, Labrys is a really good character for it. Her DP is delayable so you can mash out of the AI's supers, her auto combo is incredibly abuseable, so you can keep using it until you get red axe and then do the auto combo with the super for 4K damage. In awakening, her Axe super destroys opponents who have no idea what they're doing.
The best part is her fantastic, full screen horizontal IK which can be immediately gold bursted and used at the start of a second round, which will work about 80% of the time to end a match instantly. It took me a long time and some characters were a real pain, but I feel like I really stuck it to Atlus... which is why I felt ok in buying the glasses, I guess. Darn.
EDIT: Also, I was wondering if you saw what I did with my title.

Didn't see your title to be honest. But I just checked the player list and laughed. When I got the game, I tried to change my title to that once again, but had neither of those words unlocked. Decided to see what else I could do, and tried to do something like Meikyo Shisui. Clear mind, still water... I had Clear Mind, but I wasn't sure what to fit in with only one word left. Then I saw Mechavator. What the heck is that? It barely even has any results on Google. I'll assume it's probably a small reference from something insignificant in the P4 game, but I still feel like that word was added tehre just for me. So I guess I'm like Meikyo Mecha now? ... I love the sound of that.
Well, I'll still play Yu, but I want to find a new main, and I'll probably have him as sub. I'm not satisfied if I'm playing the #1 character and/or I'm playing the easy top tier. I mean I'll be honest, Sho Minazuki has a bunch of silly antics and Marvel normals, but on a more fundamental level he seems harder to learn his actual strings and follow-ups, and easier to react to, than Yu, who just plays with short and safe strings, and just comboing anything into Cross Slash is all his damage. Aigis is on par with Yu and Minazuki, but I'd sure respect someone who can play her on that level because winning with Junpei right now is a million times easier. Which is why I'll still try to keep on learning her along the way since she is Aigis. Alternatively I may play around with Ken or Junpei again, maybe Ken.
But otherwise I think I'll really like Adachi enough to main him, considering how much I've seen of him and how much I want to try him out myself. Especially given he can do a lot of similar stuff to Yu and Junpei. 5C is almost identical to Yu's 2C except how it follows up. 5D is Ziodyne as a charge-up normal (that gives a TON of meter on block but whatever). 2C is Junpei's 2D, the soaring anti-air diagonal Persona. 2D is Junpei's Deathbound with lock-on. Like with Junpei, Izanagi can continue attacking from its position after those two attacks, too, including from behind. He has a command grab and poking projectile, and to a lesser extent, two power up gimmicks. And for what it's worth, I always feel like a toy when I'm stuck bouncing around in his grapple combos, like how Bullet just grapples you around everywhere like a ragdoll.
Oh, as for Adachi in P4G, I meant more that Yu vs. Adachi was a much more glorious scene. The whole two sides of a coin thing and their dialogue and all, it felt so much more than simply Adachi being there as an antagonist. I feel it's just more akin to the game than the first anime, it was just much more understandable and sad this time. I feel in the first anime he was just more like Hazama. Also I find it interesting how Adachi has never actually tried to kill anyone when he obviously could, and even in Ultimax, he only shoots the ground. It's subtle but it's just constantly there throughout their fight. But then again, it could be P4G itself, since I think they expanded more on Adachi in Golden?
Whatever, I think I'll buy him tonight. I probably would have bought him earlier if I could simply add 30 cents to my PSN... And also, nice job getting through Rigged Attack. I really need to start doing stuff. I haven't done that, many challenges, or the Golden Arena thing which sounds very fun.
