You'll get Freedom Gundam and Justice Gundam from really easy quests. You should just stick with whichever you like better and scrap the other. You'll get a Psycho Gundam as a quest reward, too. Definitely keep that, it's practically a staple for Hard+ missions. But you can get by on some missions on Hard with Freedom or Justice. Just scrap the S ranks when you get F91. Unless you want to get their upgrade plans, which apparently you don't. Also, there's only one F91...The alternate colors A rank one is from an event, and keep in mind, the wiki actually follows the KR version of the game. It's completely accurate, but the content goes well past what we currently have. So, sorry, but yeah, we don't have that F91 yet. And the Crossbone Kai, are you referring to this? sdgowiki.com/wiki/Crossbone_Gundam_X-1_KaiBecause that's from the custom capsule, and we don't even have S ranks there, yet... As for Nemo... I also can't find any mention of the command type you mentioned. There's Nemo and Nemo CU... And the normal one which you called a command type, has skills for attack and mobility, not defense. And feel free to scrap anything. But good luck scrapping the Training MS. Just go on the wiki and search an unit before you scrap. Look at what plans they're used in, if any, and if you'd like anything they can make, think about keeping them around. Otherwise, C ranks are really not worth keeping in general, unless you really like the unit and don't mind dragging your team down for the most part or just acting as the bait of the team. Anyway, the Ez8s are pretty solid units, if a little outdated. They're not bad at all if you want to become a good player, and they have excellent skillsets. Oh, you can probably scrap your A and B ranks, too. The two A ranks aren't really great. Gundam Ground Type however is a really nice unit IMO, but Ez8 with the cannon is very similar.

The parentheses are just me renaming my roster. Sorry for the confusion!

I think you mean italics Anyway, do you like Re-GZ? I've been meaning to get it so I can pretend to be playing R-Type... Actually I can't remember the name of the unit that could transform into a mech. But yeah, Re-GZ is an unit that can spend its whole matches in the ship form. The only one of its kind with three weapons. Other transformers in SDGO generally only have one shot in ship mode, with horrible reload. But Re-GZ is kind of like a mobile armor with full moveset and capability as a ship, and it's even encouraged a bit, since once you transform you can't switch back. Yeah, I'd love to be an Arrowhead guy on SDGO. But... You'll have to level up quite a bit I think, to be able to get to the quest that rewards it. And it's also very difficult... And it's really hard to get a room to go for it because Expert missions are horrible and people only do them for quests, and even then, you'd need a good group with good units that know what they're doing, and just maybe, you'll make it through. Curse you, Re-GZ, I'll get you some day... For the time being, my unit of choice is ReZEL. ReZEL Command is also good. Also I'll use AGE-1 Gundam sometimes. Makes me feel a little sad, though. It's a really good unit, a 'metasuit.' So I don't feel great doing well with it.

Ignoring the fact that I'm far away from strong enough to help with those missions, I'd love to help you get that unit. And try it out as well, though my roster might be a bit wobbly.
I should mention the C-Ranks are only for Solo missions or my own amusement. I don't dare drag other people down with something like that.
Also, gyan is now part of roster forever. As soon as I get it. Until then, I have both Ez8's.
Also, what's the "research tab" for in the "My room" area? From what I can gather - vaguely - it's a guaranteed chance to get a certain MS, if I have certain items?

C ranks are generally incompetent, but some of them can be decent if you play their role correctly. GM Sniper II is one of my favorites, its machine gun and sniper can pack a decent punch for a C rank. But you have to also be out on the battlefield more even as a sniper. C ranks are best for being annoying with burst damage, and trying to be bait for the rest of the team since you dying isn't as costly. So in a way, you have to help with contribution to win, rather than contribute yourself. Well, this is for Death Matches, really, when you'll have 4 lives. Stay away for points matches if you can... Those are mindless killfests, and you'll also get less money over time since each match is forced to go all 5 minutes.
Gyan is pretty cool, but I never got it since I'm not too fond of its skills and moveset. Used to be my favorite thing ever on the Federation vs. Zeon PS2 game though.
As for the lab, that's pretty much what it is. You just pick a suit to make out of nothing, and start researching with those items you need. Then you'll get it way later. Some units are only obtainable from the lab, though I think there's only one exclusive currently.

Does the roster for the Lab change at all, besides updates to the game? I.E. is it fixed, or does it change every month or something to that effect?
Also, I'm insane for wanting to play the latest Gihren's Ambition (or Gihren's Greed, if you prefer) without any understanding of the Japanese.

I haven't looked into it much, but the times I checked it was all the same, before the next update. I'm pretty sure it's kind of like a custom capsule, that just has its own roster that gets added on. The game gets updated about every month, though. I need to check I guess... Never saw much use to the lab thing personally.
I play Japanese mecha games all the time, though. But I wouldn't play that one, myself... Some games is just going too far. Strategy/Story driven game in a foreign language? Not sure why I'd play that... But on the other hand I play stuff like Battle Robot Damashii/Macross Triangle Frontier/Gundam Assault Survove/Another Century's Episode and lots of other Japanese action games.
You always end up getting used to the interface and go through everything subconsciously, so it's not a big deal, but I dunno, strategy games are just something I feel like I need to know the language for enjoyment. Action games you just go through menus and launch into battle, then who cares what anyone's saying while you blow everything up.
You can also get the PSP GBA emulator and emulate some translated Super Robot Wars games... SRW J is great. And SRW OE on PSP is rather new, but some people are already translating it.

Progress is going fair enough in SDGO, though whenever I take on a quest for a specific mission said mission disappears from co-op play's waiting rooms. =P
As an aside, I don't know that many Gundam Games. Are there any with any sort of customization similar to SDGO? Recoloring the mech, changing stats or even whole parts, etc?

SDGO is one of a kind... Don't think any other Gundam game has customization, because it's such a titular series. Except, the very recent Gundam Breaker on PS3. It's basically about gunpla, rather than Gundams (think Gotcha Force style model figures fighting). I'm not sure if you can recolor, but I know you can basically put anything you want together with pre-existing parts. Want a Nemo head on a Freedom Gundam core, and Ez8 arms and legs? Not sure if the game has all those units, but otherwise, totally doable. It plays kinda like the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series.
Are you gonna be on today? I can probably get on and we can do some of those missions.

I can get on SDGO. What time would you be on, though? I'll have about an hour to be on, hopefully, but I lost a lot of time earlier because my online Java course threw me a curveball for an assignment, and I wasted time trying to figure out some kink instead of being more productive on my other courses.
Also, thanks for telling me about Gundam Breaker. I'll look into it.

No, no, I still have time. A more experience programmer has offered to help me with a few fatal flaws that are holding up everything, so we can roll now if you want. Or I can schedule for later in the day. I only need to know the time best for you.

Dunno about astro stuff, really. All I ever really looked at was the hangar expansion, and thought about doing surveys for it, but it was too much of a hassle. I assume the packages are just special deals to encourage people to spend. Actually, the game's not doing so hot, so they've been really trying to give people some incentives to play. But, I was about to get on, and... --------------------------- Unsupported 16-Bit Application --------------------------- The program or feature "\??\C:\Users\Claxus\Downloads\SD Gundam Capsule Fighter\GUpdate_NORTH_AMERICA.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.
--------------------------- OK --------------------------- Dunno what just happened... Looks like we're gonna play later. Just reinstalling now.

No thanks, I'll just stay in the #1 ranked clan.
I have nothing to do with that rankI'm gonna have to wait a while it seems. There's still some Windows error going on for a lot of people that they haven't fixed yet.

This time I should be on from now until the middle of the night, Claxus. I'll be online, so you should hopefully be able to see me in your friends list.
I generally just frequent Beginner 1, but are you restricted from that channel because of your rank?
