Am I the only one not in a clan?

I'd rather not be in a clan, really. Just joined Understanding because that's where my friend went after Virtue got overrun. Unfortunately my friend now is a metasuit-hugger and plays clan matches all day, so we don't even play anymore. I would play clan matches, but in that clan you have to use metasuits, and no A ranks (13 point limit, so it's theoritcally most effective to have a C, two B ranks, and an S per team). My favorite B rank is Gundam Air Master, which ended up as a metasuit, because it has stupidly good missiles with good ammo, reload, and attack power, while being nearly impossible to dodge.
I really just want to go back to S4 League, or something, but MMOs are pretty boring with no one else to play... That was a great fast paced shooter with lots of skill involved, and even really stylish. I'll be honest, as much as I like SDGO, it always just ends up as not very fun because it's so unbalanced and you have to play good suits to have a chance, and there's also the dumb rock-paper-scissors that can determine the whole outcome of random team DMs. And even worse, people with overcustom 6 units, B ranks with an attack stat equal to an S rank, etc..
And somewhat unrelated; After playing Kid Icarus Uprising, it reminded me of how much more fun other games are, too. Faster gameplay and more freedom of movement, and you can actually dodge and fight 'high tier weapons' with a good chance if you're good. SDGO has really sluggish controls and very limited movement, and most matches are just poking in and out of walls shooting, or mashing click to do ridiculous melee damage.

One reason I love KI:U and sometimes can't stand Elsword. The new Sheath Knight dominates PvP. ...but this isn't about elsword.

If I start agian I can play with you if you want. The only reason I kept playing is because I love Gundam, but there's a line between deficit ion [dedication. I must have typed and my phone autocorrected.] and a fun game. I was basically crippling myself by using my favorite suits, and couldn't use them in competitive play. And playing with randoms is just hoping you fall into the team with the advantage. My A rank was useless against A rank Gundam Rose Gold Mode because of its ridiculous skill buff... Really, I like Gundam but if you can't use your favorite Gundams and have a fair match, where's the fun or point to it? I would play S4 with you and your friend if you start, though. It may just be the only PvP MMO that is really based on skill with nothing too broken. Awesome style and amazing soundtrack, too. But I just miss the old shiny interface that had pre-fight lobbies. And you know, I would probably play Elsword a lot if I didn't have Blazblue... But MMOs that force you to play as pre-made characters irks me, too.

Well yeah you are right, but I do like playing it. I dunno why, but even if I lose if I take a few overpowered jerks with me I am happy. I play it because well its gundam and I would be lieing if I said I didnt enjoy it once in a while.
Anyway I got my S4 league account back I found out its info and what not I will see if my other friend wants to start playing agian.

(13 point limit, so it's theoritcally most effective to have a C, two B ranks, and an S per team) nope 3 B ranks and an A so that everyone would get a good unit to use. plus i would not be able to do that as i only have the Gundam S--- Box (Training MS-B [C]) and will refuse to use it (unless its needed in a quest)

Nah, you can't do that actually. You can only use a max of two per rank in clan matches. But also, S ranks are so ridiculous they can take on 3 B ranks, anyway.

Mine is rank 1... Yep. It's nothing special, though. It just means they spam clan matches more than every other clan all day long.

Being in a clan seems kind of, tireing I don't even know what a clan match is I just play normal PvP cause I can. I know none of my units are good, I still play then even if they arnt good cause I like them. Even so the A rank of GP03 (Not the giant one with the mobile armor attachment) is pretty good with its twin bazookas. I can hit clusters and deal pretty decent damage (besides I want to play him cause he is comeing out in extream VS full boost and I am so hyped for that.)

That games looks so great, but I don't have a PS3... It doesn't even have Kyrios anyway. Come to think of it, is Kyrios in any Gundam game? I know there's Arios in some games, but I think the original looks way cooler.
I liked the GP03 though. It looks pretty cool, too. But I ended up scrapping it because the bazookas have some of the worst reload I've seen in the game...

I own the first one, full boost is its upgraded brother game, same game more suits and arcade stages. I need to get fullboost as fast as possible because they are adding some awesome suits.
I really don't know, his suits arnt even added as playable in extream VS I don't think, in fact I think he is just an assist. They make Raphael playable though, cause everyone wanted to play as Raphael right?!
His bazookas and beam rifle are horrible reload, but the power of his bazookas are kinda worth it. They hit twice and have good exsplosion range and his ranged special helped me take down an S rank a few times by zoneing him. Its overall not that great of a suit, but since I am a fan of it I play it anyway.

Well, there's Tallgeese, and Kampfer, too. They both have good dual bazookas. Kampfer's reload isn't too great either, but he gets an infinite ammo skill that lets him spam dual bazookas forever at low HP... It's a double-edged sword, but if you can stay alive with infinite ammo, dual bazooka Kampfer can do some insane damage.
Well, maybe Kyrios is less popular than I thought... I know Full Boost is getting DLC this week that includes Arios. I think that'll be the first game to have either Kyrios or Arios playable besides SDGO... Well, there's Gundam Memories on PSP actually, but that game felt almost like a fan-game, it was really low budget, even the game size was tiny for a PSP game. It was still fun, but eh. Kyrios has been an assist in GvG but that's it.
Oh, and Full Boost already got GP03 in mid-December.

im getting somewhere with a B rank unit. since i have all the parts just not at the level. - Astray Gold Frame (it needs to be at custom 1 but im at Veteran)
- GM Sniper II [C] (needs to be Rookie)
- GM Quel [C] (needs to be Rookie)
- Dom Tropen [C] (needs to be Rookie)
then i need to do some work on Astray Gold Frame Amatsu [BS]. just to make it an S rank equivalent or better (to be terrifying). if i understand how to. Then il have something at a B and can take on S ranks in clan battles. then il make my twin zook gundam to be just as terrifying. so i have a collection of B ranks.

Welp. Time to dust this old topic off and just say that as of now... I am been cut off from SDGO for an indefinite amount of time. For one reason or another, I cannot access the OGPlanet Servers and, as such, cannot play SDGO.

Not sure what your problem is, but SDGO has had this strange error recently. Something about login, and you can press OK but nothing happens. Everyone's getting it. If that's what your trouble is, just keep reopening the game, and it will eventually start up properly.
Also, I believe we may be getting the gameplay overhaul some time soon, according to a a vague GM announcement, anyway. It was something like, "The new generation is coming soon..." And everyone believes it's the entirely new system that the KR server is beta-testing, with completely different Overcustom, and no more rock paper scissors attributes. I hope that's what it is, it would be so glorious. I want to play the game, but I just can't stand it how it is now, playing in public rooms is literally a rock paper scissors gamble... Unless you end up in one of those common rooms full of mainstream rock types.

No, no, it's an error that comes up when I try to use the game launcher. I am literally getting closed out the instant my game launcher is brought up.

G REVOLUTION IS COMING SDGO WILL BE REBORN, JULY 2013 GREATEST UPDATE EVER, ALL NEW EVERYTHING
G-REVOLUTION is soon upon is in North America! As it will bring the most massive changes SDGO has seen since lauch, we decided that it's not just a new generation, it's a REVOLUTION! Gameplay, UI, and other elements have been completely reworked. The update is so huge in fact, that we had to take some extra time to test it properly; we apologize for the delay. To be safe, we are targeting for an early July release.
1. RROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS SYSTEM COMPLETELY REDONE 2. CUSTOM PARTS SYSTEM 3. UNIT UPGRADE SYSTEM UPGRADED 4. BATTLE UI IMPROVEMENT 5. CUSTOM SLOT CAPACITY 6. OVERALL UI UPDATE
Seems Elsword isn't the only thing out there getting overhauled. Getting pretty hyped for this. Not only are they getting rid of the stupid RPS system (50% less or more damage according to your suit's RPS attribute) finally allowing for true strategy besides a game based on attacking what your unit is good against... But the rigged custom system is now more based on preference and speciality than boosting a grunt unit's attack stat to S rank level.
It's gonna be an amazing game from now on... Can't wait to play it as a true action strategy game now, it will be so much more balanced as well because of it and the custom system. And yes, they did actually type RROCK.
