Oho man this update is great! Felt amazing going into battles with every unit on equal terms! Matches with pubs aren't decided by rock-paper-scissors anymore! People aren't running around with ludicrous over customer stats now! The new custom parts let you edge your unit into specializing in some aspects while also nerfing others and not being broken! I can use any unit I want how I want and have fun playing Gundaaaaaaaaam!

Lucky little bastard. I still can't get my OG Launcher to work so I can't play SDGO until something about my current predicament is dealt with.

Guess it's obvious, but have you tried reinstalling? Also, check that your firewall isn't blocking it. Not sure what else to say, what exactly is the error?

Yeah, I'm tried reinstalling it. Multiple times. All of which have been abysmal failures.
The error I keep getting is error 201. It says that the OG Planet Server cannot be accessed and I should try again later. I've been having this problem since April. Happens every time I try to open the game launcher.

Seems like it's a pretty cursed error... Only saw one person find an actual fix for it, and it was specifically for a Cisco router. Still, it basically means just what it says, it can't connect... Have you checked your firewall, router settings, and anti-virus programs to make sure they're not blocking anything or are in a 'safe internet' mode? Supposedly, disconnecting or resetting your router is a solution otherwise, if the problem is based on the router.

Tried all of those. The results are as predictable as you'd think. Only hint I have to solving this though is that my cisco thinks the installation program is some kind of virus. Obviously a false positive, but the fact that cisco thinks it's dangerous leaves me wondering. This never happened before either.

This may work for you...
1. start button, search and start Cisco Connect. 2. go to valet setting, check off safe web surfing.
Seems like you're not the only one with Cisco detecting the launcher as a virus. Hopefully you have those options and it'll work, otherwise you should try to look through wherever you go for your router's settings for any setting that would block out stuff.

Slight problem with that, actually. I don't have Cisco Connect. At all. I have a Cisco router, make no mistake, but my computer, in no way, shape or form, has Cisco Connect, much less a valet setting

Do you know how to go into your router for all of its options? I did kinda doubt you'd have the program as that's the first I've heard of a program for a router. But still, there's bound to be a similar option somewhere in your router's gateway.

How do I access my router's gateway? *Not a technological expert*

Find your router here, then choose anything from the huge list afterwards. The only relevant part of the guide you get to is the part about logging in (basically typing your router's IP into your browser address bar). You're going to need your router username and password to log in, dunno if you know those. If you didn't set up your router, you're gonna have to ask for those, or try your luck inputting the default 'admin' and 'blank' as username and password.
There's going to be tons of options everywhere (and tons of gibberish), but most of it you don't have to worry about. Just see if you can find anything that blocks/allows programs, firewall, or something about safe/secure browsing somewhere in there. The answer lies somewhere within... Since you already know that it's your router blocking it.

Well, you weren't joking when you said there was a ton of gibberish, but I couldn't understand what was what, nor did I find anything that resembled a valet setting. So I tried out other options, even going so far as to completely turn off my firewall. I still can't connect to the OGPlanet server. I think I've been fucked up the ass with SDGO.

I see... Not sure what else to tell you, since I can't check the settings myself. You should just leave a message for tech support at OGP's forum.
