Also, friended you In Game.
So, is there any place that I can actually look at all the MS available in game? I haven't found a wiki yet.

Copying my R-Type and Teleport Ninja and Bay12 and F91 now. There's two wikis, though they're more or less the same... sdgowiki.com/wiki/Acguysdgo.wikia.com/wiki/AcguyIf you ever want to look an unit up, just type into Google search, "____ SDGO". The first result is always one of the wikis, for said unit's page. You can find lists of the capsule machines, plans, custom capsule units, and all in either wiki.

So I notice this game being talked about and I thought it would be fun to get in on. So, after a bunch of problems with my firewalls and such, I finally managed to get the game downloaded. I went to the main website and clicked the play button. It opened the OGPlanet game launcher.
I assume the little buttons on the left start the games, so I click them.
Nothing happens. I look around the rest of the page.
Where's the start button.
WHERE IS IT.
TELL ME WHERE THE START BUTTON IS, HUMAN!

It's really just as you thought... Double clicking the game icon on the side should start it...

Custom Gashapon setup? Are there any strings attached?

Custom Gashapon setup? Are there any strings attached? Not really. It costs a bit more than most capsule machines (and even a bit moreso if you throw in a special unit), but of course, it's custom. There's tons of units missing, too, but if stuff you want is there you can put it all together for a better chance. Some units are from the custom machine only, too. Also, a neat thing about it, for every A rank you put in the machine, 'A rank deviation' goes up. What this means is, every time you roll and don't get an A rank, your chances get boosted by invisible points. I forget right now, but after the roll, a message will pop up saying A rank deviation++, and after a certain amount of points, the color of that text will change. Every next color means your chances have increased a bit to get an A rank. And if your life is miserable, you'll eventually get to the point where it's a 100% chance. The deviation resets once you land an A rank, though. So it's kind of a gamble to try and make use of it. You can put in three A ranks to raise the chances a lot more, but you can't put duplicates, so if you only want one specific A rank unit and put in others to increase your luck, you might land one you don't want and reset your luck. P.S. It's also not a bad idea to use the custom machine for C rank units you want or need for a plan. If most of them are there, you can put some of the C ranks you're aiming for and get one guaranteed, rather than hoping you get them from a larger pool on normal machines. Anyway, all that aside, there's no real drawback besides being a bit more expensive. Feel free to lump anything you're interested in there and roll. Putting some A/B ranks there may be your best bet at getting started. Oh, and a little advice, in PvP, C ranks are pretty much just cannon fodder. B ranks are actually really great, A ranks are a bit more superior but it's a double edged sword because a good B rank player can match you up and outlast with their extra life, despite superior stats. Take it from me... Try not to get into S ranks, really. I only play in C-A rooms. S ranks, despite only having one life, are all extremely overpowered, and our in their own league in the game. In clan battles they're decent since there can only be one, but with randoms, matches with S ranks are DBZ fights, and anything less is useless.

Unfortunately, I'm a simple guy. No A ranks here, just rolling with my focus in this order.
A. Either type of the Ez8, either the standard loadout which comes with the B-Rank version, or the 180mm CANNON loadout wielded by the BR-Rank units.
B. Either of the two C-Rank units I need to craft the original Gundam. The key unit I need is the Titan's variant of the Gundam II, which I don't see in the custom slots ATM.
C. Either the Gm Cold Districts type or the GM Command (Gs Type) because I like the Gm.
No Nemo for me this time. Let's see what I get, at 2600 points.
Note:LoL. This leaves me with 9999 points left, exactly!
. . .
Z'Gok, 3 slots. Oh well, a step closer to a blueprint-made 3 slot Gundam.
Time to make some more points.

That might be a little too much effort... If you're trying to make the original Gundam, you can get one in one of the early quest rewards. And, it's also in a very early capsule machine, so you could roll for it there. Since it's an old machine, it's pretty cheap, and whatever you get from it that isn't the Gundam, you can scrap for a hefty part of the machine's cost back. But, are you sure it's what you need? The Gundam isn't listed as any part of a Titans unit. sdgowiki.com/wiki/Gundam

It's not part of a Titan's unit, the Titan's unit is part of it. Wait a sec, that's a GM II, Titan's unit.
Also, I'm using the CCM to try and get the Ez8's first and foremost. The others are just "Just in case"

The Ez8s are pretty solid B ranks. It's also a nice thing that there's three, you can eventually get them all. Well, actually it was a bigger thing... When three of them were all a Rock/Paper/Scissors. Still, there's three of them with different loadouts, so with all three of them you could just switch around for different movesets while still using Ez8.
Also, you should know something about the daily 'Faith.' Every day, you get 15 matches where you'll get extra unit EXP and Points. And if you don't play for a couple of days, you'll get Silver and Gold Faith as well, which boost your earnings even more. Now, if you really want to grind up some easy points and unit EXP and don't mind it being a bit of a chore, you can play the space single mission on Easy.
These missions usually don't give any rewards, but with Faith, for some reason, you'll get a lot of EXP and points. Running through it 15 times isn't so bad, though. The space mission is weird at first, but once you get the layout and how the targets spawn, you'll run through the first part pretty quick. Then next phase, you just gun down three waves of enemies, and you can actually take a 60~ second break (alt+tab out for a bit to do other stuff) as the enemies then won't be able to destroy the defense target. The last phase is just a simple shoot'em up.

I noticed the faith feature, though for some reason it wasn't until you told me so that single-player missions gave me anything. Beforehand, they gave me a total of 3 points even with faith. Hm.
A few other questions:
What's the third Ex8 unit? I don't see it ATM.
What are "technology" evaluation points? I think I can at least figure out what damage evaluation points are, but do either do anything other than score me?

This is the last Ez8. It's kind of a strange homage. sdgowiki.com/wiki/Gundam_Ez8_%28One_Arm%29And to be honest, I'm not sure what those technology evaluation points are. They added that in the last big update, but it's not explained anywhere. But no, they don't really do anything.

S Qubeley (Awakened) - Elpeo Puru's Awakened Qubeley - Elpeo is more friendly than Haman or Puru Two, so there.
S Gundam F91 - F91 Crossbone Kai - Just pretend Kincaide brought his F91 with him as a backup incase the X-1 gets too busted.
S Gundam F91 - Blue Flash, High Velocity Type - I say high velocity type becuase Harrison's F91 has more agility but much lower speed and special than the S rank F91. OR A Gundam F91 Harrison's Colors - Blue Flash, Anti-Crossbone Type - A defense upgrade, to take the rematch to the Crossbone Vanguard. The X-1 itself is a melee type unit.
A Elmeth - Elmeth Enhanced - Elmeth.
A VAL-Waloo - Elmeth Cannon Type - Because I like the Elmeth for some reason, so paint it Blue.
B Ez8 - Ez8 Armored - Boost defense, mostly defense.
BR Ez8 (180mm Cannon) - Ez8 Heavy Weapons - Boost defense and ranged attack/
BS Ez8 (One Arm) - Ez8 TROLOLOL mode - My list needs more humor.
CU Nemo - Nemo Newtype Test Model - The CU Nemo has a lower rate of vulcan reload, but it's skill "Art of Fighting:Mobile Suit" gives it high crit rate with low crit damage for melee. Sounds Newtype enough for me.
C Nemo - Nemo Command - Well rounded upgrade to performance. The normal nemo's skills up both atk and def, it's just a bit slow is all.
Those are my endgame plans.
You know, it would probably be more sensible to display my short term plans instead.
Get Ez8 to over custom, see if I have any free budgeted money that's not part of my safety fund to buy my first F91 with astros, check out some gotchapon machines.
Major Edit:Wait a sec, I came in here to ask which units I should scrap!
Training MS-B
105 Dagger
Gouf
Hizack
M1 Astray
Z'Gok
Gm Sniper Custom
Gundam Ground Type
G-3 Gundam
Strike Gundam
Freedom Gundam (Not likely until I have an F91)
Gundam Ez8 (LoL No)
