Oh wow that would help a lot, I figured you had to wait much longer when doing it from the ground. I'll practice that for a bit and see if that improves my Corrin game. They seem to be more popular than Bayonetta though, that's the impression I'm getting? I haven't exactly played all that much FG yet. Who knows. I like both, and at least now I can stop using Cloud, who everyone uses. Corrin's probably more popular because he's easier. Everyone in my scene prefers Bayonetta regardless. Only like 10% of us prefer Corrin.

They're both really fun characters. All I know for sure is that I want one or the other to be my new main.

I foresee a nerf...I highly doubt that Forward Air thing was intentional.

Ok. I can't do those...
She's insane, a nerf would not surprise me.
I realise my biggest problem with Bayonetta is that I didn't realise you could do up special in the air twice if you did the first special before her second jump. This is a problem for me since I use tap jump and find button jump too awkward. This generally means that I can only do up b once most of the time, which severely limits my recovery and combo potential.
Think I'll stick to Corrin for now.

(also, those zero-deaths are hilariously easy considering what they do. It's not like you're doing this.)

You guys are lucky. You guys can afford all the new characters. I'm still without a single one of them.

Due to unexpected reasons, I ended up with both...
Bayonetta felt pretty amazing to play. I didn't particularly care about her... but her gunkata gimmick is amazing. And not because it's good (if anything, it's mostly useless), but being able to style so freely with those guns is way too awesome. Holding down shots after Down Smash right at the edge is hilarious, even if it really only gets you at most 1%. I also like being able to shoot straight upwards (Up Tilt or Smash) for Last Shooting as a pseudo victory taunt. Unfortunately right now she's adding up to be a rather unfair character, she feels ridiculous.
But I know when I'm over her gunkata style I'm going full-time Corrin. I mean... he's pretty close to my image of... Indigo. He has some lance moves, which are some of his strongest aspects (except Up Smash. Why? Am I missing something?)... and he fights using my favorite element. Variable weapons are my favorite thing (i.e. Gunblade, Gunlance, Chainblade... Devourgun). His dragon stuff is pretty shonen... and it seems Up-B has INFERNOOCEAN DIVIDER properties on the ground like Roy, or Ryu. Only thing wrong with him is... he has no shoes. I never dreamed I'd be able to use a diving lance thrust as a finishing move in Smash...
... He seems a little unfair, too, in a few aspects, but we'll see.

Up Smash's knockback is comparable to tipper Forward Smash, and it can be a followup after dragon shot for a KO. It's a good move.

Wait, who is 'Indigo?"

"Indigo" is our Indigo's dream self. It is his ideal self-representation.
More accurately, "Indigo" is a noble, lance-wielding white knight, with ivory hair. He stands for truth and justice. He wins the heart of a beautiful girl, but is too cool/busy for relationships. (Insert missing details here.)

welp since i've been dead i might as well say some stuff about my thoughts on sm4sh.
Seeing as I am a ganondorf main 100%, I for one welcome our Bayonetta overlords.

That and I have a decent record against Bayo's on the most reliable of methods of determining matchups forglory

What if Hideki Kamiya is paying Sakurai to keep Bayonetta as the best character? It's something I think Kamiya would do XD

Raaaaah I'm ashamed of myself. Got eliminated in this last tournament by a Bowser that was at 154% and I was at like 70% Q_Q Oh well, lessons for next time.

I got up-A'd while recovering. That's partly what's aggravating about it, is that it was fairly avoidable. I did a decent job dodging all the other classic Bowserisms for the most part, but man, one slip and you're gone

By Up-A, I assume you mean Up-Smash? The shell attack? Bowser with full rage is not something to be trifled with. Best way to beat Bowser is to edgeguard him; his recovery's not nearly as bad as it used to be, but it's still not amazing. If you don't, he's usually going to live well past 100% and at that point rage + Bowser means any hit after 50 can kill you.

I seem to remember you saying you play Zelda? Cause she can play a good keep away game against Bowser :D I love playing against the big heavy characters like Bowser, Gannon, DeDeDe 'cause it always feels like a David V Goliath situation
