Looking at his moveset in the trailer... makes me pretty interested. Smash is sort of becoming the series for all of the classic video game characters, not just the Nintendo ones. This makes me very excited for the future.
ANYWAY! I'll definitely be buying him and trying him out. I love Duck Hunt, but I've always been an aggressive physical player as opposed to a zoner. Fingers crossed Cloud will click with me because for some reason that hasn't been the case with the other smash U characters with a similar playstyle. Looks like a cross between Shulk and Ike, hopefully slightly speedier. He seems to have stronger over limit variations of his specials.
I assume he's coming soon? I'm surprised they didn't give a release date.
EDIT: Oh, and since he isn't the ballot character, I'm assuming he's here because Sqaure Enix thought it would be a good idea to get Cloud in here in order to promote the remake.

Huh... well in the meantime, they're also bringing out new Splatoon content. I wouldn't mind playing some Smash again either, to warm up. Not right now though.

People are either freaking out because they're so excited, even if they don't care about FF, or they're freaking out because they think Cloud's inclusion is a sign of the apocalypse. Because Snake was fine BUT THIS IS GOING TOO FAR. I say bring in the third party characters, so long as they're iconic in a similar manner to the existing cast. |

This is the only match from my most recent tournament that I was recorded on. I feel super bad for ZZZ (my teammate) because I choked pretty hard, but it was fun.
I'm the one on the far left who's halfway out of the shot most of the time.

That choke was a shame, but it didn't cost the match. Your partner still had that, that Captain Falcon was seriously desperate, starting to use only unsafe moves, and getting constantly outplayed, but that despeRaptor Boost with Rage KO'd way too early. But I guess even gambling tactics is a skill.
What's with the commentators frowning upon the share-stock at the end? They really think DK alone has a better chance against two players with two stocks, when one is a projectile camper? You held your own pretty well in the end there against them, but they were a little disrespectful.
On another note, I got Cloud and Roy a little while back, and... they're the only two I play now. I more or less dropped Shulk, since they're both more of what I liked about him. I still have Robin and Palutena on the side because I love their characters.
