That or everyone's trying to log in at the same time and you're, legitimately, over 9000 in the waiting line.
Edit: Finally, supposedly the servers are coming back online soon.
Edit #2: Apparently, it was a good thing I stated "supposedly" since they're still not up. The servers are "busy" and the play button is still unavailable. Something strange's going on with the forums too...

...Was all for a few nerfs (massive unneeded one to Swain) and some pretty UI changes. Yay!

(massive unneeded one to Swain) Swain actually got buffed in a way. A couple of patches ago his healing was changed to 50% from all targets. Now he's not so dependent on fighting with minions nearby. |

Wrong, Dogmantra. Because the ravens won't automatically focus champions, you can bet that most of them will go for the minions and give you crappy heals unless you're in that champion's face. Not to mention now that his healing's reduced by magic resistance, it means he'll heal ever so less, since a good portion of his heal and sustain (and tower diving) is draining from minions.
Now to get any semblance of his former heal, you gotta get up in their face more than ever. It wasn't a problem until his heal got hit so hard. And again, magic resistance means you will be healing tons less than you expect, and since you can't refill your hp nearly as well as you could with minions, it means he got hit AGAIN with nerf bat. BADLY.
What's the point of Swain anymore? An AoE snare bot? Slows? Since his ult may just as well be a cosmetic change, there's not much else to Swain other than being a huge freakin' demon bird that gets ignited.
Damage? Just go with Annie / Brand / Malz. I really fear that Annie's getting to be top dog too much among the AP casters, and that's just not right. Then she'll get nerfed, and consequently all the other AP casters that will replace her will get nerfed. Added in with the Rabadon's nerf and the bucket-loads of tanky dps that Riot's throwing our way, I'm pretty sure Riot's trying to kill AP casters.

He's not going to be so dependent on fighting with minions nearby. Literally zero of that is wrong.

its funny cause i was trynd and had the best(key word) early game out of my team

I had a guy start calling me a noob because I accidentally stole his kill. It wasn't my fault he didn't kill them before the timebomb went off...
Also, just tried to log in. Says "Account has been suspended until July 13th, 2011" today's July 13th, 2011. I'm guessing its a 24 hour ban?

I believe so, RP mod, usually first infractions are 24 hour bans.
And there is no such thing as kill stealing unless you wasted something like your ult to last hit someone that was about to die just to piss your teammate off.
Zilean bombs? Not Kill steal. Now, if someone like... Evelynn is stunned, at your tower, about to die from say, Karthus' ult, and you just run in DEMACIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA their face, I'd count that as kill stealing, since you're wasting something that should be conserved (your ult) just to get credit.
Helping someone kill some enemy and accidentally get the credit, or hitting them just to make sure they die? Not kill steal. Running in and throwing your ult at someone that your carry's obviously gonna kill? Not cool. Help them if you want (throw a spell or two, auto attack, whatever. If you get the kill, you're just trying to help.) Throwing your ult just to last hit that 1 hp Miss Fortune under a Malzahar ult? That's just plain rude.
In all, there is no kill stealing, but there -is- being plain rude and getting more gold for yourself by making sure you get credit by wasting your high cooldown abilites / ult on people who are about to die.
Though, if you have to ult someone 'cause they're about to get away, or throw your spells at them to ensure they will die (100% guaranteed, no chance of escape, make sure they die quick and clean), that's fine. Your team mate obviously not gonna get the kill and you get it for them? It's fine. Getting it by accident? It's fine.
Wasting your 180 second team-fight changing ultimate to kill a teemo that's already under attack from 4 different people? That's just being an ass.

Again, not really "kill steal", but if you're depriving your carry gold, and making yourself look like an ass by using your ult and pretending it was all you...
Cait's about to get her ult out on the mid laner, he's 5 hp, no one's mia, he's about die, she's gonna be able to go back and get her B.F. swor--!! owait no, Garen popped out of the bush and Demacian Justice'd.

I JUST HAD THE MPOST EPIC 45 MIN TT MATCH EVAR
at the very end my team had NO turrets
and before are spawn turret died it killed two champs and left the last with little health
my full team spawned at the SAME TIME and raped the poor poor leona
then WW left because he had sumthin important
and then we TURNED THE WHOLE GAME AROUND and won it was so freaking epic i wish i had a recording device for it

but if you're depriving your carry gold, oh god, carries complaining about KSing is the WORST "ks i need the gold" "THEN LEARN TO FREAKING FARM, IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S HARD WITH 200 AD" (the situation you mentioned? Garen did the right thing. Kill + Assist > kill alone literally always, even if the kill gold goes to someone who doesn't scale as well [and actually Garen should get the gold more because he's more reliant on a good early game than Cait so he's a better candidate for kills]) |
