I think aiming with the Wii-mote would turn out pretty bad... I mean, Gotcha Force is a pretty fast paced game, you wouldn't have time to take aim during battles. I assume that if they were to use the Wii-mote, the targeting system would kinda be similar to Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, where you target an enemy but you have to control the gun. In Gotcha Force, you're kinda jumping around and dodging as you shoot, it would be too hard to take aim and actually hit. The hit ratio would be terrible. And if it were a character with short range attacks, meaning swords and punching, I don't know if the Wii-Mote can actually handle that kind of thing that well. If you really wanted the full feel of using a sword or something, you probably wouldn't get it. Just look at Twilight Princess. You can sit down and just wave the Wii-mote with tiny motions and it will work. I really think the Gamecube controller is the best. It fits the human hand perfectly, and it's easy to control. Plus, Gotcha Force has things that the Wii-mote probably couldn't do. You can easily use characters like Samurai Shogun and the Light of Destruction with the GameCube controller. You can keep charging as you move and attack. I really think that they should make another Gotcha Force game for the GameCube. Ah, sorry for the rant. Guess I kinda got caught up in that. If Gotcha Force 2 was on the gamecube it would be kinda weird because the gamecube is an old system now, not many new games are coming out for it. As for the wii-mote I agree because everything would be slower than using the gamecube controller. They could just release it on Wii, but give it Gamecube controls. Or they could make a new control JUST for Gotcha Force. That would be great (and very expensive... But still great)

Your partner(s) Force should be customizable, as in you can choose which Borgs they'll use.

Your partner(s) Force should be customizable, as in you can choose which Borgs they'll use. As much as i'd like this, it would make the game even more easier then it already is. You'd be able to use Machine Red and Put Machine Blue as you're ally, enabling you to combine in almost any battle.

Y'know what would be pretty cool?
To borrow a page from Smash Bros.' book, Event Matches. Like, where you're given a specialized Force and have to overcome a personalized challenge. That way, you'd be forced to become familiar with Borgs you wouldn't normally use, as well as come up with unique strategies. Think the gimmicky battles in Story Mode without the option of making your own force.
I'm sure Capcom could come up with some interesting scenarios. Running stealth missions as the Ninja Borg assassination unit, a battle between Star and Planet hero to decide the true defender of the world, a Sci-Fi battle of Air Borgs versus the Death Saucer...the list goes on.

I'm pretty sure everyone was thinking something along the lines of that. As fun as GF1 was, it eventually gets to the point where everything becomes "Spam B with Cyber Ninja/Neo G Red" or something to that effect. Event matches would spice things up.

I'm pretty sure everyone was thinking something along the lines of that. Shark On Darts = Unoriginal But that's ok. What I want to see more than anything is some expansion on the flavor text for every Borg. Maybe if some of the event took place on Mega Borg instead of Earth? Take Anubis Wing for example. "Legend says the Mega Borg planet has been ruined 3 times by the Anubis Force..." How about a historical battle of sorts pitting the player as Mega Borg's greatest heroes (perhaps the ancestors of G Red and the crew?) against Anubis Wing at the height of his power, with Mega Borg's future at stake. Or vice versa, with the player controlling the all-powerful Anubis, wiping away the feeble enemies before him and destroying (or at least "ruining") the planet. Can you say "epic?" I most certainly can.

off topic: congrats on 50 posts?
Events would be quite awesome, not to mention they could pull plenty from all those great unexplained bios from a zillion borgs. ;D

Hmm. would a Gotcha PRequel be good? Play against Death force, but the end cutscene is eventual failure. Mebbe play as death force :D. They really SHOULD let the fans make gotcha force 2. RawRg

The fans? Okay, I think that's out of our reach...I don't know how a handful of people could come up with a million new borgs, program and draw every single stupid frame of the incredible 3-D gameplay, and then manage to throw in a great story that everyone wants as well.

All these good ideas, and Capcom's ignoring it. *sigh*

I know...It's so sad. I wonder how in the world Capcom thinks they could make a bad game if they listened to their fans?

What SharkOnDarts said we can do now in vurses. Sometimes i've wanted a challenge and so i made a team of Death Borg's (Me) fight a team of Fortresses and Dragons (CPU)
I've lost most of the time (Depending on how many i chose to fight) but it's always fun.

How about a completely new Gotcha Force where Borgs are huge Mechas instead?

I'd add some sort of Stage Creator and some form of Borg Upgrade System as they Level Up. Stage creator? for Gotcha that would be pretty hard. It's not almost-2-D like brawl. How would that be pulled off? A special mode to play as the Death force or whatever it is? ;D I think i've already said this. I've seen play station 1 games that have 3D stage creators... You could just start off with an empty floor. You could then choose what type of floor you want (carpet, concrete, whatever) Then within a certain space amount (like on The Sims) you could place items in the stage.

I was thinking of some ways to redo the exp system I was thinking 2 exp for win (as always) 1 exp for lose but if win 1 bonus exp for the first borg used and 1 bonus exp for the last borg used if you only use one borg in the whole battle, that borg gets 1 extra exp AND 2 exp for win and 1 exp for being the first and 1 for being the last. make things interesting. (but then again that would be cheap for sirius if you have it first)

More like cheap for Sirius, Antares, Barrier Girl, Shogun Samurai, Death Saucer....*names all broken borgs* It's unique though, just kinda weird.
