A stage creator would be pretty hard to do, so I would add changing camera angles and whatnot.
Playing as the Death Force wouldn't be that great because the Death Force has the same borgs as Kou...or at least they could obtain the same borgs. It would pretty much be the same thing as normal except maybe some different dialogue...maybe.

What about building your own borg that would be kinda fun.

Stage creator wouldn't be that hard. All they'd need to do is give you a 3D stage to work on and then a load of items to work with like books, tables and other stuff. Then they could use the Sims thing where you could only create a certain amount of objects before the space is filled up. As for flooring there could be a set amount of size and colors to choose from.

I can't believe Capcom won't release a sequel already! Wii controls would be absolute with this game.

I bet they make Pikmin 3 a big pile of rubbish by adding all these stupid motion sensing control puzzle stuff. With Gotcha Force they'd probably do the same unless they made it like Brawl where you could use a GameCube control.

Or they can make pikmin 3 for the nintendo DS instead of the Wii. As for Gotcha Force 2 I'm not really sure they would put it on the wii but for the ps3 instead.

Aah, but regarding GF 2, Wii controls would be a dream and here's why: The auto-targeting from GF should still be there ( or you could have a manual option for it with Z) but still have free-range while shooting using the Wii-mote. An excellent example of this are Metroid Prime 3's controls, which works in this manner. It would be perfect, I tell you. I'm not really sure they would put it on the wii but for the ps3 instead. That... would be a horrible choice for Capcom and Gotcha Force. Not only does the Sony audience not know about this great game, but the owners of PS3's would undoubtedly be far too spoiled to care for this game. They only go for games with AAA titles. Sad but unfortunately true.

I'm sure if you look on the old closed forum and maybe some other places, the majority of people say a Gotcha Force 2 would be bad on Wii. All of my friends say it too and most if not all of the people i speak to on MSN who have the game all say it could be a bad idea. It gives Capcom a reason to make it though (Prove us wrong)

What would be really cool is if you could do 2 player story mode, and the second player could play as one of the other guys like Kakeru, Orochi, Sho, Mana, Kotaro, etc. but still have a team that they created. Also Wi-Fi would rock, like in Brawl. As for the Wii controls... I think it should be like Twilight Princess, where there are 2 versions, one for the Wii, where you use the Wii-mote, and one for Gamecube with the original controls. Personally, I prefer the Gamecube controls. I use them for Brawl too. I can't stand the Wii-mote.

So they could do it like brawl with gcube controller

- Again, Wii controls would offer superior gameplay, this there is no doubt about, despite what people think of the Wii-mote.
- Wii has no competition whatsoever regarding sales, so the game would reach a much, much bigger audience, which would present the name Gotcha Force a much needed attention.
Even should there be an option to, just like some other games, play using different controls for the game, a Wii-mote user would have completely dominate. No question about it. The way you can aim is simply way better than traditional means of aiming.

True...but it will take time getting used to playing the wii-mote since the controls would be all moved.

I think aiming with the Wii-mote would turn out pretty bad... I mean, Gotcha Force is a pretty fast paced game, you wouldn't have time to take aim during battles. I assume that if they were to use the Wii-mote, the targeting system would kinda be similar to Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, where you target an enemy but you have to control the gun. In Gotcha Force, you're kinda jumping around and dodging as you shoot, it would be too hard to take aim and actually hit. The hit ratio would be terrible. And if it were a character with short range attacks, meaning swords and punching, I don't know if the Wii-Mote can actually handle that kind of thing that well. If you really wanted the full feel of using a sword or something, you probably wouldn't get it. Just look at Twilight Princess. You can sit down and just wave the Wii-mote with tiny motions and it will work. I really think the Gamecube controller is the best. It fits the human hand perfectly, and it's easy to control. Plus, Gotcha Force has things that the Wii-mote probably couldn't do. You can easily use characters like Samurai Shogun and the Light of Destruction with the GameCube controller. You can keep charging as you move and attack. I really think that they should make another Gotcha Force game for the GameCube. Ah, sorry for the rant. Guess I kinda got caught up in that.

Having free-range targeting system wouldn't be so bad as you think. It would at most be a little extra effort to learn, but once done so, you'd never want to go back to a simple auto-targeting only. Just the idea of simply tilt the Wii-mote to slightly alter the angle of fire so to intercept an opponents dodging; A-material. As for close combat; it could easily retain the simple press of the A-button to execute an attack. No need for motion controls there.

If Gotcha Force 2 was on the gamecube it would be kinda weird because the gamecube is an old system now, not many new games are coming out for it. As for the wii-mote I agree because everything would be slower than using the gamecube controller.

It might work for the Wii-mote:
Nunchuck Stick=Movement C= Jump Z= ? Some new feature, maybe the 'Final Smash'
Wii-mote D Pad Down=toggle autolock D Pad Up= ? Hard to hit without shifting your whole hand, so I'm not sure what to put D Pad Left/Right=toggle autolock target Movement=Aim A= GC's B button B= GC's X button 1= Super Awesome Hyper Whatever It's Called, or "Y" for short 2= ? Same as D Pad Up +=Pause - = Another button for SAHWIC, aka Y
Or you could use a GC Controller. Okay, I spent way too much time thinking about stuff that won't happen...

Ah, I guess it wouldn't be that bad. It would take a lot of getting used to, though. I suppose I wouldn't care either way, if they would just make another Gotcha Force...

The way you can aim is simply way better than traditional means of aiming. It would be stupid for Capcom to make a Gotcha Force 2 and concentrate it only on the people who played Gotcha Force 1. Seeing as only a small handful of people liked Gotcha Force 1, im now starting to understand why Capcom isn't going to make a Gotcha Force 2. Wii controls wouldn't be a good idea as Capcom would probably just do stupid stuff with them. For example if they took auto aim off, the player would have to aim at the enemy using the Wii control. The game would be to hard. Most people would miss there target almost all the time. Also seeing as some people like playing the game for hours, unless a player didn't have to move constantly they'd get worn out. It wouldn't reach a much bigger audience. Most people would be like "When did Gotcha Force 1 come out" If what you're saying is true, Capcom would have made a Gotcha Force 2 by now. Having the option to play using the Wii control or a Gamecube Control would probably be a good idea as not all people are comfortable using the Wii control. Also it would mean people wouldn't have to buy 4 Wii controls just to play 4 players in the Game.
