Anyway, Shuckle, Scolipede, Crustle, Ariados, and Galvantula. As it turns out, I've used all of them but Shuckle to get through a game. Or half-way through in the case of Ariados. Oh, gosh! SHUCKLE!!! I'M SORRY I FORGOT ABOUT YOU   PLEASE FORGIVE ME  I can't possibly pick one favorite Water type (besides mudkipz), they just all look so good  Have you heard of a Pokemon called Slowpoke? |

I belive in not using a water type
I mainly use dark, ghost, or fighting types. Up to three at a time.

Not to mention practically required to go through every game save the 5th gen ones. And even in 5th gen, you still need to to complete or get most everything. |

Mudkip squirtle and the otter thing from gen five. Piplup is too cute, and its evolutions (save the final one) look stupid. And i dont like totodile. Also suicune, and perhaps kingdra.... wait wailord

So many of you in love with starters. If I had to pick a real favorite Water type, I'd probably go with Milotic or Wailord or Quagsire just because they're awesome ;D Or Cloyster because ... Shell Smash then spamamanamamam again Its low Sp. D. sure gets in the way though  Death Eye, I thought you might like to know I named my Magnemite Cole. I don't like not having nicknames and it happened to remind me of a Death Eye but Death Eye wasn't the best name for it and I only know you by one other name :3 |

Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver. I was kind of thinking in terms of Gen 3. I'm planning to step up to 4 once I've completed the Pokédex in all the Gen 3 games I have. Which, come to think of it, would logically be narrowed down from here to Ruby or Colosseum. Emerald (if I'm not mistaken) has all the starters as well as the exclusives for the games I don't have, so I can't restart that yet, and why would I do XD before Colosseum? ...Though it also occurs to me that my GBA's power switch is broken, I don't believe I have a functional GBA Link Cable, and both of my GCN-GBA cables are hilariously inconsistent. Maybe I should resolve that last issue before I worry about what I'm going to do next. You know, so I can actually trade between games. |

^ i quite liked Colosseum. the music's good, the 3D battles are always cool, and it was interesting how the plot was so self-contained (since you can't play with other people) Favorite water type for me = LAPRAS. most epic 1st gen water type EVER ;D and cloyster and dewgong are also awesome i also agree with Thaddie on milotic, quagsire and wailord. i had all three of them as my main water types in previous games. the nostalgia, it burns! |

I never could get a milotic. Then again i never could find a feebas either. Meh i havent ever completed the dex anyways. Oh and blastoise.

Those designs are a little uninspired... then again, I guess they are new legendary forms.
Looks like they're definitely going to be looking into pokemon genetics though. Mewtwo X and Y? Sounds like the XY chromosomes to me. Team poke-biologists are probably going to be trying to create the ultimate pokemon by genetically modifying them, and that will be the third pokemon for pokemon Z, the combined form of the current box art legionaries.
Just a guess.
