Forretress, for some reason if I had the decision between a perfect forrestress and a perfect ferrothorn, I would pick forretress. Fortress is bug/steel. Fire types rape him....

Forretress, for some reason if I had the decision between a perfect forrestress and a perfect ferrothorn, I would pick forretress. Fortress is bug/steel. Fire types rape him.... And every other type is neutral or resisted. Its defense is sky high. Heatran's got a x4 ground weakness, Quagsire,Swampert,Seismitoad,Whiscash, and Gastrodon all have a x4 weakness to grass. (and don't get me started on all the pokemon x4 weak to ice...pretty much every non-legendary dragon, Gliscor, grass flying types, Torterra...the list is big.) Despite these weaknesses they still posess good typings (well, except for grass-ground and grass-flying) Ferrothorn rules the OU metagame despite having a x4 weakness to Fire, and a x2 to the ever-present fighting type. Point being, a x4 weakness doesn't make a pokemon terrible. For Ferrothorn and Forretress you could have them with a DW Politoed or a Kyogre, and their x4 fire weakness is now only the equivalent of x2. How about that.

Chinchio is a good pokemon with its typing Chinchou? It's got a very rain-centric type, but it's stats suck.

Lanturn is good Spritomb is undefeatable if it had wonder gaurd Wonder guard spirittomb is not undefeatable, it's still effected by status moves and weather damage. Lanturn is okay, But Rotom-Wash geberally has more options and outclasses Lanturn as a bulky water-electric type.

No Ground type has anything on Gliscor. Gliscor is indeed amazing, but good luck taking down a skarmory with a stall set, and the sweeper gliscor is just laughable. Skarmory cant do anything to Gliscor either. In a stall war, they would just end up struggling each other to death, with Gliscor coming out on top in the way end. Poison Heal > Leftovers. Course, sensibility says just switch to Magnezone and turn Skarmory into a fried turkey. Then switch back when they try to counter Magnezone with a ground/fire/fighting type. As Gliscor counters all three of them =D And you haven't seen the Acrobat sweeper Gliscor, have you? Not that it works on most Steel-Types, but everything else gets wreaked pretty hard. Speaking of bugs and favoritism, what's everybody's favorite Bug-type? Bug types? Has to be Scizor. I'm a huge fan of Steel Types (if no one has noticed), and Scizor just fits perfectly into most teams I make. Not to mention he looks freaking cool. Technician + Bullet Punch is so great. from 40 base to 90 base with STAB. So powerful. One of the reasons I got so far in the battle tower in my Diamond Game...

I like steels, but scizor hurts me. I have seen acro gliscor. It's pretty sad.

Speaking of bugs and favoritism, what's everybody's favorite Bug-type? Crustle comes first to mind, since it's just about the only Bug-type I've taken the time to EV/IV train. I mean Shell Smash and then spamamamamamamamamthendie

Omastar can learn Shell Smash? Oh man, I'm going to have a field day with that once I get my Omastar from FireRed to Black 2. ;D Anyway, Shuckle, Scolipede, Crustle, Ariados, and Galvantula. As it turns out, I've used all of them but Shuckle to get through a game. Or half-way through in the case of Ariados.

How about favorite Water Type? What a lame 15,000th post.

How about favorite Water Type? Relicanth. I don't know why, but I think it has something to do with the ability to spam Head Smash and other such recoil moves without killing itself. Second would be Lanturn, simply because I taught Substitute to one with Volt Absorb and had some fun times in Triple Battles with it.
