It usually is. Next time it fails play offline. If it works then it is your net connection, if it still fails then mc servers are probably down for mantenience or something like that.

how did i get a C in science? Dude thats funny. One time i built a fence on top of a bit of land 2 blocks thick with lava underneath for a visual: d-dirt,f-fence,l-lava F D D L My fence burned down. How? |

Which would make more sense, as lava and water affect blocks directly surrounding them the "heat" from the lava passed through the dirt and "into" my fence.
