I had my very first Brawl online match the other day.
... I have to say my initial impression is not a good one.
It took like 2-3 seconds from that I pressed a button until my fighter reacted. That felt pretty horrible.
After being spoiled with Mario Kart's great online, this was a disappointment to say the least.

Anyone have a special punching bag (disliked character) that you love pummel til no end?

Mostly Lucario, because I had the hardest time beating him (Maylene's Lucario) on my first Pokemon Diamond run.

Except he's not such a good punching bag, because of his power increasing at high %...

Luigi. I hate his guts on brawl.

And that goes for him on all things.

Imagine my frustration when I spent the last of my money on a gatchapon machine to receive a keyring with his gorming mug on it.

That wasn't a good day for me...

Easily, in fact his mere existence annoys me to the core

Nowadays, people tend to like him because of his unfair lot as the "2nd" guy.

Personally, I've liked Luigi for as long as I can remember, because he represent green, my favorite color.

Yep, I hate green, yet another reason for me to hate luigi and I don't think its unfair for him to be the '2nd guy'.

I only think thats even more unfair on the 3rd mario brother....

I have a stage that's nothing but a giant conveyor belt and another that's just a big mushroom.

Not exactly original, probably, but it's something.

I have a design which I call "The Cage".
Its design allows for maximum damage to the opponent(s), unless you're unlucky.

Else I have a simple platform design with two elevated steps to jump on.

As for lag, it depends on where they live, I think.
Same household is the optimal distance.
Halfway around the world would not be.
