Well, I've been infamous among people online to dislike this title. Not only did they do the completely inexcusable cut of the best possible character, but they also did the totally unnecessary delay for us PAL users, so most of us lost interest.
However, being such a videogame fan as I am (and the fact there hadn't been a decent title for 4+ months) I finally gave in and bought this game. I still have tons of things to unlock in this game, some I'm pretty sure I'll never succeed with. A lot of stuff feel more like tedious labour than satisfying accomplishments.
Because of aforementioned reasons, I still find SSBM to be the better game, but I must admit this game has its moments. Not to mention lots of good music.

Yeah I agree with you SSBM was better and it seemed more fun...SSBB was okay...and I still have many things to unlock too and now I think about it it seems kinda shorter compared to SSBM....it was also bigger and lighter...SSBM it was smaller and darker which seemed more fun....Hate to admit it but the ssb series are losing it's interest now....which is kinda of sad...but like they say "The original first one is the best" then usually the sequel is okay, but can't beat the first one.(OMG that doesn't make any sense...but you still get the point) And they removed a lot of characters I liked, like Roy...they lowered a lot of good characters but boost up the "low tiers" they should of just boost up the "low tiers" and leave the good characters alone....I'm also disappointed how they still didn't add any more female characters....they're a lot of improvements that needs to be made(which means a more longer delay )...but I'm just thankful there is a sequel because there might not be a fourth one...and the music is good too

I don't have the game but my mate does. I think it's good but too long. I heard there's like 500+ Trophies and 800+ Sticker's to get. As for favorite characters, I like Kirby (Always have) but i also like Pit. His recovery is too cool.

Well, I've given this game quite some time now, and I have unlocked tons of stuff (still got a lot to do) and there's no denial that the music in this game is A+ material. It sure makes atleast me keep going.

I personally think Melee is better than Brawl. Brawl seems to have the protactics from Melee taken out:L-cancel, SHFFL, wavedash (yes, I know SHFFL and Wavedash are derived from L-cancel). It is also slower, not just in gameplay, but also in the amount of time it takes for the game to just load to the title screen, or to load a battle. The recovery time for getting hit seems to have gotten shorter, making combos near-obsolete, and people apparently have gotten longer arms to let them grasp the edge of a platform from halfway across the screen. Don't get me wrong. Brawl is a fun game, but as a sequel to Melee, it fails like a roach fighting galactic emperor (a little bit of Gotcha Force imagery here).
(sorry for the edit message part. I was gonna quote you but accidentally pressed the modify button instead - Sirius)

Quite honestly, I don't see anyone other than Link who has use for L-canceling, so that doesn't bother me.
Wavedashing is in my opinion, and excuse my blunt manner, only a childish showoff. Not once have I seen any real use for this. While watching videos of people using it, I've seen tons of opportunity for attacks while the player is just showing off this move back and forth instead.
The load times can't really be blamed, because the disc is cramped with information. They sure fitted a lot to the game so load times are inevitable. Another good reason why the good old cartridges was a better medium.

Melee was better and brawl is slower. Ssbb is okay but it could of been better(like adding Roy) But I'm just thankful to have a sequel because there might not be a next one.

L-cancelling does make a difference in gameplay, as it allows for an attack to be used sooner after landing. Link's d-air and Bowser's b-air are used as examples only because they have a lot of lag time.
For wavedashing, wavedashing back and forth is not the correct way to use it in an actual battle. One would dash forward, wavedash back quickly, and hit them during their after-lag.
Another reason for people liking Melee better is that Brawl attacks are different than Melee attacks. Some would argue that Brawl should have different attacks, but for us that have worked to get good at Melee, we tend to prefer Melee over Brawl.

The exclusion of Roy is definitive proof that the idiot in charge of choosing characters were smoking something serious bad. You just don't remove a great character like that. I heard that if they make a next SSB game, there would ( or at least should) be downloadable characters to it since many think the Smash formula can't be improved much further.

I could post my FC but that's rather pointless now since I don't have a TV at the moment...
I've never tried Brawl online before. Is it really as bad as people say, or is that just talk of spoiled folks who are used by the best possible online play of other games?

Do you have to pay for it, or is it free? Anyways, I just found out my friend code is 4897-7215-9501. It's under Blitz, since it's my brother's game. I suck at the game and I rarely play it, but, yeah, whatever.

I might try that... My main concern was that it would cost extra to do that.
