>Clax suggests Teleport Ninja YES~ That Borg is amazing.
*Ahem* Hammer Robot / Megaton Robot, for my suggestions. I would have added Claw Robot, but we all know how fantastic that one is, so I figured I would mix it up.

oh man Megaton robot's going to be killer. Did we ever calculate how much his head-throwing attack hurts?
Hammer robot: Two projectile-killing attacks for the price of one!

My suggestions: Tar Diver / Sekhmet Witch Talk about underused. Man, the divers and the witches never seem to get any attention, positive or negative. At least Carrier Heli is famous for being bad (imo it's not too bad but whatever). Well I think they hvae interesting gimmicks that will make the game a little interesting. I was originally going to suggest Vampire Knight instead of Tar Diver, but then I figured everyone would just pick him. All these melee suggestions... Galactic Emperor fight is going to suuuuuck. Carrier Heli is known for being bad? New news to me. That said, I offer Pop Honey, because I am the #1 fan of Pop Honey okay.

Only Pop Honey? I'll take that as you're also bringing in Carrier Helicopter.
Updated the list... I think this may almost be the peak of the list now? Think most people have been online since the original conversation in the daily Gotcha thread, and this topic.

Not sure if I have Delta II or not, but I'm missing a good few of the ones suggested here, too... Just gonna have to farm them.
As for Megaton Robot, he can be pretty crazy, but I think having to get the head back makes up for it. It's also not completely accurate, it's a pretty slow projectile. But Megaton Robot himself is slow, so getting back to his head can be a chore and his main shots are pretty gimp. Is there a way to cancel lock on? I've always wondered about that... I'm assuming no because I think I've tried pressing just about everything. I found out you can lock on to the head, but it'd still be nice. My main issue here is actually against GE... It's so hard to see where the ground is on him.

(Ignore the lack of grammatical correctness in that statement.) Idk if i can beat GE with a team of these borgs. Gonna be interesting. Oh btw, someone suggest shield or guard witch. Im in the process of figuring them out. So far ive determined that guard witch's shield lasts longer?

So, she leaves a very nice dent.

Why don't we all just re-pick, and try and make this as awkward as possible? I mean, if we ARE trying to get the maximum effect out of this.

Well, it's more of a use-borgs-everyone-here-likes thing... Just limiting it to non-ezmode stuff. In a way, more like playing through with everyones' favorite cannon fodder or gimmick fodder borgs.
Drawing the potential of a team of less renown borgs, each borg representing a friend and soul. The feeling when I use Sword Knight, and I know it was the strength bestowed upon me by Metal. A team that will take sweat, tears, and a heart of trust to make it through. You know.
There's always room for a separate run. I find this current list to be a nice combination of generally useful and gimmicky borgs though. But something like a sort of fodder nuzlocke could be fun, too, where everyone'd pick two borgs just for their bizarreness, and you use the entire list, but a lost borg is R.I.P.. So you'd really have to plan assaults.
But yeah, what I had in mind here right now is just a GFF-assembled team that isn't easy mode and is fun.
And... Carigun, sorry, but I'm changing your borgs into a Carrier Helicopter. Because it's almost like Carigun Helicopter. And a bit like a saucer? Fortress borgs are just too strong for this.

I mean, what if some of the choices are genuine favorites? O,o

That's what I mean. As far as I can tell, these are all of our favorite borgs, and that's what I want to do here. But, you know, everyone loves Gold Hero and Cyber Ninja and whatnot, so these are our favorite borgs that aren't that exceptionally good or easy to power through stages with.
Of course, Teleport Ninja is my top pick under any circumstances. Doesn't happen to have beam spam or giant wall-piercing beams.

Borgs don't have to be beam-spammer to be good, you know I mean, I have a Level 10 Silver Ruby Knight, and let me tell you... Ruby Knight can do ridiculous amounts of damage just oh-so easily, and with such an effective means of doing so, too.

Well, no, but a Ruby Knight's probably not going to be beating a Beam Gunner... I love Ruby Knight, though. Mechs with lances are among my favorite things in life. But it's still a Knight Borg with that niche of close combat and average mobility.
Would have been fine for it to be suggested. I didn't mean for this to be a cannon fodder run, but more everyones' favorite borgs that take a brain to use, or just fun borgs you like because of their unique stuff.

I actually think that Ruby Knight could slaughter Beam Gunner. They both have boost jump, but Beam Gunner's the one who needs to circumvent the almighty shield, one that can rapid-fire bombs while still blocking o.o I actually regard Ruby Knight as being better than Sapphire Knight, simply because Ruby Knight has no lag, and can take out close-range borgs much better.
