They arent almost the same character they are exactly the same character XD. Also, they dont have similar powers slade is like batman but less smart and more deadly. Idt he has a super power. Whereas wolverine cant die unless he is completely disentigrated and has nothing to regenerate from. I give it to wolverine. His animal killing instinct plus his healing factor basically ensures victory. Slade has regeneration as well. He also has near-superhuman strength, agility, and is very intelligent and cunning. Wolverine has bone claws (which are andamantium after his transformation) and regeneration. The only way Slade was killed was by being dropped into lava. So yes. Their powers are similar. Delving futher into similarities, they're both quick to anger, and since Slade's manipulative words could easily cause Wolverine to act rashly in blind fury...I give it to slade. Especially if we're talking about the "Trigon's Herald" version. Lobo vs. Wolverine would be a better match up considering neither of them can die. God you all don't know your DC material well. Also, Al, Pikachu. Monobear is kinda...not powerful at all outside of its planning. |

Goku just has to use his instant transmission and gather all the dragon balls
He then has a vast amount of choices as to what to wish for in order to beat superman, especially since superman is vulnerable to magic
You know, the MAGIC dragon balls
Plus, goku has been resurected so many times, he is practically magic

Dead pool cant die. He auto wins. Since you didn't seem to notice the FIRST TIME, Read the abilities of Deathstroke.Really it'll take a lot of punishment for either of them to die. HOWEVER, Deadpool does have "better" tools at his disposal, so I'll give this to Deadpool. (Though metal's still dead set on Slade being a weakling. :I ) |

Slade can still be killed even in his trigon steroid thing form. Which to my knowledge was a teen titans (show) thing. But anyways. Even with his healing factor, deathstroke can still die, hes been killed off so.many times its unreal, then the writers ressurect him.with mcguffins, cause he is a cool character to write. But deadpool cant die. He has been sliced to ribbons, on multiple occaisions, incinerated, crushed in car crushers, shot into the sun, well i think you get the point. He cant die, its his thing. Plus he has quips, which makes him amazing. |

Batmans iq is well over 180.... i think that snake stands a chance, but batman i think is the superior contender here. Assuming we are talking about bruce wayne and not dick grayson. Dick was an awful batman. I hate to quote from page one this late, but Solid Snake's IQ is roughly 180 as well.
It's worth noting you guys might be mixing up Big Boss and Solid Snake. SS is a clone of BB, cultured as part of the "Les Enfants Terribles" project. The project also included Liquid Snake. Essentially (though it's at times vague in the canon) Liquid got the recessive genes and Solid the dominant genes.
I'll avoid any serious spoilers (I'm talking end of game spoilers, anything I've said already is pretty much synopsis material), but Solid Snake is pretty much the ultimate soldier.

Idt you read what i said right. Batmans iq isnt 180 its over 180, somewhere in the 300 range if memoey serves. He is a twelfth level intellect as i stated previously. |

I never spoke of how smart batman is or isn't, I was just bringing up relevant information about Solid since no one had. We also have to consider his nanomachines, and relevant tech.

the justice league, the super friends I didn't know this batman's universe vs Solid Snake. Let's keep it at a reasonable scale. I checked the batman wiki, and a video from one of the animated series. Metal Gear REX (the one Old Snake [aka Solid Snake in MGS4] has piloted) seems to be several times larger than the Batbot, and more suited to (open field) conventional warefare, where as the batbot seems to be melee combat centric and have evasion measures MGREX might not be able to track in an urban environment. I couldn't say for sure, but I think this is more of an even match up than you might assume.
As far as the Jet, I don't know what AA REX is equipped with, so I'll have to look into it. Snake is trained in the use of everything from C4 to self-propelled remote-controlled grenades. If we're arguing that Batman might have traps set up for Metal Gear REX, or personal arments in case he has to bail out of whatever he's using to fight a MGREX, Solid is more then capable of using explosives to continue fighting even when REX is disabled. Another thing is that a lot of Batman's vehicle tech seems to utilize radars and side/back mounted cameras so he can tactically survey a situation- Solid has something called a Chaff Grenade, which will interrupt any surveillance or radar transmissions in a rather large area (judging by MGS1 alone, it's effective against tanks, giant robots' navigation and target tracking systems, cameras and infrared sensors). im pretty sure bats has wimpy namby pamby metal gears covered. I'd actually like to see how Batman would handle some of the Peace Walker missions. You play as Big Boss in that one, and fight some MASSIVE Metal Gears, including the Cocoon, described as "a giant land battleship lined with numerous fixed gun ports, six main Gatling guns, missiles, hedgehogs, a large-caliber cannon, and a robotic arm equipped with a chainsaw and machinegun." I mean to say, Gekkos (what I think you might be thinking of. The robots with the fleshy legs that go "Mooooo"), are relatively weak and small compared to what other nations and organizations have built. |

Batman would already be inside that thing and have it disabled before the fight started. Its what he does. I give them a decent fight, but i think it goes to bats on this one. As far as the batbot goes... some series depict it as roughly the size of hulkbuster ironman, others its a freaking gundam. Its weaponry is also rather varied between appearances. Idk, i suppose that these fights are rather ridiculous anyways, due to the differences of physics in each respective series etc.

The hype around batman is getting a bit ridiculous, and this is getting a little bit ridiculous. As Aspect mentioned, this isn't universe vs universe, and no one can end the fight before it has begun. This is neutral space, so no 'someone gets to strike first.' Even if it was, Aspect laid out quite a few good points that I think easily proves that batman doesn't have much of an advantage. There is a differences in physics in most places, however metal gear and batman don't work with anything particularly supernatural (besides DC crossovers) and again, this is a neutral space. Its not taking place in one universe or the other.

Are we really going to look into the extended universe? Even if we did, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it anymore since he left the sinestro core. Even if he had, Snake has survived many psychologically tormenting expereinces such as psycho mantis, or the sorrow. Although I guess it was technically big boss who survived the sorrow... and solid snake has inherited all his best traits. I seriously think Snake has this one.
