Does this mean no Golden Mecha Tiger X? Cuz I switch between that and Magnet Hulk/MikeZ colours.

Well, finally a console release... Pretty late in October, and of course, we still don't know if we'll be getting it outside of Japan, but ArcSys seems to be generous with giving us all these fighting titles, so we'll see... But there's two more announced characters: Kagura Mutsuki: kurushii.tv/Dustloop/Articles/130416_Famitsu_01.jpgand Yuuki Terumi: kurushii.tv/Dustloop/Articles/130416_Famitsu_02.jpgThe latter is for pre-orders... But I assume he'll be paid DLC, too. In other news... Guilty Gear XX Accent Core R+ is getting its Vita release here in a few days, on the 23rd. While that's not some great news (I don't think either of us have a Vita, and either way, obviously the EU version is getting gimped), many are hoping that the R+ patch for the console versions follows shortly after...

Didn't hear about that, that's awesome unfortunately I can't view those links. Still, instead of giving us other versions of characters who we already have, why don't they make Saya, Jubei, and Kokonoe playable?

So I've been playing BlazBlue on and off every now and then. Finally bought Calamity Trigger, Chrono Shift and CS:Extended.
Can't seem to get any combo involving Lambda-11's j.2DD to work consistently though...

It's probably a hotlinking defense. The links should work from here: www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?508-BBCP-JP-Console-Release-Date-New-Characters! So I've been playing BlazBlue on and off every now and then. Finally bought Calamity Trigger, Chrono Shift and CS:Extended.
Can't seem to get any combo involving Lambda-11's j.2DD to work consistently though... Those are kind of tricky, but you just have to keep practicing until you get the jump and attack timing down. Also, the timing may be slightly different for some characters, like Carl or Hazama, who have smaller or awkward hitboxes while falling. But it's really just a matter of repeating it until it becomes second nature.

So does anyone still play this? More specifically on PS3? Would like to see if I can come close to matching against anyone.

I got Continuum Shift II for the 3DS a few days ago but I don't think it has online matchmaking?

Unfortunately I have the Xbox360 version, which means that I have to pay a monthly fee just to play the freaking online multiplayer. Because of this I haven't been playing much of it except local multiplayer. Maybe I'll play more when Chrono Phantasm comes out.

Simply amazing visuals... Honestly didn't think it could get much better than Blazblue, especially 3D, but that's just viewtiful. Wonder what new characters they'll bring out, if any.
Also, a bit off-topic but... I do aim to get P4A, but in short, the situation here isn't ideal. And Animal Crossing is coming out soon, which might take precedence whenever I do get a chance to pick a game up... And Project X Zone, although that can wait a lot.

Yay I can play P4A with someone! When you get P4A back definitely play through story mode. Mainly for Labrys, because it can be pretty funny, and because there are heavy hints about what to expect from persona 5, including the introduction of a new (Or old?) villain in a cliffhanger ending. Still can't beat score attack. Got past Yosuke once... *sigh*
I like the new visual style although I'm a little disappointed that it isn't a new fighter (although apparently mori wants to do one of those too on the new PS4) and that the visual style isn't getting applied to BBCP. I guess I can live with it though and the new guilty gear does look awesome. Would have been nice to see new characters though. Also, I really want a sequel to P4A. I would be very happy with a persona game with the entire P3+P4 cast, so you know, Yukari, Junpei, Ken, strega, the M.C, and of course Adachi. I don't care if some of them are dead I still want to play as them!

Should this just be like, a general ArcSys fighters topic? So yeah... Hoping us 360 users get that +R patch for Guilty Gear soon. As I mentioned in a certain other topic, thanks simply to the work of just one song, I suddenly feel my fighting spirit returned. (Am I just that one-track minded?)Not sure if I want to go back to Blazblue now, or Guilty Gear. Even with the +R patch coming, I know it's still gonna feel a bit iffy. I don't think they're gonna improve the lobby either. It seemed so dated and thrown in, but that's just a nitpick. Still, lazblue just feels way better to me, GG always felt a bit off with how the hits and combos 'feel' and hitstun works. Especially the supers... I can rarely pull them off for some reason unless I do them really slowly, while on other fighters I can pull them off near-instantly. So I think I'll just wait for the update before picking it up again after all. Well, on Blazblue I think I'm going back with Bang, and aspiring Carl. To be honest Jin just felt too easy. Great projectiles, speed, range, ice car across screen, freezing, many easy combos, reversal attack... Bang and Carl are definitely more rewarding in the end, Carl especially. Felt so awesome to get his combo down, or even just pressuring by controlling two 'characters' at once. On a side note... I still kinda wanna learn Hakumen, but he seems more cheese than Jin. Agh, but now the game feels so obscured since everyone got a huge list of changes in Chrono Phantasma! But it's not like even Japan has that on consoles yet... ANYWAY: Somewhat old news, but have you seen this yet? www.eventhubs.com/news/2013/aug/05/guilty-gear-xrd-sign-artwork-and-move-listings-chipp-may-potemkin-and-vemon/I'm liking the designs a lot. They're very similar, but they've adopted more of a Blazblue feel. Potemkin is also a lot more Tagery. And this video at 1:00. First recorded gameplay footage? It's looking really good... The 3D thing works extremely well, it looks like beautiful 2D sprites, and... Seconds before 2:00, whoa! That KO view stuff is looking awesome! And apparently, 'dust' was it? Looks like that special launch attack now has a dynamic camera, too, as well as super attack startups.

Yeah I've been keeping up with xrd news and it does look awesome. Guilty Gear always felt odd to me too, it has harder inputs and they have to be more precise than Blazblue. Just different I suppose.

Kokonoe joins the fray! That's the only article saying anything about paid DLC, though. It would be a shame if she were held to ransom. Regardless, it was about time. Why does chronophantasma have about 6 new characters yet guilty gear xrd hasn't had a single new character announced yet?

Ok these two characters look AWESOME. TERUMI CAN RUN. I may have to reconsider my main.
EDIT: Ok so I found a better quality gameplay video which has what I originally posted plus an extra battle against Kagura at the beginning.
In other news I've been wondering if I should import this. My good friend has a PS3 with which I can use to play it and I'm quite happy with waiting for youtube videos of the story mode, since it's all just visual anyway. In the meantime I can get my hands on the new 6 characters (I can live without Kokonoe) and get in some practice, Japanese text be dammed. I'll have to get some money though, so maybe I'll give it to him as a Christmas present or something. It's out on the 24th of this month in japan by the way.

Kagura so awesome. I'm sure he's going to take a lot of heat from Ragna and Jin mains. Maybe Azrael will also contribute to that. But definitely Kagura. The new characters are great, but I'd still go with Bang or Jin, and some Carl. Anyway, have fun with a PS3 and BlazBlue. I leave the rest in your hands. On Monday, via Arc System Works official USA Facebook Account it was announced that the North American Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R patch would be made available before the end of this year 2013.

Bullet was the other major new main and I'm sure that lots of the people who were waiting patiently to play Kokonoe all these years will take up that opportunity to main her too. So will plus R be hitting europe around that similar time frame too? I'm not particularly interested in heading back to the game until then.
