Goron tunic, hookshot.
Put on the tunic, go to death mountain crater, use hookshot to "fly" across broken bridge. (use the posts above each section as a target.) shiek appears, learn bolero of fire, proceed through giant templey looking doorway.

I always thought the fun of playing games was playing it for yourself and only posting updates and asking for help when you desperately need it... also hasn't this thread served it's purpose now? Probably should be sent to the graveyard.

^OoT is overrated...sure, it's a great game, but the BEST? (its what Nintendo Power says too.) nah.
I've played, in this order (note: my first LoZ game WAS Wind Waker, but I didnt beat it till much later.)
Link to the Past (beaten once, but I played 3 before.) LoZ 1 (beaten twice.) LoZ PH (what really got me into LoZ, beaten 6 times.) LoZ FSA (beaten with 1 friend) LoZ ST (Beaten twice, compares to PH very undesirable for me.) LoZ OoT (Beaten thrice) LoZ WW (The most recent one I've beaten, working on three times now.) LoZ Master Quest (Still working on it. ;D ) LoZ FS (In progress) Minish Cap (In progress, early game) LoZ MM (in progress, late game) Link's Awakening (In progress, early game.) Skyward Sword (Will buy in the future.) OOA/OOS (I don't think I'll ever get this.) Twilight Princess (^)

It does. Majoras mask is where the split timeline theory comes in.

Yep. Ww and tp.
If link never returned from termina then see ww, and if he did return, see tp

This is one timeline.
Lttp --> LoZ --> Link's Awakening --> OoT --> MM --> WW --> PH --> ST
Lttp actualy comes before the original. Link's Awakening goes from Lttp. Time skip, OoT. Immediately after, MM. LONG AFTER, WW, immediately after PH, and 70 years later (one of Tetra's crew is still alive) ST.
Explanation... Link to the past is first, as Link isnt adventuring. It's where he first gets his sword. He is adventuring in the original already, where he gets a new sword. Link's Awakening is immediately after, where he gets caught in a storm. He loses his memories here. It is rumored OOS/ OOA are immediately after LA. I dont think so. Next is OoT, and MM is where the intro to WW is. This is where he is when Ganon returns. Long skip, WW. Hyrule is flooded (no talk of Termina.)At the end of Ww Link goes with tetra's crew. Enter the beginning of PH, where the ghost ship returns. At the end of PH Tetra states they are going to a new world. Cue ST.

Actually seasons and ages come in between LoZ and links awakening. Supposedly.
Also this is where the time split occurs.
Mm-> ww | --> tp
Twilight princess assumes that link made it back to hyrule after saving termina, he began living in ordon village, and then was there to face ganon when he returned. Or something like that.
Skyward sword is the first game chronologically. It details how the master sword was created.
This leaves : minish cap, and the four swords games to fit in. But i like to think they are in an alt universe because 4 sword= master sword. In terms of power and such.
