i have got norton but dont what is the best place to go I typically use dll-files.com, myself. I'm not 100% sure it's actually safe, but it hasn't adversely affected my computer yet, so it probably is. Just Google the DLL file you need and it should be one of the first results. (Off-topic: Does that link to the Google search work in Windows? I see "&client=ubuntu" in there among all the nonsense of the URL, and I'm not sure if that makes it unusable in other operating systems.)

a bit of software telling me i have under 300 errors??? No, not the software, the DLL. There should be a link there that says something along the lines of "Download ZIP" and the ZIP is the DLL in a compressed (zipped) folder. It's right under their inordinately large "Download our completely useless software now!" button. The one under the file specifications.

Same comes up for me when I drag and drop, so I don't think that's how you're supposed to do it. Open up Dolphin then click Open and browse for the iso. It should work then. You might also want to configure the controls via Options>Gamecube Pad Settings to something not so awkward. For example this is mine. i.imgur.com/Or5w7.png

Well, first of all, I'm not sure if it really makes a difference, but the Gotcha Force file on my computer is a GCM file, not an ISO file, so if you got your ISO from an absurd bunch of archive files in a RAR or something like that I'd look through it for a GCM and try that. If that's not the issue you probably downloaded a bad copy.

Um, did you just rename the .rar file to an .iso?

www.win-rar.com/download.htmlDownload Winrar from there and install it. Ignore the other languages and OSes. 32/64 bit issue is same as before, it'll depend on your computer. It'll ask you to buy it, but don't do it. Just get the free trial. Rename the .iso or .gcm back to .rar and open it with winrar. It'll look like this. i.imgur.com/OyH6V.pngHit the "extract to" button and then "OK". It'll extract all the files into a folder named "Gotcha_Force_USA_NGC-GCiSOZONE." I moved the folder inside the Dolphin folder but it doesn't really matter. Inside the folder will be a bunch of other rar files named "1u-gotcha-force". Extract one of them. It'll create a folder named "1u-gotcha-force". Inside the folder is the iso "Gotcha Force NTSC-U". This is the one you want to load into Dolphin.

have i missed a step because i open dolphin then go for the file then it opens a black window that changes to light gray and dolphin stops working The black screen is probably normal. I don't know the specifics of the black screen you're talking about, but it always brings up a black screen when you start it, followed by some yellow text showing up and the game starting. If you're using Windows 7 I'm pretty sure it changing to light gray is just an indication that the program isn't responding, but it's been a while since I've used 7, so I'm not entirely sure. Without any knowledge of the nature of the text on the blue screen, I'd have to guess your computer ran out of RAM. That's the only thing I can think of that I'm pretty sure can cause a blue screen after startup. did i have to change the file type for Gotcha Force NTSC-U You don't change the file type for anything. (You pretty much never want to change the file type for anything without the use of a program of some sort.)
