Devil survivor... again... beat Amane's route and 8th day. Okuninushi was a disgustingly easy pushover. As for the story it was certainly interesting. I hate the concept of God as portrayed in this game a little less but... whatever.
I'm not particularly happy about the fact that I failed to beat Lucifer, however. I'm going to play through again with some of my new demons and bonuses and go for Gin's route which apparently has the largest pool of playable characters. BRING IT ON!

I guarantee you Gin route will be less interesting too. Try Yuzu's route, AKA The birth of the Honda car empire. Atsuro's route and Naoya's are my favorites still. Also, I just beat Dragon Quest Heroes; Rocket Slime for the 10th(or more) time. Of course, it's far from over. The game has ended, but I still have to build up my ultimate tank/ammo/crew and take on tank masters.

I can beat the other routes once he's out of my hair, using Lucifer. Who said Amane's route wasn't interesting? If anything it was MORE interesting than Naoya's route, just half as difficult and awesome. But not what I wanted. Have you ever beat Lucifer before?

I just finished Dragon Age origins. I can't believe I never tried the ruthless mage path before. So much fun. Dat blood magic, bro.
Although by the end of the game, I had barely any followers. They probably caught onto my "Turn around and I promise I won't sell you" personality.
Now I wanna see what affect this will have on a new DA:2 save.

I "beat" Shin Megami Tensei IV and by "beat" I might have purposefully gotten the bad ending because I was fed up with everyone's s***...Oh well there is always New Game+

Actually decided to go for a legitimate path in SMT: IV and got the Neutral path which I finished. Two paths to go. I'm going to go for Law next.

NES Puzznic. Just... holy s***. That got downright ridiculous there at the end. You should play it in its entirety, it's pretty awful in most respects but the basic premise is interesting enough to make it worth playing anyway.

Beat Devil Survivor 2 last night and it was INCREDIBLE! Still having a tough time weather or not I liked this one more than the first. I'll probably need to take a look at the other endings and play through break record when it comes out. How did they make such an inferior anime adaption out of this? Oh, yeah, anime can't have multipule endings, which completely undermines the point of the game. Oops. Also...Godlike final boss and music. Literally. Actually scratch that the entire soundtrack was essentially superior to overclcoked. Anyone who hasn't played DS overclcoked and the sequel are doing themselves a major disservice. Also in case anyone who has played the game was wondering, I went for the Anguished One's route first because the anguished one is the best and has the best ending, even better than the best ending. Now that I've done that, I can finally get back to forming a strong pokemon team- Oh goddamit! Legend of Heroes: Trails in the sky just arrived. ... I'll see you guys sometime next week... am I to never grace the Elysium fields of pokemon multiplayer? All these amazing games are chaining me to their brilliance.

Thought I should mention that I did eventually beat bravely default- I feel really bad about switching to normal mode at my second attempt at the boss, because I also noticed that I had made some dreadful mistakes in my initial set up such as not setting my super moves to the weakness of the boss. I guess I couldn't have known, but it certainly made the second time much easier. Putting the ribbon which blocks all status ailments on my healer, Agnes, was probably a good decision, too, not sure why it was on Edea to begin with. I kind of feel like going back to give the final boss on hard mode. That said I also have a few loose ends to tie up, I still have a few optional bosses to mop up.
Anyway, I can highly recommend this game to any fan of... well, video games really. And 3DS owners. I'm still debating weather this or Devil Survivor: Overclocked is my favorite 3DS game right now. I'm inclined to say BD because Overclocked was a remake of a DS game.
I think enthusiasts of the earlier Final Fantasy games will especially appreciate the game, and not just for its nostalgic elements, which in retrospect I think are more of a selling point or a mask than elements that make up the meat of the story, neither would I say that the nostalgia is what makes it so enjoyable. Then again, I don't hold any nostalgia for any final fantasy games so I can't be too sure. I may talk about the story sometime in march or may, do a bit of research, wait for everyone intending to play it to play it and let it stew in my mind before really making a final verdict, as right now I have an idea in my mind of it's equivalents in other media but I honestly can't be too sure. That said, there was a sequel hook at the end and I'm certainly looking forward to it now. I hope the now bloated Final Fantasy franchise and other such Square Enix titles will be able to pay for this series, then again I do hear the series continue unless the sequel, Bravely Second sells well. I hope it does well, especially since it's a continuation of a story ripe for further exploration.
Negative aspects? Well, it will be dependent on subjective taste in all honesty. I wouldn't sing the praises of the art style, not just because of the chibi look but because the characters can also look somewhat weird against the backgrounds but it's mostly nit picky and I do adore the costume designs(and the music is also great). I especially love customizing appearance in my games, and it all looks good. Some costumes also seem to callbacks to earlier games, the only one I really picked up on was that the dark knight job looks basically identical to Kain/early game Cecil from Final Fantasy 4. Although the Dragoons from that game are basically Valkyries in this... I think the largest thing however will come around late game. I'd like to draw a direct comparison here as a test of one's tolerance for this late game set up but that might make it too obvious. I think the best way to describe it would be tedious. For me, it was a fun and necessary kind of tedious that makes the story as special as it is. It will become obvious to anyone who plays through it, and without trying to spoil there is little I can say in defense. So yes, that's my recommendation. If there's one thing I can say about the plot, it's that it proves to me that without a doubt that social media CAN be used in an involving manner to enrich a gaming experience. I hope this game sets an example for future games wishing to include this crap.

^ Did you find out who the true culprit is? Surely the game shouldn't end if you don't throw him into the TV.

Well if it isn't him then no. Nanako came back fighting her condition and teddie went back to tv. Time moved forward till the 1 year mark
