Well, just completed another stellar Layton game. (Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask)
I'm glad that it was miles better than the spectre's call, I'm placing the Miracle mask just behind Unwound future as my favorite Layton game.
Looking forward to Azran legacies next year. Well, I was until I found out that Layton wont be the main character in the games after Azran legacies...

The cel-shaded graphics and new mobile suits were great, but DW: Gundam 2 was so much better... A decent and lengthy story mode, and then then separate crossover story modes for every character. Most had decent plots, and lots of good dialogue.
I remember Judau's, or maybe it was Seabook's story (they were both involved, along with Roux and the Puru twins), where it involved fighting Master Asia clones and the Devil Gundam and other stuff, felt like it could have been an actual crossover anime movie.
But gameplay-wise, too. The maps in 3 were just really bad... Every room is a rectangle, and connected by narrow rectangular halls. DW: Gundam 2 had actual open maps that felt like warzones, not constant rooms. Also there's that emergency dash, that ruins the whole point of Dynasty Warrior's combos. If you get hit just hit boost to fly away mid-combo with invincibility, at only the cost of a fast recharging boost meter.

I've finally 100% completed the emotional rollercoaster that is Katawa Shoujo. And just in time for the 1-year anniversary of its release too. ;D

Beat Sticker star... *Sigh*
Like a regular main mario game except with a unique look and an RPG battle system. I think I'll go play thousand year door again soon to remember why I liked the series...
It wasn't bad though. The final boss was genuinely challenging, and really satisfying to beat down. Does Bowser ever say anything, though? EVER? Come on he's one of the funniest characters! Not to mention it diminishes his awesomeness as the final boss. Also, if mario was given one wish at the end, why didn't he wish for Bowser to never be able to do bad things again? I mean I know that would ruin the franchise, and apparently he liked Kirsty, but still it makes no logical sense... geez everyone seems so used to the routine that not even peach cares anymore. In other paper marios she actually had personality... oh well, whatever. Nintendo should do what they need to do to get casuals in, then they can ramp things up again as they used to and get some really good games in.

Castlevania- Symphony of the night. Yes, I beat the mirror castle for the real ending. Really fun and what little story there is is actually pretty good for the PS1 era. Simple and bare bones but it gets the right emotions in the right places.

I never played that one, but I really liked the games with Soma. My favorite one was Portrait of Ruin, though.

Is symphony of the night the one with alucard or hector and maxim? Cause i never could beat the hector one. I could only get the griffons wing(?) To work like 3 times in the entirety of my playthrough.

Symphony of the night isn't on the DS...
It's the one staring Alucard.

Strangely enough, I was searching the game two days ago. It's also on PSP, with another classic and a remake.

The XBLA version of Sonic Adventure 2. I have already beaten SA2: Battle on the Gamecube previously though so I'm not sure how much this counts.

I don't remember where I last left off, but this is what I've beaten so far this year:
Shadow of the Colossus Cave Story+ Excitebots: Trick Racing WarioWare: Smooth Moves Beat Hazard Ultra Gotcha Force Play #9
All great games (well, Beat Hazard was okay...and Smooth Moves has a fun single player but the multi is lacking, which is a huge shame), but no more until this semester is over! *Goes to do final projects*

Halo 4 Zone of the Enders
both solid games. What's amusing to me is that they're so similar overall, and I have about the same gripes and likes about each. Onto Z.O.E. 2!
