I've only played ranger shadows of almia, or 2 I think. I thought it was pretty good. It is. I enjoyed shadows. Not the first one though.

In the first one, didn't you have to draw a set number of loops around the pokemon in a row as opposed to shadow's HP bar system? I can see how the first one would be annoying in that sense.

Whatever, it is named Polygon, so i forgot the actual name I got it from my firered, from the casino, and named it polygon. I then transfered it to pearl, and evolved it twice into Porygon z

Ah. That would explain it. For a moment there I thought there was somehow some statistical advantage to not evolving it.

I beat Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance over the weekend. God the end game bosses were both really fun to fight and ball-bustingly hard. Overall I really enjoyed the game.

Xenoblade.
Great game...except for a few things. IMO, no offense to others, but that ending was bad. Full of Deus Ex Machina, and it was like they were giving a last ditch attempt to make a "cool plot twist" while explaining everything that's happened. Ruined the game for me lol, but I loved the game itself, just walking around and adventuring.
Onto The Last Story, I guess.

Finished Super Meat Boy's main game.
I don't think I've ever died so many times in a game. It's truly a platformer that I'm glad I played. Definitely recommend if you have a PC/360 and like platformers (and even if you don't it's still fun).

Ocarina of time 3D. It took me roughly 7 long years starting with the gamecube version, but I finally finished that goddamn game!
... Severely underwhelming, Zelda games that succeeded it are better in every. Single. Way.

Finally... Someone that doesn't hold Ocarina of Time on an Akis pedestal. It was a great game, but I definitely enjoyed Wind Waker and Twilight Princess more, story and gameplay.
Well, I just very recently finished Final Fantasy VIII. First FF game I've finished... But my only other was FFX and it wasn't really my own copy. What a nice story... It was a very realistic story based on Squall's life in the military. No traveling around the world constantly and crazy out-of-life experiences and fighting tons of giant monsters and crazy villains. Like the first 15 hours are generally experiences in the military campus and nearby areas, the story fights are against other militaries...
Not towards very late game do you actually get to really travel the world map more than a few miles and start getting into the more world-based plot. Not hating on stories like FFX at all, but I just think it was a nice change, how contained the story was, it seemed more realistic and character-based. The end of course gets pretty crazy and fantasy, but since it's only close to the end, it's all very climax-y.
Also, you can beat the game at level 1... If you weren't forced to get EXP at some points anyway. Enemies level with you, so the combat is really just about making good calls, and junctioning magic well to your characters' stats. Oh, every character can use magic, and there's no MP. You 'draw' magic stocks from enemies, so they're kind of like items powered by a stat. Then characters equip GFs which gives them abilities and stuff... Cool RPG, and no grinding.
tl;dr I beat FF8 and Squall and gang were great characters and the story was very 'contained' and interesting and realistic and Squall's character development (and others) was great and the romantic side of the story was really nice and the RPG gameplay is unique and fun.

^ I used to have FF8. Too young to appreciate it though, I remember nothing.
An akis pedestal? HAHAHA! Yeah... I should try... finishing that chapter now... Also death eye I haven't played many of the preceding zeldas. except Zelda II. I hated that one.

Also death eye I haven't played many of the preceding zeldas. except Zelda II. I hated that one. Zelda II's the weird one. Try the original, if you have the means to do so. Exploration at its finest. Just don't use any sort of reference material, it ruins the experience. tl;dr I beat FF8 and Squall and gang were great characters and the story was very 'contained' and interesting and realistic and Squall's character development (and others) was great and the romantic side of the story was really nice and the RPG gameplay is unique and fun. Agreed. I'd go so far as to say it's better than VII. Much deeper gameplay. It's pretty great. Not sure if it beats X's millions of bonus bosses I haven't beaten yet, but the fact that it's even a question just goes to show how great it is.
