Just got ZombiU... so I'm juggling between Icarus and playing that for the first time... mmm... I'll come on for a but I wont stay long unless I actually start playing well.
Oh, does Claxus have my 3DS code? If its not in the FC thread I'll place it here.

Sorry I left only after a few games, but I feel I should actually make some decent weapons and get some more powers before continuing. I'll play for longer next time, if I have some cool things by then.
Past that, I do want to play my new game, so sorry about that. Otherwise, I was surprised I got the victories I did really. I could swear they were both ties. Also, your magnus club was amazing! Not sure if it was lag, but you were zooming around really fast and you were on air and going through walls! Awesome.

Pretty sure most of that was lag. But my zooming everywhere was because I was using bumblebee, warp, and lightweight. The club may be nice, but in a 1v1 it's hard to use my hulking melee. Two hits in a melee combo with it KO any players unboosted in defense though.
Also, finally passed my hedgehog's boosts to an angel bow!
Not exactly what I wanted, but it's good.

It seems I woke up just as you two finished playing...
I would try and get Speed +4 on Magnus Club. Well, I don't have much experience, but I played some LvD against AIs for a while last night, and my Speed +4 Black Club felt a lot better than my other ones.
And I have a love/hate relationship with Staffs now. I swear, they dominate multiplayer with their range and near-OHKOs even with few stars. Their melee is weak but not any worse as a defense. It just doesn't feel right, even when I use them... My Scorpius Staff was borderline-OHKOing across the map with its shots that travel pretty much instantly, and it's a generic one I got from the Zodiac room.
On the other hand, my 4 ranged stars Cutter Palm takes like 4 charge shots to kill anything, with its slower shots that are easy to react to.
I kinda like Divine Bow, and the Aurum Blade I just unlocked. I've also taken a liking to Samurai Blade...

^Magnus Club is the only club that boosts speed. Speed isn't a problem, it's just its general short range. Also, staff shots aren't too hard to avoid.

Well, they're not, really. But I think they do too much damage for being some of the fastest and longest range shots. Like 100s with no ranged stars. But, you can't avoid a Scorpio Staff shot normally, because it's pretty much on you as soon as it's shot.
I still think you should use a Magnus Club with Speed +4, just because it has no real ranged option, and being even faster than it is naturally would make it more of a threat.

It's just attack boosts to ranged or melee, but they make a big difference. 6 being the maximum.

Lol, I used my Magnus Club to make this:
Boom Orbitars
Value: 194
Ranged: 0
Melee: 6
Melee Combo +3
Sub-200 value Orbitars that already had above-average melee, with max melee AND melee combo boost. It's Magnus Club, only FASTER and actual range.
However, the melee combo is actually much weaker. Magnus's melee combo did 247. Boom does 190. However, both dash attacks do roughly 160.
