Hey, I used the Ice Climbers... Even if they're not exactly cool, they're fun to play. You can desync them, and it's like controlling two at once (as in, separate moves at different times), it's kinda crazy. They also have OP chaingrabs, but that takes some skill. And Charizard and Bowser... If those two have similar movesets, then Squirtle or Mario are similar to Bowser, too. Well, Custom Robo has near infinite potential for a character, it's a shame it's only ever been an assist. Ray 01 would definitely be a stupidly awesome brawler. I also want to see some Chou Soujuu Mecha MG. It'd likely be an assist trophy at best... But seriously, the game's pretty incredible. It's a DS mech game where you control mechs with the touchscreen (and d-pad to move). Not only that, it's almost like Gotcha Force... There's over a hundred mechs to collect, each with their own touchscreen 'cockpit' controls and attacks and functions (some can transform or have other gimmicks)... And the game's about fighting some evil force of robots that all look similar (and all have the same face). Don't get me started on how you can pick up and toss buildings around (even with a sword  ) Anyway, it's a seriously underrated beautiful gem of a game with a Gotcha Force amount of content and replayability... And a super fun control scheme that makes it very mech-like and awesome to swing your fists or weapons around and crash the death force into buildings. Well... I just wish it'd make some sort of appearance besides a single trophy. Eh, squirtle and mario both have that useless water gun/fludd thing. By similar i mean fire breath, claw swipe. And they are both big and lumbering, stompin around and such. But generally, most of the characters who were clones in melee fight more like upgrades/heavily customized versions of previous brawlers, ie capt falcon and ganondorf. Rather than just being clones. Samus and lucario/mewtwo (in melee) are good examples. They have a few similar moves, but mostly play different and such. Ganondorf and falcon is probably a better example though Oh also id like ROB to return. As well as dark knight sonic. 1) gotta represent the story book games somehow if your gonna keep sonic and 2) exaclibur sonic would be the coolest f-smsh ever. Actually captain falcon not having blue falcon as a final smash and instead doing some super mega falcon pawmch ghe ground and make a planet sized explosion would be the coolest f-smsh ever but anyways. Plus as fun as regular sonic is to play, i get kind of tired of using him after awhile. But marth and ike and link are consistently enjoyable. Oh and maybe have pkmn trainer fight on his own? Thatd be cool, he could use the itemfinder and his bike for attacks or a super rod.... hmm i may be on to something..... they should hire me for character ideas XD kidding, anywho, yes steve i called him bowsy now that i have rambled for like a paragraph. |

Something tells me that sonic team are going to pretend that any sonic game prior to colours basically don't exist anymore in terms of his 3D career, which is disappointing for me personally since my sonic nostalgia comes from the sonic adventure games.
But oh well, I know sonic has already been announced and don't think there's been any major changes, but if there is going to be any changes to him it will probably be the colour powers integration. Which could be cool but now I want Excalibur sonic. Heck, Claburn sonic as a regular character? anyone? I feel like I'm a member of a dying breed of people who enjoyed sonic and the black knight.

Also al, adventure series are by far the best sonic games ever. Followed by battle, the original sonic games on sega genesis, and shadow the hedgehog (because its like a darker sonic adventure, and a conclusion of sorts to that series. (Counting sonic heroes...) ) chao world was great. I want chao again /: stupid sega, screw gimmicky gameplay, ill take chao and good "old school" gameplay over that crap anyday. The story book games i get are supposed to be gimmicky and i am okay with that. I havent played secret rings but i loved black knight, it had a cool story, it was fun, it hearkened back to original sonic games, it gave you a sword, you unlocked the other knights for beating it, it gave you a sword, it had multiplayer, heck it even gave you a sword  Anywho, thoss are the sonic chars id want to see possibly. I, for one, really like this choice for multiple reasons;
1. Smash's female roster in brawl was...three. With Wii Fit Trainer and Rosalina it has already almost doubled.
2. The site finally announces a new character instead of a veteran.
3. I really enjoy Rosalina. 3D World gave me a new level of admiration for the better-than-peach "princess." I like her story and she's a pretty cool character. This is the kind of thing that makes me consider using her as an alt.

They pick some stupid character no one really wants who gets a spot that could be filled by a character we actually care about. In example: dr mario in melee. And.... rob? In brawl. I honestly cant think of anyone from brawl really....... oh wait wario, god theyve been whoring him out since like wario ware 1. Its stupid. Mewtwo couldve easily filled that spot. Then again im generally just mad that mewtwo isnt in brawl but anywho. Personaly preferences aside, its getting kind of annoying when they do that stuff instead of just taking a pole and seeing which characters are wanted. |
