This guy apparently got the game early and isn't a reviewer who can only show a limited amount of footage (I think. He's posted a ton of footage already.) so...here you go.
Also I'm really liking how much the menu music selection has been increased. Through videos I've heard at least 10 different themes.

So version 1.0.4 is out. There are some minor buffs and nerfs, so I'll go over the big stuff that has been found first.
Robin: ELWIND GRABS BACKWARDS DUOHHH MYGOD Triple Jump glitch is gone.
Ike: Fair now auto-cancels, Nair is supposedly faster as is his running speed. (I believe all of these; I already liked Ike and now he feels even more amazing.)
Shulk: All you need to know about Shulk is that almost every single attack he has is slightly stronger with slightly more knockback.
Rosalina: Luma's recall speed is much faster, attacks nerfed, and Luma takes longer to come back after dying.
ZSS: In general got buffed, except her Zair is much less reliable for recovery.
Meta Knight: A lot of his moveset is stronger. A particularly huge buff is that BAir KOs around 30% earlier, KOing VERY early for such a quick aerial (after 120% it KOs just about anywhere. If used to edgeguard it'll KO easily before 100.) NAir also KOs 45% earlier, but still doesn't KO consistently everywhere until around 160 (still a very good edgeguarding KO move.) Basically, his KO power is much better.
Pikachu: FSmash, Thunder, and Skull Bash are better.
Olimar: White Pikmin Throw's damage per "tick" is greatly increased.
Little Mac: His Side B recovery is even worse than before, but KO punch is even stronger.
Peach: Instant Turnip glitch removed (so much for using Peach... >_> )
Link/Tink: Bomb Lag cancel glitch is gone.
Wario: Doesn't have that terrible air release anymore, which means Little Mac can't get an easy KO Punch on him anymore. Doesn't have his epic flying glitch anymore.
Yoshi: Both of his teleport glitches have been patched.
Bowser: Bowsercide now reversed; the opponent can jump out of it at the bottom and attempt to recover instead of bowser being able to (so characters like Kirby, MK, etc just laugh.)
So basically, Robin, Ike, MK, ZSS and Shulk are much better, Rosalina, Peach, Yoshi, Link/Tink and Little Mac are worse, and everything else is either okay in general or minor buffs. (Note this isn't everything. It's only been a day.)

Sheik got nerfed pretty hard. Greninja got some nerfs, too.
Dark Pit's F-tilt not sweetspotted does way less knockback now, and his arrows are far more controllable.
Meta Knight's Dimensional Cape is also stronger now. N-air being better at KOs aside, it also does 10% now, making it his only non-grab/special that does more than 7%.
Dedede got some tiny nerfs here and there.
No changes for Pit, Kirby, Palutena, or Duck Hunt.
Shulk is gonna be mainstream now. His damage did get a slight incrases, but his arts are even stronger now. His F-air also now has very little ending lag. Smash KOs earlier than ever.
I guess that about sums up what's relevant here.

This game continues to surprise me. This game has Baten Kaitos music! Remixed! And sounding amazing! Makes sense since Monolith soft also made Baten Kaitos while under Namco's thumb.

Also this is easily the best thing I have ever heard.
The Kirby fan in me is questioning this remix so much, but it's also squealing with glee.
EDIT: Or maybe the best thing is...this?
EDIT2: ...I think we can safely say Smash Wii U has the greatest soundtrack of any game ever. Baiten Kaitos, Sonic, Pac Man, Mega Man, and tons of music for all of the characters in Smash Bros (Captain...Rainbow...?)
Oh, and, uh, the Sonic Generations remix of Rooftop Run. That automatically makes this game 12x better.
...This music is both helping and distracting me from finishing this project today so I don't have to do it AFTER I have smash Wii U.
