tfw I still play every day but no one else is ever on I'm very busy as of late, that's why my activity on the site has declined a lot lately.

Probably should have posted this earlier.
But yeah the Pittoo conversation definitely hints at a sequel, although Viridi being the villain seems to be too heavily telegraphed. I find it unlikely somehow. But seeing how high quality the models and the portraits are on the Wii U, I hope the Uprising sequel is on the Wii U.

I doubt she'd be the villain, also considering she isn't even evil, but it's definitely shaped up enough to be the first arc of the game, KI:U had several conflicts after all (even though they telegraphed Medusa as the main antagonist and final battle), and it did end with Viridi declaring war. This just further sets things up, that sequel is looking likely and I hope it happens... Uprising's one of the games of my life.
But I'd like if it stayed on the 3DS. Even though I'm probably gonna have a WiiU by the end of the year, Uprising was the perfect handheld game. It's kind of a pick-up-and-play action game, but at the same time, it has a ridiculous amount of content and things to do. Especially with the massive sink of weapons, you can just sit there for hours looking through all your weapons and fusing alone. It's kind of hard to imagine sitting there doing all the game has in one spot, and not being able to fuse at my grandma's house...
But anyway, I've already seen enough of the Uprising banters. I'm gonna wait until I have the game to experience them myself because they're Hamazing, or at least until the game comes out if I can't make myself wait.

Shin Megami Tensei games have a fusion system similar to Uprising, and I can personally say that fusion works perfectly fine in those games on a console and TV. But maybe that's just me, and it may not entirely apply to Uprising.
I liked Uprising for its wonderful visuals and sound, which would only be better on a Wii U. And although I didn't hate the 3DS controls like most people, I think a console version would make the game a lot more fun to play and handle right off the bat. A bigger controller and two analogue sticks would be great for me. They could also put the mid battle conversations and portraits on the game pad rather than clutter the main screen.

On second thought, a new Kid Icarus is dangerously susceptible to becoming an exclusive for the new 3DS... I might have to commit sudoku if that happens, I just can't keep up, there's still a lot of Vita games I want and I don't have a Vita... I think Kid Icarus being an action game (with stages) makes it better to pick up and play in short bursts portable compared to SMT, but anyway, a WiiU version would definitely be a beautiful thing, too. Smash 4 WiiU has some stunning visuals and backgrounds, and I can only imagine what flying segments would look like on a KI WiiU sequel. But I'd hope it was a bit less linear in that case.

I'm pretty sure everyone who would care has already seen this since I accidentally posted it in the message thread, but I'm gonna post it in the right place because why not.

Speaking of that, Bowsercide now leads to Sudden Death on the WiiU version, so the balance patch coming up for the 3DS will likely be the same.

That's how you do what I posted above. (You can only jump out when you're off the screen but before you die. The opponent keeps falling and you can escape.)

I can't take random 1v1s seriously due to all the roll, projectile, and counter spam, so I just Bowsercide everyone. Hey, might as well do it now before it gets patched next week.

I usually only ever run into people who actually make an attempt at playing. If they're being predictable then I'm frequently capable of steamrolling them. You shouldn't resort to their tactics. But whatever, patch is incoming anyway, not that I really understand the appeal of Bowserside. Just makes playing the game a worthless endeavor for all involved.

It's my method of steamrolling the players that aren't worth my time. I finished one said match in roughly 30 seconds just earlier...but then I met this Marth. He was really good and trashed my Bowser (I quickly found out he was for real so I started giving it my all) then I brought in kirby and got thrashed, and then I brought in Mario. ...It was one of the most intense battles I've ever had, and I got to end it in one of the riskiest, most stylish ways ever. MARIOCIDE.

Man, you just went for it right there.
I played against a ZS Samus in for glory the other day. I was using Jigglypuff, and on both KOs I was able to put her to sleep and rest her to death in the 70% range. I felt pretty good about myself, it's rare enough to land rest once, let alone twice.

That reminds me of that match we had (you, me and clax) on release day where I believe you landed rest three times. Good times. But that aside, yeah, Jigglypuff is a ton of fun in this game, and sing is actually extremely useful when it hits since the opponent stays asleep.

Yeah, it's a pretty great feeling when they fall asleep. All that's left is to casually stroll up to them and finish them off.
Is it me, or did rest get a bigger hit box in this game?
