I am a bit ashamed to admit that I haven't really been using any of the new characters except for Dark Pit and Lucina, who are both clones. The bright side though is that I am using Samus and Captain Falcon more than I did last game.

EDIT: Claxus comeback mechanism seems to be working better now.
EDIT2: Launch Star go the right wayyyy don't kill me at 1% y u do this
EDIT3: That moment when Claxus does pixel perfect spacing. GG, that was pretty intense.
Also I realized I have equipment on my only Rosalina set with custom specials. Whoops.
EDIT4: Well.
My 2DS's power went red...like, 5 minutes ago, and it died almost instantly.
That sucks. Sorry, gonna have to stop for today. Shame, Spoon (I think?) just showed up too.

Press Stock on the bottom screen, and you can go into the rules menu. Spoon's the host right now though.

Good games today everyone.
Ike is... Really similar to Shulk. Same punchkickslash jab combo, same F-air, similar B-air and D-air. N-air is practically the same but reversed, and also his safest and main aerial. F-tilts are the same, both are killing moves at high percents, D-tilt are also the same and one of their only fast and safe moves. U-tilt is amazing anti-air and have high priority. Both have a counter and great but very punishable Side-Bs, and an Up-B that can be used to instantly anti-air or combo. 95% of Shulk's moveset is like a spinoff of Ike, U-air, smash attacks, and their B being the only big differences aside from range and speed.
Oh, Robin's F-tilt has very deceptive range, it's really good. It goes a lot further than the animation.

I didn't even realize it, but I've heard a couple of these and didn't give it a second thought.
Turns out when certain characters fight in a 1v1 and win, they get special victory quotes.
I'd heard Palutena's two quotes playing For Glory 1v1s online and never even noticed.

Ho-ray people can be quiet about Mewtwo, and now I feel even better about buying smash 3DS. Ridley is just a boss? There's a ton of other stuff that was revealed to, I'll have to get around to that in the morning.
