Viridi would be a good addition, but I can't imagine her being playable. If assists are still around, I'd say that would fit perfectly, she could throw a reset bomb or something. I seriously doubt they'd ever do more with Palutena than what they did on Brawl. Possibly an assist... But she's really not the battler type at all and is passive throughout the game, only aiding Pit, except for you-know-when.
It's true... People will always complain just because they look similar. But that didn't stop Ganondorf or Wolf or Lucas, and he has more potential to be entirely unique with all Uprising has to offer. He's the only rep I can really see as playable, if they do decide to add one from Uprising. Magnus, somewhat, but he doesn't have much to offer that the Fire Emblem gang doesn't have. Of course, Pyrrhon, Phosphora, and perhaps some others have potential, but I just don't expect them to go with them at all.
Actually, it would be pretty sweet if they replaced the Dragoon instead (or just added), with 3 parts for the GSA, and it would function similarly. But I can see it as a Landmaster type thing, too. The final strike was also really epic in the game, but wouldn't it basically be a Samus sort of thing?
Man, can't wait to see what else they're doing with the game. You can only wish for so much on a new SSB... I just hope they have more Uprising stuff than those two moves.

The godesses themselves aren't too powerful in combat; it could be done. It's more in their dominion over..things. I think it could be done, with her final smash calling upon the forces of nature.
Dark Pit could definetly have a far different moveset. It's just that he probably wouldn't.
HOWEVER, they may use him as a seperate skin, like how there's standard wario and warioware wario.
Also, Magnus could be done. I hope there's more uprising attacks (there probably will be).
They should replace palutena's arrows with something like the flintlock staff (slower activation, lightning fast projectile)
I'd say Palutena's bow is just his standard weapon and most of his attacks will use his weapons.
By the way, what other characters do you want in SSB4? I want Viridi, Geno, and Raichu. Why? Because Raichu is awesome.

For the goddesses, I just can't see them actually fighting. Not that they're too powerful or anything, it's just that that the main two (Palutena and Viridi) never actually fight, so much as just do displays of power. I see them as more indirect fighters, if they fight at all. Usually they just try to nuke each other or have people/monsters fighting for them. And I just don't think Pyrrhon and gang can make the cut because they're very side-character. Dark Pit could easily be a 'Wolf' clone, if anything. Similar moveset, but different weapons with slightly different behaviors and properties. I don't see why they wouldn't do it after Melee and Brawl both had 'clones.' I'd love to see Ray-01 from Custom Robo, huge moveset potential, too. I can't actually think of many others that would probably get in, besides Saki from Sin and Punishment... But, over everything, I would go with the poster mech for Chou Soujuu Mecha MG. I'll only buy this game if Roy gets back. I gave Brawl a chance, but without the unquestionable best character around, the game felt way too empty.

Not meaning to sound like the general community, but Roy really was basically Marth with a suicidal streak. I respect your opinion but that comment feels VERY shallow, to dismiss a game because it doesn't have one "clone" return. Also, Olimar has been confirmed to return at the official smash bros 4 site. Big suprise. (not really) |

This thread has some catching up to do. A lot of things have apparently been announced/shown through the Miiverse and gone completely unmentioned. - People getting sent flying are now color-coded by who did it.
- I have no idea what the X Bomb is, but it's probably Pit's Final Smash if those are still around.
- The Yellow Devil is in the game in some capacity.
- Pit has whatever the Upperdash Arm is and he gets some amount of super armor with it.

Upperdash is one of my favorite weapons in the game. And now I get to abuse super armor with Pit, like I did with Ike.  The X Bomb is probably going to be an item, actually. It's exactly that in its own game, and I don't think you ever even get to use it in single player. That does look a little too dramatic for an item, but... I'd be disappointed if that really was Pit's final smash. Of all things to go with, just a grenade that explodes like an X? And that reset bomb, I wonder what that is. That picture looks more like a cutscene than an assist or something. As for the rest, no comment because it's not Kid Icarus. Though I wonder how Sakurai feels doing all these updates and stuff, since he initially wanted to drop the series. |

Pokemon trainer b&w (the first one.) With serperior,dewott and tepig. Or pignite and oshawott.
And mewtwo.
And lucario
Also possibly blaziken.
With mega stones being a pick up item. Mega pokemon anyone?

I don't really like the idea of having them as items since barely any characters can use them for their intended purpose, but that does remind me that Mewtwo is pretty much confirmed and I'm happy about that. Blaziken not so much, I do remember reading they're giving away Torchics for an event in XY so maybe they're doing something with Blaziken but I'm not betting on it getting in. |

I know that they wont make it a player char but thinking about it id like to see minccino as well.
And maybe zoroark? Other chars would be nice like fire emblem chars and a few capt falcon ones.
Plus some robot masters since megs is a thing now.

Id say based on fan reaction to him not being in brawl being negative, the new movie, and the fact that he was the first mega evolution confirmed gives him a pretty good chance of being included.
Pretty much, may as well be, whatevs. Im going to be pissed if he isnt included.
