Be sure to check youtube comments on these new videos, too. I'm 90% certain I'd have the demo by now if I was living in the US, I saw 3 US codes being posted then-seconds ago on the video I linked to. Just click new comments as opposed to the default top comments first.
I think this may be up there as one of the best marketing ploys of all time. I wasn't all too bothered about getting this version of the game or the demo but people getting exclusive early access alongside the insanity of trying to get a code in general makes me want to play the game more. I think I need to mentally wash myself.

Lol, if you're not the one who sees those random posted codes half a second after the poster, it's already redeemed. But yeah, if you're on the lookout for codes, be ready on the EShop with A05V already inputted.
Beta codes have always been a thing, but the distribution here for one of the world's biggest games is depressing and borderline cruel.

I've spent more time trying to get another code, actually... Saw your post on the demo details topic But it really does seem like the bulk of the codes have been burned out by now... Came across these two things for a chance to get an extra: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMh9LXsFI3Qwww.rafflecopter.com/rafl/display/f402b73c3/They're both semi-obscure, but the chances still suck, but it can't hurt to try I guess. Some people are still receiving code e-mails as the day goes on so there's still some hope for stumbling upon a good topic or something... I hope some big site does one of those big giveaways that always happen whenever early-access keys are a thing tomorrow... If it's any consolation, I can try out/assess different things you may want to know. Demo detail topic? I've posted so much today (and possibly gone insane) that I don't remember 99% of it. I'm still searching; you inspired me again.

www.gamefaqs.com/boards/632937-super-smash-bros-for-nintendo-3ds/70071411?page=1Post an awesome poem or something mang want to restrain from posting all my thoughts here, but I want to say one thing... Wow, CPU. I played with a level 5, and Mario reflected a gyroid rocket at me. The AI backs away and delays their recoveries and dodges if you try to chase them off-stage. Overall they space away in the air. They dodge a lot on reaction to your attacks (and thrown items, etc.)... Pikachu combo'd me with some up-tilts and then an aerial. This was all at level 5!

Well, that sucks... Been seeing some codes the second they're thrown out. Really wish I could have tried to redeem some of those or use your account to keep trying overnight or something...

Yeah...I'm a slow typer anyway. The only thing I can think of is if you happen to enter a giveaway and win you could keep the code. Thanks for trying regardless.
EDIT: And as the clock reaches midnight I realize I never had a chance. Shame...

Well, I tried a bit today and just decided I'm gonna watch as much Smash 4 as I can and learn whatever I can until I ca play it myself. If somehow someone happens to get an extra code, let me know. Otherwise, oh well.

I like Megaman, more than Villager even. Villager feels really odd and situational. Is his down b special only useful for edge guarding?

In addition, his F-Smash already edgeguards. Villager's tree, from what I've seen, is like the Falcon Punch. Not very useful but incredibly powerful. ...Of course, that's just what I see.

Actually, playing around with it some more, I'd say the tree is a bit more useful than the falcon punch. The tree can hurt enemies above you when growing and it has a larger hit radius in general. Both the tree and the sprout disappear after a few seconds but they can be left in place so you can set up earlier phases before returning to it. Bowling ball is also fantastic both for edge guarding and as a smash attack in general. I'm also glad that villager can hop off his missile instead of flying off the stage with it, wish I would have figured that sooner...
I'm glad the omega stage can be selected in the demo, I've grown too used to final destination. I'm so glad I'll be able to see more variety in stages without having to worry about platforms and stage hazards.
I guess I'm going to buy the full version now. Nintendo outsmarted my patience and apathy!

The tree also serves as a wall from any projectiles, and can be cut off a ledge to edgeguard a pretty big area. It's mostly a set-up he can play around, and stop campers to an extent. Also, while the tree is up, you can just use the axe anywhere as an attack that's pretty killer for how fast it is, though it has tons of ending lag.
Level 9 CPU = wao. They're actually still fairly easy, but... They can do pretty amazing stuff. Link's spacing and projectile use is incredible for a CPU. If he gets you above him he'll stay below you like a leech and it can be pretty hard to land again, and he tries to zone you out. Overall the AI is pretty relentless, they shield and grab out of shield to counter, and dodge consistently, pull off some great aerials, space, edgeguard and react to your edgeguarding... Really, if they didn't have patterns to pick up, they'd be comparable to a competent player. I think this time around they can actually be worth something for practicing.
Review time! Mario's FLUDD actually seems pretty great now. Its range is about half of Final Destination, and it really pushes enemies. Of course, his down-grab is pretty amazing now. U-tilt can semi-combo at low percents. Besides that he's still very similar, but his specs are better overall.
Link's bombs are a bit weaker, I survived them in Sudden Death... However, I think knockback in the overall game is less inflated than before, seems like you can get to pretty high percents commonly now in fights. His bombs when shielded, now drop 'softly' and don't explode, so this can be exploited against him pretty easily. D-air is weaker. WAY weaker. I couldn't kill with it at 100%+. However, it now is a meteor smash, and is amazing at that. Dashing A is exactly what he needed... Gives him so many more chances to attack now, and it's a killing move, too, I think it'll mostly replace his FSmash (since FSmash is still horrible in that the second hit can't chain from the first at higher percents). Everything else is mostly the same again, but he's clearly faster.
Villager's recovery is wat. He can Up-b from being magnified at the bottom of the stage to magnified at the top of the stage. Holding Side-B he can do the same but horizontally. This guy will never die from lack of recovery, period. He's a real trickster, his moveset is highly unconventional, but very rewarding. His jab 'combo' only works two hits before the enemy drifts away... He has practically no killing moves ground vs. ground. He has no way of approaching with aerials vs. ground either. F-air and B-air slingshot moves are great, but actually have a big dead zone where the opponent will only flinch a tiny bit, so it's still a pretty close range attack. His B is HAX, he can steal ANYTHING that's thrown (even some Final Smash stuff apparently). He's an excellent character though, it seems he relies on just staying calm and reacting to the opponent and setting up, incredible defensive player but lacks outright offense, though Side-B gyroids are quite abusable, plop them down every few seconds and run behind them. Hitting with Side-B while riding on it can also cancel into any attack, but I haven't really tried comboing.
Pikachu can no longer cancel agility off the ground with jumps, sad. Thunder seems harder to punish... Side-B is slightly more useful. He can do combos with u-tilt. Actually, he's the most unchanged of the cast so far. I believe his agility will see more offensive play though, it has some actual knockback now. I think the first warp can combo into the second, and the second one has a respectable mini-launch knockback, so I can see it being very integral to his competitive play, it may even be able to combo if you position the agility hit well. F-Smash seems crazy strong now... That is all.
And Mega Man really is fun. He seems more like a mix of offense and range. He's actually terrible at camping. His 'pellet' shots barely stun any more than Fox's lasers, and he can easily be punished after shooting since he takes forever in a non-cancelable animation where he lowers his buster. F-Smash isn't too strong but is an excellent projectile FSmash. Main killing moves are down smash and u-tilt. Yep, dat SHORYUKEN is sweet. Comes it near instantly, and if you hit with it frame one, it's like Luigi's sweetspot up-b, except much more reliable. He can combo into a non-sweetspot u-tilt from down grab. Side-B is like Snake's time bomb in the form of a projectile, but it's a bit slow. Forces pressure if it hits though as it's like a sticky bomb. It can also stick to walls (AKA right on an edge). Normal B is alright, though it seems strangely plain. Can be shot straight up or down too, though, and it goes in that direction forever, so it can do some space control but it's not too useful for its low damage, knockback, and priority. Throwing it straight down when launched upwards can ease your way down though. If it hits the floor anyone can grab it and shoot it in any direction again. F-air is amazing, you can sweep down from the air with it, it's huge. D-air is instant and has insane priority and can be a fair KO move near the edge. U-air is an interesting bit, it's super hard to hit with, but carries enemies back up to the ceiling while Mega Man just stays down there. Overall, Mega Man's playstyle seems to be micro-spacing with small shots and FSmash while closing in with his more ranged attacks like F-air, and giving the enemy a hard time after launching them, with his various ranged setups.
Sorry, that's a lot, but I had to get it all out.
Poor Steve... Sadly I didn't get any more luck and haven't been able to win any more giveaways.
Anyway, I think I'm done for now, I'll pick the demo up again on the 19th now that the insane hype has died down from snatching a demo.
Oh yeah, level 9 Mario is super saiyan. Guy beat me down geez.
