So this exists now. Official GC controller adaptor for the WiiU: i.imgur.com/OSkRxCO.jpgSource: Also, Nintendo is holding a Smash4 tournament at E3 featuring people in the professional Smash scene. Rules are set to please both casual and competitive audiences (timed 4 player free-for-all matches with items, then 1-on-1). It's awesome that Nintendo is acknowledging and reaching out to its hardcore Smash fans, and it makes sense that they don't want to alienate the casual audience, (not to mention the fact that game has no developed metagame yet so a srs bsns tournament wouldn't make sense anyways.) Oh yeah, forgot to mention those. There's also a gamecube-esque controller called the fight pad being released as a connectable to the wii remote.

Miis, as 3 characters, confirmed... Ohmygod this makes Shulk and the rest a lot more likely. It practically confirms them, unless the leak was partially fake just to mess with us. Which isn't far-fetched, but still so much hype.
Uh... October 3 release date. What happened? That's my only real disappointment. That's nowhere near Summer like it was supposed to be ;-;
Edit: Monolith's project now confirmed as Xenoblade Chronicles X. SHULK MORE LIKELY DAY BY DAY

They also managed to predict Palutena, too. Dark Pit might be involved to some degree.
Out of all the characters and all the trailers and everything I've heard about this game so far, this trailer was actually the first thing to actually make me smile and kindle some excitement for this game inside of me. And I didn't even like Palutena so much in the original game. But the dialogue was funny, and it makes Shulk's involvement ever more likely.
Also the animation in that trailer was great! I'm crossing my fingers that they'll animate and voice the story to look like that in the single player campaign. Even if most of Nintendo's roster is mostly silent, that animation conveys so much more character than the subspace emissary. I swear that's the best Link has ever looked.
The Miis look very versatile, I hope the metagame doesn't become too saturated by them.

Ok this trailer deserves mention too, even though Claxus already mentioned the Miis, this was really funny.

Adding on to that: Miis do look like great characters, and have customizable specials. I'm pretty fond of that brawler class, and they even advertised it as me. Gunner looks really cool, but I hope they have some fancy close range attacks, too. Anyway, I'm still pretty much dead at all the Uprising stuff. It just confirms even more (there were the anime OVAs) that Uprising would make the best anime ever.

I see I missed Claxus's fangasm over Palutena. Oh well, smash invitational starting in 6 minutes. (only thing I'm watching for E3 lol)

Not just Palutena, but her addition and the whole representation of Uprising with that amazing anime intro and the Uprising style chatter and stuff. Just gonna leave this link here now for Nintendo's stream: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCZ734RshPASAKURAAAAAIII lolz ZSS 4 final smashes

That ZSS sweep...and ofc they picked Fox lol. Would've loved to see more Rosalina or Bowser.

Four final smash sweep. I mean it's fair game but we barely got to see any of the characters 'cause they were too busy getting OHKO'd by lasers the whole match ;-;
Dat Pit player. Idk what he was doing but I got several lols from his match, he was basically a comic relief character there. All of his deaths were funny (taking Marth's blue shell, trying to pick up an active a rocket then blasts off, the only one getting caught in Wii Fit Trainer's final smash, lolz). We got to see his final smash, though. He has some very nice aerials now.

I hope we see Megaman's FS.

Not any time soon now. That Kirby was pretty good... Him and the Marth players looked like the only ones so far who really know what they're doing.
Actually, fan-favorite match. Mega Man gets another chance.

That Fox was actually pretty good, now that he didn't get insta-KO'd by three final smashes. But knowing what you're doing is different than playing a main. No Mega FS this time around either.

No Mega FS this time around either. lol why does that make a difference? Your reasoning behind the fox being "good" is that he didn't get KO'd by final smashes?

No, because ZSS' first match wasn't much of a match. Her final smash is point and kill and lasts a good while (enough to kill each player once and more each use), and they got it four times. I'm just saying Fox actually got to play the second time around so we can actually judge.
And we just got to see Mega Man's FS, pretty hype. Has some really cool cut-ins in the beginning.

Well, it has some clear effort in looking awesome (it's a cutscene), plus it's massive fanservice to Mega Man fans... So nice to see something like that from Nintendo after Mega Man has had such terrible treatment from Capcom.
I still love Pit's though, it's stylish and shonen as heck.
