Those are pretty good. I like game music myself. I just finished listening to an 18 minute Nintendo medly mix. Some of my favorite songs came from games. Like the overworld theme "Unknown World" from Dragon Warrior 1. I have about 5 remixes and orchestrations of this song. I love it so. As much as I want to, I will try and only post 1.
Is posting a YouTube video with a song with small amounts of profanity considered a violation of some sort?
No, but I would suggest putting a warning of some sort so that people who would get offended have the option of not clicking the link, or at least know to except some.

So, does that apply to any amount of profanity? Just warn everyone and it's good to be posted? It seems like there would be a limit.
Either way, I don't really listen to video game music outside of video games. Most of what I listen to sounds a bit more like this. (WARNING! VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF PROFANITY! LIKE, IF THIS WERE PLAYED ON THE RADIO THERE WOULD BE ONE WORD THAT WOULD GET CENSORED! UNLESS YOU'RE LISTENING TO ONE OF THOSE LAME RADIO STATIONS THAT EDITS THE WORD "GUN"! OF COURSE, THAT'S ONLY AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOUR RADIO STATION OF CHOICE COULD QUALIFY AS ONE OF THE LAME STATIONS THAT EDITS TOO MUCH, AND THAT WORD MAY OR MAY NOT SHOW UP IN THE SONG!)

Use common sense and common courtesy. Problem solved.
As long as it's not excessive, I think it should be fine. But Admin has the final say on this, so it might be better to wait for his reply if it goes overboard on profanity.

Alright, so keep it to a minimum. Which means if I wanted to post basically any song by Mindless Self Indulgence it would not be okay to do it. And "Hot Dog" by Limp Bizkit is a DEFINITE no-no. Got it. ^But what I put up there should be fine.
How is Tales of the Abyss? I have only played Symphonia and was quite disappointed in it.
Well, how far did you get in tales of symphonia? after you compleate the journey of world regeneration the game gets EPIC!!! anyway, tales of the abyss is just as good as tales of symphonia, maybe better, but it doesn't start off so slow, and has different story elements so maybe you'll relate to it better. I think a copy of TotA is hard to come by, though. either way, both are 11/10 games
Also... death eye's song up there is very heavy metal. Not my sort of music, but I like the guitars in it.
theres something you rock enthusiasts may like. may not be 'heavy' enough, though.
I heard the persona games are good. how cheeply can you buy tem these days?

I beat it. The first disk was fun and I don't like dropping things halfway, so I finished it. The second disk... Ugh...
I didn't feel that the beginning was that slow, I felt that it was actually unbearably slow in the second half.
There was waaaay too much unnecessary padding in the second half. There was some in the first half, but oh my god that second disk seemed completely unnecessary. Too many forced dungeons that had nothing to do with the story. That game didn't need to be on 2 disks. Not to mention that the movement trees are never described and the ending sucks (yeah, I know that it is part of a series and all but the ending was still a pile of cop out and crap).
It was an... ok game, until you take the game clock into consideration. Too long and too mediocre.
^ well, thats a response I've never heard from tales of symphonia before. Very interesting. So it was just the padding you hated? well there isn't TOO much of that in tales of the abyss. but, we both seem to be on compleatly different wavelengths, soo... I'd be careful about grabbing a copy of TotA.

The padding is the main thing. It ended up being about a 50 hour game for me and most of it felt like so much of the game was just wasting my time. Combat also felt like a chore. It was interesting at first, but lost its steam around the halfway mark. Maybe it was just the movement tree that I was kind of forced onto since it was never explained any of that or gave an indication that there even was a tree for your attacks. Personally I felt that combat revolved around you finding out a broken combo or two and then just exploiting them for the whole game. It became super repetitive. It was sad when I realized that I thought that the gameplay would be improved if they all stood in a line and took turns punching each other. It also wouldn't be so bad if my AI allies weren't so thick. They would always only cast their highest level spell. Only their spell that took the longest to cast... I didn't like having to switch between everyone because then I felt like I was holding the games hand. Not good. And then when they would finish casting a spell that I made them prepare, if I didn't realize it they would go back into channeling a spell that takes 2 minutes to cast and be worthless for the rest of combat.
Combat? I believe that in most tales game there is an option to set your friendly AI's 'tactics' which might help a bit. generally the AI isn't a problem for me, I ignore them, and just continue fighting. Finding broken combos... yeah, I do find that repeats its self a bit there, but not a problem for me. I play most games, not just tales, for the story.
Anyway, this is getting off topic.
I simply love violins whats the game like if anyone knows? sounds good. ;D
