im plaing Fist of the northstar kens rage with a friend and he picks up a barrel. So im like "cool now throw it" and all he does is click the pick up button agian and droped it causeing it to blow up on him. Out of the silence came me screaming "WHY?!"

A month or two ago I was playing Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and I was doing some of those 100 missions.
The last one.
You know, that one where you fight Gogeta at full power?
That one that's so intense it doesn't have music?
That one that's almost impossible?
Yeah, that one.
Anyway, I was trying to beat it with Omega Shenron.
I spammed Dragon Thunder, got him within a bar of health from being dead.
Problem is, every time I tried to use it he did that shake the Nunchuk dash that consumes your energy so I repeatedly found myself in those collision battle things where you have to shake the Wiimote and Nunchuk as fast as possible.
Except I was using a GameCube controller because the motion control in that game is deplorably unresponsive, so I had to spin the control stick as fast as possible.
Anyway, he did beat me in one of them and immediately killed me in one combo.
I also had Gogeta for my next character, so I wasn't entirely screwed.
I fired the Big Bang Kamehameha x100 at him, he fired the normal one at me, and we were in one of those Kamehameha collision shake-the-Wiimote-and-Nunchuk things. Which usually means I'm dead; I never seemed to win at them.
But this time I went full force spinning the stick as fast I've ever spun a control stick and tore some of the skin off of my hand.
Game over.
I win.
I had beaten the ultimate mission in the game, a task that took me more attempts than I could count before.
Triumphant, I decided to take a break.
I hit the power button.
Draginball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 doesn't have an autosave feature.

Playing an RPG. 20 hours into the game Irreparably lost my super fire ball spell I had been leveling all game and my screen clearing lightning spell. |

Hm...well, I've been playing Phantom Hourglass trying to finish the temple of the Ocean King with no time used in my hourglass. I was on F11, doing fine...and then I went to go make supper for myself. And I didn't put my DS into sleep mode or pause it. Another epic fail is any time I miss offstage with Toon Link's Down Air in Brawl. Gotcha related fail: Being so bad with a flame ninja that my friend took me down using one 1v1 with a shield witch. Although that actually isnt all that fail; if shield witch keeps her distance she has the flame ninja (almost) helpless. |

If anyone else has stories about match-ups that ended up on their heads please post them here. Doing The Dragons' Den with a Flame Dragon. Got pretty much one-shotted by a Blizzard Dragon because I used the Flame Breath while it used its equivalent breath attack I assume they call Blizzard Breath. I went from destroying everything to dead in about 7 seconds. And the worst part is that's supposed to be not very effective.  |

I'm serious, I never have trouble with this. Epic Fail: playing a game from my childhood gor some reason, Scooby Doo night of 100 frights. In a level where you go in, hit a switch, and the water tries to elevate to kill you. The way the screen panned, I thought it was a cutscene. Turns out it's a cutscene for only, like, a second. So I sat here watching the "cutscene," watching as the water elevated and kills me. I laughed. |

Idk, itd have been cool. Besides majoras mask was rushed through production anyways. As was ocarina of time. Fans wanted that 3D zelda. Lol. Anyways, epic fails? Idk, itd have been cool. How do you think Link would survive the moon smashing into the Earth? The game concludes where you save the world so you don't need to go back in time in order to post pone it's destruction. If there is an alternate ending where the moon hits the Earth and the game continues afterwards... what's the point? After everything is dead, what is left to save? Dark Fierce Diety's mask? Is the normal one not good enough? How would it even be different? I don't see what having a dark one would add. That he would get it based on his rage seems very out of place. Link is not an angry protagonist and the world that he is exploring is a very depressing one, so getting a power up through being really angry seems rather awkward. Are you saying that you would have liked the game to have a normal Fierce Deity's mask, and a dark one? But the normal one is the reward for completing the side quests and getting all the masks. So getting another version of it that you use in the final battle for plot reasons kind of undermines the reward for exploring, especially if you can't use the normal one in the final battle (so you would, what, only use it to derp around when you refought the previous bosses that are no longer a challenge even without the Fierce Deity's Mask?) Or, are you suggesting that the Dark Fierce Diety's mask replace the normal mask? Because without the normal Fierce Deity's Mask to offset the dark one, how would the player understand the weight and importance of the mask without a normal one as a foil for contrast? Where would the dark one come from? Why does Link being angry create/unlock it? Would you replace the Fierce Deity's Mask with something else as the reward for getting all of the masks? Or just take it out all together? |

Or just take it out all together? Maybe i should rather elaborate more, ok so, the mask salesman would give link a mask (itd be the fierce deitys mask, just like all gray, without any features.) And tell link its an ancient mask that responds to the users choices, and if he saves termina it activates and he is reg fd, if it is destroyed and link survives by hiding under the clock tower, he is appalled at the destruction, and in a rage puts the mask on, causeing the "dark" transformation. The only difference would be asthetic. Like instead of blue beams it has red ones, black hair and eyes, dark colored tunic and a more angular sword, like its less curved and flowing and more angular and jagged. Idk it was just a potential what if scenario. |

also while playing WoW on one of the bosses's you have to jump from ship to ship, well.... I missed the jump which is supposed to always land you on the other ship.
