I listen to Hollywood Undead every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year of every century of every millenia of every lifetime!
They are my fave band of the year! ;D

Yeah, Hollywood Undead is awesome. (But I don't have their new album yet...)
They're one of the only bands I listen to that other people in my school listen to. They're too busy listening to that auto-tuned crap people call music these days, so they don't tend to share my taste in music, it seems.
But even if they did, they probably still wouldn't know what I Am the Avalanche is, for example.
Of course, I Am the Avalanche hasn't released any new music in 6 years, as far as I know, so that may have something to do with it.

I dont even know who the popular bands are! dont be surprised if i dont know some popular bands and celebraties. for music, i just listen to video game music.
I do agree that the little pop music i DO know nowadays is awful.

Someone once tried to tell me my favourite band, They Might Be Giants, was obscure. Yeah, they're so obscure they only did the theme song for a decently popular TV show, had one of the biggest hits of the 90s, one of their albums regularly makes it onto "best album ever" lists and have won multiple Grammies.
But Tom Milsom is quite obscure. I guess you could call Rock, Paper, Cynic obscure, same with The Folksmen (though you guys have probably heard of Spinal Tap, right? Same guys).
Most obscure one I can think of though is Jack Morgan. Mostly because he's made up and only has one song.

Taproot is somewhat obscure, I'd say. Their music is rarely played on the radio and i don't think anyone I know listens to it. Not as obscure as some other bands, but not exactly well-known.
While I'm thinking of it, anyone ever heard of Public Disturbance? They're the band Lostprophets was originally a side project of. Unfortunately, I've only heard of them, and have not heard their music...
EDIT: I just went to Google Public Disturbance. I forgot the L and Google Instant tried to give me treatments for lice in a certain area of the body...
Also, apparently there's an American Public Disturbance from the early 80s.
EDIT: Apparently, there are at least two American Public Disturbances...
You know who's really obscure? AC/DC. [/sarcasm]

Well, okay, it may be a bit of an exaggeration; they're not the 7th largest economy in the world yet. ;D I don't think quite as many people as I would've expected have heard of Falling In Reverse yet. Similarly, a surprisingly large number of people I know seem to not have heard of Trivium (You know, that band I've posted half a dozen songs of throughout the music section), even though one of their songs was on the soundtrack of Madden NFL 09. |

^ crush 40 is really good . I have a couple of their songs, I don't know why but I really like the song seven rings even though I didn't like the game that it was in that much.
