Not sure if they are obscure but I listen to Streetlight Manifesto (My all time favorite band) and Modest Mouse (My second favorite)

Gnarls Barkley. Everyone thinks it's just Cee-Lo.

I could literally list off at least 20 bands nobody I know has heard of at this point. But I don't feel like listing that many, so Periphery.

Q;indivi... The most obscure band I know, it's a 3-person Japanese digital music band, but the singer (Rin Oikawa) sings only in english for some reason. But her voice ;-;... Here's one of my favorite songs from them. And this song, is just so beautiful... No matter how many times I've listened to it. EDIT: Oh, right, I'm not sure if this is actually Q;indivi. It is, however, Rin Oikawa. This is the song that led me to finding her band. I don't wanna bore everyone with too many more videos, but... They'd bore you. But I'll just mention another band I like, The Delgados. Their music is kind of hard to describe... Maybe it's just me, but it's like their songs are just so dream-like. Hard to explain. A lot of their songs are titled pretty dark though, and so is much of their lyrics, even harsh (no cursing). Their songs basically face harsh realities of life head on, yet they have hopeful undertones. So, I'll bore you guys non-embedded videos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIfZZ1cQZss <- Wonderful, nostalgic song, basically about how life changes, wanting to return to past times... www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSMLx44DqFc <- 'All You Need is Hate.' Harsh title and song... But one or two lines of the lyrics suggest that it's not necessarily true, and just enjoy life. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNs6hIL34o8&feature=fvwrel <- Pretty depressing song... Except halfway in it suddenly becomes peaceful and almost uplifting. The way I see it, is 'waking up' from reality and just going for your true desires. ... Sorry guys, music gets me all sentimental. Well, if someone just clicks through one or two that makes me happy.
