So apparently yesterday Stephen Colbert did not want to give a shoutout to bronies. Not sure if it's supposed to be a funny subversion of his previous shoutouts to bronies, in character with his super-conservative persona, or ironic since his statement that he won't give a shoutout to bronies is in itself a shoutout to bronies. Could also be some combination of the 3. |

Season 2 Finale! Just got back from watching it and it was amazing!
Multiple songs with reprises! Awesome villains! Clone wars! Derpy! DJ Pon-3 eye color confirmed! Jdafkaefbnjsvna!

I managed to catch the second half of the second part and I really liked it. I'll catch the rest later. Nice that the villain in this got a little bit of a song. I still am disappointed though that Discord never got a villain song.
By the way in case if anyone wants to watch it.

Just watched the rest of the episode and I agree that it is probably my new favorite episode. Queen Chrysalis is an awesome villain. Not as awesome as Discord though.

Discord set the bar really high. It would be hard to find a villain better than Discord. I do like the Queen's design better though. ;D

So I found this while browsing pony music on youtube. It's a ponified parody of The Offspring's You're Gonna Go Far Kid. Pretty well done, though I think his vocals might sound better if they were a bit more agressive. So much better than Offspring's version. ;D Gonna watch the two part finale now. |

Wonderful, wonderful episode. Also, the only episode where you can see djpony's eyes! On the vid I watched it's at 39:47, right as twilight begins to sing the last song. It's hard to see unless you zoom.
They're just black.

It's actually kind of purple-ish. Some people say it's supposed to be red but the blue shadowing makes it look purple. The counter to that is that the eyes are actually purple when there are no shadows. |

Just out of interest, how do you actually say her name, DJ Pon3? I mean, i've always just called her Vinyl Scratch, but i'd like to know how i'm actually supposed to say her real name.
And i still think they're magenta. Her eyes don't seem red nor blue nor purple to me. That said, she looks cooler with the shades anyways.

Yeah, i saw that on another board. It's great. I honestly think they nailed Vinyl Scratch on that one. Her voice, her personality, everything about her just screams Vinyl Scratch. That, and you can't argue with a pony who can clean dishes with a freaking subwoofer. Oh, and she's got a bass cannon that can one hit KO Discord. I think my favorite part is when she pulls out an iPhone, and then promptly questions the point of the device and chucks it in the fire. She should be Android's newest mascot.  |

So Season 2 is finally on Netflix! Not that the release really affects me since I don't have Netflix, but I'm sure people who do have Netflix will appreciate it.
It also has the changed version of Last Roundup, but the original is still included in the Friendship Express DVD pack so it's not lost forever.
