Now while I am not a full blown brony and have only watched a few scarce episodes, allow me to be one to say that I am completely fascinated with Derpy. And the fact they gave her that name was awesome, I was put off by the voice at first but it grew on me. ;D ;D ;D DERPY!!

Season 2 Episode 15! New episode today! Finally a Fluttershy episode? Nope, turns out it only starts with Fluttershy. It's actually more of an Applejack episode. I guess they had another one to make up for Derpy stealing the spotlight in the last episode.  On my first viewing, I thought it was a pretty mediocre episode, and that the song was too long and repetitive. The second time I watched it, the song was a lot better, but I still think the rest of the episode was mediocre. Nevertheless, this episode also had one of my favorite letters to Celestia, so I don't know. Not gonna post a Youtube link to the episode because they keep getting taken down leaving an empty video. Instead have a metalcore Luna song based off of Luna Eclipsed by PrinceWhateverer. BEHOLD THE POWER OF MY CAPS LOCK! Check out his other stuff if you like metal, rock, or punk. He's done a few metal versions of popular fan songs like Nightmare Night and Beyond Her Garden by WoodenToaster, as well as some episode-centric songs like Pinkie's Parties which follows the plot of Party of One. Also he did a pop punk Cutie Mark Crusader's Theme which is pretty much the best thing ever. ;D |

Njay, we must have opposite tastes or something because I loved this one and thought the last one was okay. Which is totally fine to have different opinions, but it's weird because I agree on most of your points  I wasn't fond of the song either, but anything involving the whole Apple family pretty much has got me already. I was so frustrated that there wasn't a single "Eeyup" in the last episode, but got it this time ;D Least expected message + Southern accent + Southern music + Pinkie Pie magically replicating her mug of cider = Best Dear Princess Celestia ever ;D |

So what is your opinions how The Last Roundup got taken down because some people got mad that Derpy was thought to be a bad image of the mentally challanged? I can see why some people think this but I think this is going way out of proportion, if Derpy was to talk/get alot of screentime frequently I can understand more but people should understand that this was mostly for the fandom (although alot of fandom hated this episode for giving Derpy a name and voice). Anyway what do you fans think?

If I recall correctly, the bronies complaining about Derpy are worried that Derpy would be a recurring character used just for gags, coupled with the fact that Tabitha used a deep retarded sounding voice, which might be interpreted the wrong way by parents. Most likely, parents wouldn't know about the inside jokes in the brony fandom.
It wasn't just the Last Roundup that got removed. welovefine renamed all their Derpy items, and all instances of Derpy on Tabitha's (VA of Derpy) blog were replaced with _____ . The Last Roundup got removed a long time before the welovefine thing happened though. I thought I saw posts about its removal probably a few days to a week after it aired.
Interestingly enough, this prompted a whole bunch of emails to Hasbro and Tabitha in support of Derpy, to one of which Hasbro responded saying they wouldn't be changing the name of Derpy. I'm still not sure what the whole story surrounding the Derpy controversy is though.
On an unrelated note, Hearts and Hooves Day got accidentally prereleased on iTunes. The MLP subreddit is blowing up about it.
