For some reason, people think Met is a girl. I think he's a guy.

I don't really get why people think he's a girl either...

I think it's because they want to pair Tetsuya with someone, without making it a yaoi thing.

Met is by far not the only victim for a male<-->female look exchange. For some reason, fans find these strange transformation popular.

I don't see Met as being a girl.

Well...I drew Met as a girl and it doesn't look right.

Yup. I even drew him in a skirt like Saya from blood plus because her hairstyle is a boy's haircut, and it still didn't look right.

Met has never really been much of a favorite partner in my battles, however after trying to get a rare Sirius (to no avail), I learned to appreciate him more. That is, until he decides to poison me!

That is, until he decides to poison me!I agree. He has rubbish Borgs but then i wouldn't want him to be the one to destroy a Silver Sirius if i encountered one.

The other day my Borg and his stood right next to each other when Antares Beam Gunned Met's Borg right in the face. The way he flew, hitting the "walls" along with Met saying "Ooww!", made me laugh so I couldn't attack for a while.

I've never really liked Met much and I don't know why, I have no reason not to.
I guess its because hehas random borgs so I can't come up with any strategies.

I hate Met because he causes problems in Stone River.

I think Met's an awesome character. Ok, fine, MAYBE some of you had problems with him; NOT NOT WITH ME!! ;D
He's kinda like the GF Commnader who uses all the other borgs that everybody else doesn't have. Really goes with his "Strategist" personae, since he's more "tactical" than "head-on"

The sheer amount of Japanese fan-art depicting Met as a girl made me wonder about the gender as well. I looked up in the manual, and there was absolutely no mention of Met or his/her gender.
Is there any point in the game where anyone refers to Met as he or she?

^ I believe after the second Tetsuya/Met fight, Tetsuya mentions something along:
"If Met says no, he means no"

"If Met says 'no!'...um...see ya!"
