Probably. Until I see irrefutable evidence to the contrary I will continue to say that there will be a third game, and they will call it Pokemon Gray. Or Grey. I could never figure out which way was the right way to spell it. Or why there are multiple spellings in the first place. EDIT: Two people posting before me? Really? Am I really that slow? Apparently you are. NO OFFENSE. ;D None taken. So I'm at the first gym, and it sucks! (The gym, not the game.) I'm probably underleveled.

Did you get the monkey pokemon from the area to the right of the city (sorry if I can't remember the names)? You might need to level grind 2 or 3 levels. All I did was use most of my pokemon on his Lillipup then when his monkey came out I used the monkey pokemon I got and I was able to win without too much difficulty. Right now I am just about to enter the second gym. Wish me luck. I'm going to need it, especially since the next gym leader is a "that one boss" .

As it turns out, I found out about the monkey pokemon in school the day after I posted that, crushed the first gym, went on to the next town, went looking for a fighting type in the Pinwheel Forest, found a blue karate guy I don't remember the name of, and have been searching for another one since then since I couldn't catch it because I ran out of balls. I'm playing White, so apparently it's supposed to be impossible to find. So the next leader is That One Boss? I look forward to it.

Yeah, the blue karate guy's name is Sawk, he's awesome I have one in my party. Ironicaly I got the red guy first which you can only find in White, you must have walked through rustling grass to get it. I lost the first time I faced the second gym leader, because Sawk fainted. I busy catching some pokemon and exploring a desert before fighting the next gym leader (some girl who's name I can't remember who uses electric types), which as you can guess, is another That One Boss.

I did manage to catch Sawk a while ago, and he would be awesome if it weren't for the fact that I've been trying to evolve Drilbur, so I haven't really gotten around to training him. Throh, on the other hand, I used to single-handedly wipe the floor with the second gym because Vital Throw is too powerful. So, the fourth gym is another That One Boss? Again, I look forward to it. (But I'll probably tear through there easily once I evolve Drilbur. )

Not going to quote because it's too long, but here's a continuation of the above conversation.
Throh is quite the tank and easily took out the whole gym for me. Unfortunately, I had to leave him for the candle, but I go back and get him when I need a fighter.
Drilbur's evolution (Excadrill) is insane. I actually used Excadrill against the gym leader, which was pretty funny. I'm going through Victory Road right now and have been able to take out just about everything with it.
Zoroark is also fun because of its ability.

As of yesterday evening I have beaten the game! Overall it was pretty awesome, especially the end, one of the best pokemon games in my opinion. I beat it with Samuwott, Sigilyph, Darmatian, Pawinard, Golett, and Galvantula. Praise me!....or not.

I tried beating the game last night with Excadrill, Galvantula, Fraxure, Scolipede, Pawniard, and a dragon whose name I always forget... Durrigon, or something. I got flattened. Probably because my highest level was 43 and I was horribly unprepared for the fight...

I did beat it a while ago, but I swapped Fraxure for that dark-dragon I don't remember the name of that evolved into Zwelious half-way through. And my team was leveled up to, like, 47-55 or some range like that. The only reason I beat it was because Fire Blast missed my Galvantula twice, giving me time to Signal Beam Hydreigon out of there. Speaking of spider Pokémon, I've noticed that I'm having a much stronger urge to get an Ariados now that I have a Galvantula. Where can I get one?

EDIT: So, I wanted to get an Ariados with some egg moves, possibly, so I looked them up. Electroweb and Signal Beam? Sold! I bred Ariados with my Galvantula, and got a Spinarak with those two moves. And Poison Sting and String Shot. Problem is, I didn't realize Ariados wasn't as fast as Galvantula. He's actually kind of slow. And his attack is higher than his special attack, so Signal Beam and Electroweb are kind of obsolete compared to X-Scissor and some electric attack I've not looked for yet. Meaning getting the egg moves didn't really help at all. Whatever. It got 23 levels from one battle, so it's already at level 40. But it still can't beat a level 64 Umbreon. No surprise there.

Do NOT face the 2nd/3rd gym (I don't know which 1 you're on) until all party pokemon are around Levels 23-26. Run around (but not in) Tall Grass until 1 rustles, if it's Audino, kill it for MAJOR EXP. Repeatedly do that or fight wild Pokemon in Dark Grass to train.

Run around (but not in) tall grass until 1 rustles, if it's Audino, kill it for MAJOR EXP. Repeatedly do that or fight wild Pokemon in Dark Grass to train. Why not? I haven't used Throh since the second gym for some reason, and he's only level 19. He beat the entire gym, mostly with Vital Throw. Now that I think about it, it was somewhat difficult. Either way, yes, Audinos are good for experience. Also, Pidove and Pansear (the monkey) have an advantage against most of the third gym. But you may already know that. That's all I'll say on that matter. EDIT: Ariados can't learn X-scissor? @!#?@! ANOTHER EDIT: I'm having terrible luck with catching pokémon at the moment. I found a level 47 Audino and wanted to catch it because, well, it's level 47. I False Swiped it to 1 HP as it kept using, like, Heal Pulse or something. As soon as it reached 1 HP, it used Take Down. Then I found a Sunkern and tried to catch it. I False Swiped it to 1 HP. Then it used Sunny Day. Solar Power kicked in for it. And I've only seen one wild Pinsir, for some reason. Does it have a .1% encounter rate or something?

I honestly find that difficult to believe, considering I spent longer that it took me to get a Kecleon in the original Pokémon Mystery Dungeon looking for another Pinsir and didn't find one. Anyway, I'm trying to find my way through the Giant Chasm now, and I'm not making much progress. But I'll figure it out; I always do.
