Well each pokemon game explains a story of their own, but you might have a point there. Sadly I think it might be a little unfitting for Pokemon to have a mind blowing ending to the series. I think the series will just end, without any spectacular finish. I've seen many things have endings like that. It's a shame really. Yeah but would you really feel the same way if a series like Pokemon ended like that? |

each pokemon game brings something new to each one
silver/gold wasthe first game in the series to be in two regions
crystal was the first game for the pokemon to move when they appear
ruby/saphire brought contests
emerald brought the battle tower
diamond and pearl brought online to the series
soulsilver/hearthgold brought the poke games

I still love the pokemon games but is it me or should they have had black and white out first because it dosnt follow the trend of the the coulor becoming more vaulble

In my opinion, the new generation is fail. Has anyone seen the pokemon for these games? They're REALLY running out of ideas. 4th gen was a stretch for them, and 5th gen, they're pretty much out of good ideas.

not true. fourth gen just ran itself into the ground with soo many legendaries... and perhaps the theme song on the anime. I have hopes for black and white (yin and yang if you didn't know), but of course we all had hopes for fourth gen, buut...
the thing I saw was going a bit overboard was the concept of triple battles coming out. kind of interesting, but i still like the old fashioned single battles the most ;D

Wait, is triple battle 3 Pokemon or 3 trainers? *forgot*  Looking at the updated list of new Pokemon, some of them look okay...kind of...sort of...not really. Maybe like, two. And some of them look way too much like Digimon. But the new main characters look pretty cool. :3 |

Have you guys ever tried Shoddy battle? It's pretty much a system where you can customize your team to whatever specifics you want and battle people all over the world. That alone pretty much gives me no reason to buy the actual game.
And each generation has brought new moves and pokemon that have drastically affected the metagame. Stealth Rock, priority moves, and heavy defense have become the epitome of 4th generation battling.
I'm looking for some better counters from some of the more overused pokemon.

Well, it's Sunday, that means it's out for America. Who is going to get the game (if not already)? At first I didn't want to get the game but as I learned more about it, it looks like it might be one of the best new pokemon games since probably the 1st and 2nd gens. I am going to be getting Pokemon Black. Also if you do have the game, feel free to post your friend codes here.
